Next to the Central Station, on top of the Hilton, there is a Sky Lounge. Drinks are rather expensive, beer / wine €8,-, but it has a great overview over Amsterdam. Great place to have a drink!

After a long day of sightseeing it is nice to relax and have a drink in the Vondelpark. In the later afternoon it can be pretty crowded by both tourists and locals.

Entertainment & Activities
The Movies is very beautiful and the best art-house cinema I know. I visit it with great pleasure for many years now. You can randomly pick a movie and expect it to be of quality. Highly recommended!
