Aveiro, next to the sea and the ria (estuary), is crossed by a network of channels through which moliceiros (local boats) meander. These slim, colourful vessels used to be used to collect algae and seaweed, and today are for sightseeing trips. Visiting on foot does not mean too much effort either since the city is flat, and anyone who enjoys cycling can take a "BUGA" - bicycles made freely available by Aveiro City Council.

Águeda is a motocross track located in Águeda - Aveiro (Portugal). It is known also with the name of Pista do Casarão or Crossódromo Internacional De Águeda and it has been considered one of the best tracks in the world.
The track that is 1500 meters long is built on clayey terrain and has been redesigned in 2017 by Greg Atkins, former Youthstream staff and responsible for the MXGP world championship tracks.

Its exceptional collection of 65 automobiles was begun by one of the Museum's founders, João de Lacerda. They include historic examples such as the armoured Mercedes and Cadillac that spent long years in the service of the Portuguese dictator António de Oliveira Salazar, a Pegaso Sport, given by General Franco to President Craveiro Lopes and the Bugatti 35B in which Lehrfeld achieved a land speed record of over 200 km/h back in 1931.
