The locks are locally referred to as the Ballard Locks. They are a short walk from our Magnolia house. There is a fish ladder with viewing windows, a nice park, and a foot bridge to cross and watch the boats.

There is so much to do at this large beach park -- fire pits, hiking, sail boats, ice cream, and amazing people watching. This park is always fun.

This is the nicest grocery store in Magnolia and it is a super short drive from our home. There are cheaper grocery options at QFC, Safeway, and Albertsons but Met Market is delicious and an experience.
