The chalet is only a field away from the shore of Lochailort, and it looks onto the loch. There is a sandy beach which is safe for bathing and boats. For children, it is a wild and natural playground. It has double bedroom, a twin-bedded room, hall, bathroom and lounge-dining-kitchen area. A balcony at the front is accessed through french doors. The lounge-dining-kitchen area is open plan. Recently refurbished, there is oak flooring throughout.
Vicky, the chalet, is one of five purpose built chalets situated in Moidart, 33 miles West of Fort William. They are set in a marine protected area and an area of considerable natural beauty and enjoy a rare commodity - peace and quiet - with magnificent views of the Hebridean Islands from the beach to the west and hills all around. We are located on the shores of Loch Ailort, a sea loch that opens into the Sound of Arisaig. The highest hill for quite a distance - Roisbheinn - rises steeply out of the loch at the back of the farm to just under 3000 feet. For the adventurous, the views from the top are almost too spectacular to describe. We are in an excellent position for those who want to tour Lochaber and even further afield - whether it is a boat trip to Skye and the Small Isles, a ride on the steam train or just a walk in the hills. There is a wealth of history in Moidart, not least the associations with 'Bonnie Prince Charlie' and the Jacobite movement; and with all the natural flora and fauna you will run out of time to see and do it all.

Only a field away from the shore of Lochailort the chalet looks onto the loch. The sandy beach is safe for bathing and boats. For children, it is a wild and natural playground. Please note the location shown on the map isn't quite accurate. There is a double bedroom, a twin-bedded room, hall, lounge-dining-kitchen area and a small bathroom. A generous balcony at the front is accessed through french doors. The living area is open plan. Recently refurbished, there is oak flooring throughout.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE PHOTOS OF THE OTHER CHALETS. THE FOUR CHALETS ON AIRBNB ARE VERY SIMILAR. NEW PHOTOS COMING SOON! This self-contained trailer has been a well loved part our home since 2010. We’re happy to welcome friends and visitors to stay in it from time to time. A beautiful, wild and remote setting on the West Coast of Scotland. Peace and quiet! A useful stopover en route to the Skye ferry. Cars and wellies recommended! Eggs & local produce available. 30mins drive to shops/bars. If you enjoy the company of chickens, ducks, and a friendly collie, you should like it here! We look forward to welcoming you.
This vintage caravan is a cosy, quiet, self-contained space positioned by our house. It has views of mountains and trees. There’s a double bedroom and another small bedroom that can be arranged either with a small double bed or two small beds ideal for children, a living area with sofa-bed and couches, dining table and freeview tv, and well equipped kitchenette. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet.
Mountains, lochs, woodlands, beaches, walks!
Zdecydowanie polecam.

    Sue2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Bawiliśmy się naprawdę dobrze i odprawiliśmy się w przyczepie kempingowej. Istnieją dwa oddzielne pokoje i wystarczająco dużo miejsca dla 2-4 osób! Kuchnia zawiera wszystko, czego potrzebujesz do gotowania.

    Cathy2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Świetna spokojna lokalizacja do odkrywania Zachodniego Wybrzeża z łatwym dostępem do spacerów i morza. Bardzo pomocni gospodarze i proste, czyste i wygodne zakwaterowanie.

    Malcolm2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Przyczepa jest bardzo wygodna iw pięknej okolicy. Alison i Leon są świetnymi gospodarzami

    Jenny2019-05-19T00:00:00Z

Night Park is a delightfully spacious & tastefully decorated lodge nestled within two acres of wildlife-rich woodland gardens with access onto the shores of spectacular Loch Ailort where guests will be treated to panoramic views of the Small Isles. Within 5 minutes drive of Glenuig with shop, restaurant & bar.
Night Park is an incredibly spacious & secluded detached property nestled within the ancient woodlands of Roshven on the banks of Loch Ailort, and is a haven for all sorts of wildlife. Look out for Red Deer, Pine Martins & Sea Eagles as they make their way through the gardens! The accommodation is tastefully decorated, incredibly spacious and perfectly set out for outdoorsy groups and families. The area offers world-class hill walking, kayaking and sailing, all of which can be done on the doorstep. For day trips, guests can easily reach the following destinations: Glenuig (5 minutes) - The pretty fishing village of Glenuig enjoys a well-stocked community shop, smokehouse, thriving village hall, local history house as well as a good restaurant/bar. Glenfinnan (30 minutes) - Head over to Glenfinnan to watch the famous Jacobite Steam Train chug over the Glenfinnan viaduct (the train also passes Lochailort, just 5/10 minutes from Night Park). Mallaig (20/25 minutes) - Head to Mallaig to board the car ferry to Skye where it's possible to take a day trip around one of Scotland's most famous and beautiful islands. Ardnamurchan Peninsula - From Night Park, head west into what's known as the "Real Wild West" where you can be treated to a true wilderness experience and witness some great sights such as Castle Tioram and Ardnamurchan Lighthouse. You can also take the short car ferry across to Mull from Kilchoan for a day trip to remember.

We have a quiet, wild corner of our garden where folk sometimes stay in our tentipi. A good option if you love camping but are travelling light. Go off-grid and enjoy an outdoor adventure in one of the most beautiful parts of the world! Relax around the campfire in your own exclusive outdoor living room, then retire to bed in the tipi. A well-equipped, tucked-away woodland campsite all ready and set up just for you. Note: If you're looking for a luxury place with bathroom, this is not for you!
We're not offering a luxury B&B, this is a more basic outdoors experience! There's a well designed dry compost loo on site. Cold water is available from a nearby tap for filling up a bucket for washing. We advise to bring bottled drinking water due to our peaty, untreated supply. Lots of trees, hills, beaches nearby, and stunning mountain and loch views. The tipi has folding camp-beds. On the ground inside is gravel and stones. We provide the essential camping equipment that you need to be comfortable, including an off-grid outdoor living area with fire-bowl, table and chairs, cooking and washing-up equipment. The padded camping-beds are comfy and warm, we provide 3-season sleeping bags with sheet liners, pillows, and optional gortex outer bags (for those extra cold nights). We hope you enjoy your adventure with us and appreciate this special part of the world!
Cars, bikes and wellies are useful for getting around this remote rural area! Nearest local store is 3 miles away (it’s volunteer-run and usually open in the afternoons). Good pubs in the area include the Lochailort Inn (5 miles away), and the Arisaig Hotel (14 miles away). Check out our guidebook here on Airbnb for loads more local info.

    Tomasz2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Naprawdę łatwe do znalezienia z podanymi wskazówkami! Poleciłbym każdemu, kto chce wrócić do podstaw i otoczony przyrodą. Dostępna jest mała kuchenka gazowa i patelnie.

    Mikaela2019-08-16T00:00:00Z

    Julia2019-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Wspaniałe miejsce na pobyt! Blisko do pięknych, dość spacerów. Powinieneś iść do Glenuig i iść wzdłuż wybrzeża: piękne i ciche!

Romantic hideaway for couples, in a truly romantic location, once the resting place of Prince Charles Edward Stuart during the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion.
The Scottish Baronial mansion of Kinlochmoidart House, occupies a marvellous position amidst some of Scotland’s most magnificent West Highland scenery. It has been sensitively formed into three residences; Glenfield, once home to the estates "Glenfield" generator, has been charmingly converted into a spacious, attractively furnished conversion. Glenfield provides the perfect holiday retreat for which this area is blessed at all times of the year.
Just a short walk away from the house lies Loch Moidart, where vast expanses of sand are thrown up by the sea at low tide. At the seaweed end of this beautiful inlet, sit the ancient ruins of 14th century clan Castle Tioram (once the stronghold of the Lord of the Isles), providing a focal point for gloriously scenic views. Between nearby Loch Shiel and Loch Sunart, a trail leads through the Ariundle Oakwoods Nature Reserve – a haven for wildlife – whilst southwards, the coast is punctuated by bays of white sand, excellent for fishing and shell-collecting, or admiring the views over hill, loch and sea. Fort William, the gateway to Ben Nevis, is a scenic drive away, and the Western Isles, Skye and Ardnamurchan are all accessible.

Perched above Lochailort with outstanding views across the loch towards the Roshven Hills and beyond, our cozy, romantic and newly built lodge makes for the perfect destination to unwind and relax in the wilderness. Ideal for couples as well as young families. Perfectly located as a hub to explore Mallaig (Skye ferry), Arisaig (Small Isles), Glenfinnan (Harry Potter train/Jacobites) and Fort William (Ben Nevis), which are all accessible within half an hour.
Conveniently located next door to our property, but far enough away for privacy, the lodge benefits from having private parking and all modern conveniences such as wifi, satellite television, laundry facilities and central heating plus electric fire. The first bedroom contains a double bed with tv and the second bedroom contains two small single beds, suitable for under 16s. There's also a shower room, well kitted out kitchen and lovely living area with fire and fantastic views out of the french doors over the loch below. Just ten minutes drive from Arisaig or twenty to Mallaig where you can stock up at the village shops and take the ferry to Skye and the Small Isles for day trips. The Ardnamurchan peninsula is also a stone's throw from the lodge where you can explore the "real wild west" and even catch the ferry from Kilchoan (1 hour) over to Mull. Glenfinnan is also just twenty minutes away where you can find out all about Bonnie Prince Charlie and watch the Jacobite Steam Train (Hogwarts Express) chug over the viaduct. The steam train also passes just behind the lodge in the summer months. The lodge is a great hub from which to explore the area. The train station is located just ten minutes walk away as well as the Lochailort Inn where you can enjoy locally sourced food at a great price.
Lochailort Inn, Arisaig House, Arisaig Hotel and Old Library (ten minutes drive) make for great places to enjoy locally sourced and very tasty food. There's also a couple of cafes, a marina and a small museum in Arisaig that are well worth a visit.

Near Skye and easy for Loch Ness, Oban, Inverness and Fort William. This lovely old Highland cottage is perfect for couples, Highland explorers, and families. Stay for a few days. There's lots to do: cycling, swimming, kayaking, wildlife watching, whisky tasting, listening to live local music... or just doing nothing! For colder months, there is also a cosy log burning stove.
The cottage is an old building reimagined as a modern, warm and cosy space, great as a refuge from the excesses of Scottish weather. Traditional bathrooms and a cottage kitchen allow guests to enjoy a home from home in the Highlands.
The woodland setting affords glimpses of eagles, buzzards, pinemartins, foxes and badgers, and down the hill you will meet seals, otters and herons. A walk through the green gates will bring you into Arisaig Village, some 2 miles away. Here, the Hotel has live music on Friday nights and a wide ranging bar menu celebrating local seafood and meat. We recommend trips on the Shearwater to Eigg, Muck or Rum, and a journey to Knoydart (on the Western Isles ferry) is always magical. Skye is just 1/2 hour away by ferry, and Loch Ness about one hour distant.

The house is set in a quiet corner of the small community of Lochailort. This is considered remote/rural area. It is an ideal location for outdoor activities or for day visits to the Small Isles, Fort William, Mallaig, Inverie, Glenfinnan , Glen Uig and Ardnamurchan . If you arrive tired and stressed I hope you leave feeling rested and calm.
The area is suited for those who wish to unwind or those who wish outdoor activities. It is a very safe, friendly area. Particularly ideal for kayakers, cyclists and hill walkers. The room is large and spacious enough to accommodate three single beds. Shower-room facilities are en-suite.
Quiet and friendly and very safe. Central point for various day expeditions. Reasons for people visiting this area are varied: scenery, touring, walking, kayaking, history, film locations (especially Harry Potter fans ), Glenfinan Viaduct, Jacobite Steam Train and of course to experience the friendly and famous Highland Hospitality. Very Important if driving from Fort William. Do NOT take the single track road before Lochailort Inn. This un-named road is substandard and crumbling. The sign post here is misleading. Continue to junction after Lochailort Inn. Turn left onto A861. Just before a large ruined grey house take left, the road forks take left onto single track road. MOWI sign is on your right. Continue along road, river to left, fields to right, until you come to wooden bridge. Turn right onto track past Colt House then Fasgadh. The third house is your destination. Name Keenan on a stone and house name Coille an t- Sithein on the gate.

We invite you to stay for a minimum of 3 nights or longer in on a self-catering break for up to eight guests. Please see below for the room configurations. We have a lovely home in an idyllic location. Our cottage is at the top of the valley of Inverailort (Lochailort). We are surrounded by mountains and have a lovely stream flowing past at the bottom of our garden. The sea is just a short 10 minute walk away (2 minute drive) and geographically - we are extremely well placed for day excursions being located at the three-way intersection which offers you easy access to Fort William, Mallaig, Roshven / Glenuig, Kinlochmoidart, Acharachle, Ardnamurchan, Arisaig, Glencoe, Loch Lomond, Inverness, Loch Ness, Skye, and the Outer Isles. Each journey being full of the hidden gems of Scottish beauty and the most beautiful scenery. The ‘Harry Potter’ Jacobite steam train literally passes our home four times a day during the summer months and is an amazing sight when viewed from just a few metres away. There is so much to do in the area - aside from sightseeing, why not take a boat trip to the amazing Knoydart or the outer Islands of Rhum, Canna, Muck, Skye, and Eigg? Alternately you can hire our kayaks in two hour time slots for some local freshwater loch exploration (sea water also possible - ask for details). We now also have five bikes that can be rented for the day or half day if you prefer to stay local and get some exercise!. Walk along the beautiful 'silver sands' at Morar or play a nine-hole round of golf at Traigh - quite possibly one of the most stunning golf settings in Scotland. Take a day trip on the Jacobite Steam train from Fort William to Mallaig and experience the Harry Potter viaduct at Glenfinnan and some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. If you like hiking or hill walking there can be no better place to get out and about - our local mountains and well trodden trails offer some spectacular scenery - with beauty unfolding before your eyes with every step you take. Ask about some of the less well journeyed local hikes that provide some beautiful hidden secrets..! Our house has four letting bedrooms - each is very tastefully renovated in French Renaissance style with traditional period furniture and every care has been taken to ensure your maximum comfort. We have three luxurious double bedrooms each with their own wash hand basins, plus one very elegant twin (pull out trundle bed) / single room. We have a beautiful shower room in a modern / contemporary style, and a lovely bathroom in a ‘traditional period finish’ with a modern twist! The house is clad in half-round logs and is finished in a 'rustic Scandinavian cabin effect, with surrounding decking and a decked terrace overlooking the burn, (which is also accessed from the French doors in the living room and is a beautiful place to enjoy afternoon tea on a nice sunny day). We have an adjacent 'spa' cabin at the end of the property which houses a six-seat Jacuzzi hot tub and 6-8 seat sauna – an ideal way to relax after a hard day in the Highlands! There is a cold ‘douche’ style shower located in between the two. There is an additional charge for the use of this facility in order to help towards the upkeep, energy and maintenance costs, plus laundering of the spa towels / spa robes etc. We have a strict no-smoking policy please anywhere inside the house. We have complimentary wireless broadband Internet available for those who need to keep in touch with the 21st century..! We own two Springer Spaniel / Labrador dogs (Pixie and Trixie) that keep a low profile and who are well trained, know their place and not the sort to be jumping all over people, but love to be petted and taken for long walks!! They are not sleeping in the property but an adjacent work-shed. Subject to availability, we can offer you fresh organic eggs for breakfast from our own chickens, plus seasonal vegetables grown in our poly-tunnel and vegetable plot throughout the summer season. Two and three course dinner menus are sometimes available for those who might prefer to eat in. Finally - a brief insight into our background so you can be assured we have some depth of experience to take care of you........... I, (Gary), have spent more than 30 years in the Catering Industry - providing all aspects of catering up to and including for various members of the Royal Family. In addition - I have spent around 15 years renovating property for high profile clients in London, France and Australia. My wife Katie is from Poland and has a Masters Degree in Business Administration and has previously spent over five years managing our Property Rentals portfolio in London. She is also an excellent cook! We married in August 2010 and following our wedding we decided to re-locate back to my homeland where I grew up as a child and begin a new chapter of our lives together. We have 3 children - Maia, Eoin and Kaia. We love to take care of new friends and look forward to meeting you here one day.
Peace, tranquillity, views from all our windows, the quiet, the clean air and fresh water, our home grown vegetables and fresh chicken's eggs.....not to mention all the beauty of the surrounding area and hidden jewels in our magical corner of the West Highlands.

Our home is located deep in the rural Highlands of Scotland in a small village called Lochailort. For more history just Google Lochailort. There are deep significant and historic links to Scotlands military past but more importantly for guests - it's a very peaceful location surrounded by mountains with just a few minutes drive to the sea.
  • Mieliśmy wspaniały pobyt w Gary i Katie.

  • Ciche i piękne odpoczynek w Highlands! Ładna umywalka w łazience w sypialni (altho potrzebuje nieco więcej energii wodnej) do szczotkowania zębów / mycia twarzy. Uwagę na wszystkie szczegóły, nieskazitelnie czyste, ekskluzywne meble, grube ręczniki, dobrze zaopatrzony bar zaszczyt, wszystkie sprzeczne Gary'ego gościnność i projektowania / budowania tła. Stephanie i Rodger

We have an adjacent 'spa' cabin at the end of the property which houses a six-seat Jacuzzi hot tub and 6-8 seat sauna – an ideal way to relax after a hard day in the Highlands! There is a cold ‘douche’ style shower located in between the two. There is an additional charge for the use of this facility in order to help towards the upkeep, energy and maintenance costs, plus laundering of the spa towels etc. We have a strict no-smoking policy please anywhere inside the house. Smokers are very welcome to make use of our outdoor work shed for smoking if the weather is inclement. We have Free-view television with a good quality surround sound system plus are a large number of DVD'S and music C.D's available to use, in addition to numerous books, travel guides, maps and games for guests to take advantage of if desired. We have complimentary high-speed wireless Internet available for those who need to keep in touch with the 21st century..! We own two Springer Spaniel / Labrador dogs that keep a low profile and who are well trained, know their place and not the sort to be jumping all over people! They are not allowed inside the property. We also keep chickens (fresh organic eggs for breakfast!) and grow our own vegetables in our poly-tunnel throughout the summer season. Two and three course dinner menus are sometimes available for those who might prefer to eat in. We use the freshest ingredients (our own where possible and if not - sourced locally as much as we can). We will try and remember to send you the menu of the week as close to your arrival as we can. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in having any dinners with us as we are 27 miles from the nearest shops and therefore need to plan in advance. Finally - a brief insight into our background so you can be assured we have some depth of experience to take care of you.............. I, (Gary), have spent some 30 plus years in the Catering Industry - providing all aspects of catering up to and including for various members of the Royal Family. We have three children - Maia, Eoin and Kaia. We love to take care of new friends and look forward to meeting you here one day.
This is Scotland. It can sometimes be cold, wet and miserable - as well as stunningly beautiful! We are remote and live in a rural village setting. There are no shops here - just one local pub so if socialising is your thing - Fort William or Mallaig may be a better option!

Katie and I own a stunning, luxurious Guest House / Bed and Breakfast or Self Catering cottage in the rural heart of the North West Scottish Highlands. We invite you to stay for a couple of days, a weekend, a week or longer in one of our beautifully furnished double / twin bedrooms or alternatively use the property for a self-catering break from a minimum of three days and for up to eight guests. We have three luxurious double bedrooms each with their own wash hand basins, plus one very elegant twin bedded or single room. We have a beautiful shower room in a modern / contemporary style, and a lovely bathroom in a ‘traditional period finish’ with a modern twist! • Mieliśmy wspaniały pobyt w Gary i Katie!
