Great little cafe just a short walk from our house! Stop in for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Good coffee, good food, and if it's nice out you can hang out on the huge patio.
If you have kids, it's also right next to a park that's full of kids toys and equipment.

The RiNo (River North Art District) area is full of breweries! You could probably go to 6-7 in just this area, and they're all pretty good! There's even 2 that specialize in ciders, and a distillery that makes some great vodka nearby too. Great food places are here too, lots of art, entertainment, and other things to do. Highly recommend this area for an evening or two.

There's even 2 that specialize in ciders, and a distillery that makes some great vodka nearby too. Great food places are here too, lots of art, entertainment, and other things to do. Highly recommend this area for an evening or two.
If you've got a rental car and a little spare time, it's well worth it. Great beers, good food, and the space is just really cool. One of our absolute favorites!

There's so much to do here, I can't break it all out or I'd have too many food and drink entries. There's breweries (my favorite being Denver Beer Co), restaurants (Linger is amazing), and it's not too far to walk from here to Coors Field, home of the Rockies.

Sightseeing
Union Station was recently renovated a few years ago. It's now a transportation hub for RTD light rail which goes directly to the airport as well as around Denver, AmTrak, and good restaurants. It's just an all around neat area to walk around.

City Park is 2 blocks away, so take advantage of it! There's lots of trails for walking and biking. When it's nice enough out, you can go out on the lake or enjoy Jazz in the Park every Sunday (starts Memorial Day weekend).

If we didn't live right next to City Park, Wash Park would be our favorite go-to park. It's beautiful, with lots of trails and there always seems to be something going on. Plus, there's lots of good food places in the area.

This park isn't too far away, and it's beautiful with great views of the city and mountains behind on a clear day! Plus, it's right up next to the botanic gardens, which I'd highly recommend too.
