Without a doubt, The Ivy Chelsea Garden on the King’s Road serves the largest brunch menu each weekend. It has the most sophisticated, luxurious décor in the area. The garden, complete with its own orangery, is a great place to have a cocktail on a sunny day. Their weekend brunch menu lasts most of the day so it doesn’t matter what time you wake up, you’ll still receive your brunching needs. Also be sure to try their Sloane ranger cocktail, you won’t regret it.

Muriel’s Kitchen is hidden around a corner from South Kensington tube station and produces beautifully delicate dishes and great coffee. Without a doubt, the best thing they serve is their homemade scotch egg, which produce a delicious runny yoke. The small cafe is well represented and has great service. Don’t forget to order one of their homemade cakes before you leave, if you can spare the room.

Arts & Culture

Many of London’s best museums are free to visit, making what they show just that little bit more awesome – but also very busy. Go off peak and try the hands-on experiments to understand more about the scientific world (there are specially dedicated zones to suit children of different age groups) or simply gaze on examples of incredible technology, from early computers to space hardware.

Entertainment & Activities

A bastion of the eclectic and alternative culture that made the Kings Road famous, this cinema is a true joy for film lovers. Going beyond the superficial staples of other ‘art house’ cinemas, usually involving reclining chairs with toddler eating cushions and wackily flavored popcorn, the Curzon Chelsea offers a vast selection of foreign and independent films as well as live concerts, ballets and theatre screenings. But if that doesn’t interest you the cinema also offers the best blockbusters that can be found in most other less comfortable cinemas.
