Cutest little book store/cafe that is actually named after its owner, Storie! Bring a book, take a book of equal value and don’t miss out on their crisp, fragrant mason jar peach tea. They even have story time for kids!

This is the best place to be on a Friday or Saturday evening in Glen Rose TX! But get there early, this is a sleepy town and even the craziest coyote has a bedtime of 9:00pm. Arguably the best bbq in town, live music and a great atmosphere!

Book dinner in advance at this one-of-a-kind fine dining experience off the historic square in Glen Rose. Once a sanitarium that carried this town through the Great Depression, this century old building is now home to a little hotel that also offers upscale dining on Friday and Saturday nights as well as a full fledged brunch on Sunday. Just call ahead to make a reservation at least 24 hours in advance. BYOB and keep your eyes and ears peeled for the supposed friendly ghost, the once clairvoyant Dr. Snyder.
