Cozy affordable one room cabin with WIFI, shaded garden patio and chickens. Located near old-town and Cache La Poudre river trail system and surrounded by open space, great for stargazing and running with dogs. We have loaner bikes too - just ask! People of color and LGBTQ friendly.
Cozy one-room cabin with comfy queen sized bed, fast WIFI, and beautiful patio. Bathroom and shower are just a few steps away in main house. We've lived in Colorado our entire lives and over 20 years in Fort Collins and can give you lots of great suggestions for the area. If you're flying in there's no need to rent a car since we're just one block from a bus stop or you can borrow one of our townie bikes and take the Poudre River trail to Old Town, Odell or Equinox Breweries. Take the trail miles west to Laporte to hear some honky-tonk or bluegrass at the Swing Station. The cabin has a comfy queen sized bed and we can add a cot or inflatable mattress upon request. Guests can access the bathroom and shower through the back door of the main house (just 5 feet away). The cabin also has WIFI, electricity and electric heater (but no AC). You're welcome to use the kitchen, stove and fridge in main house. Pets are welcome in our large fenced yard, there's even a doggy-door so your pet can go in and out of guesthouse as it pleases. We’re also surrounded by large fields where you can run your dog. Please add each pet as an additional guest. Kayakers and rafters are welcome! We're only 15 minutes to some of the best whitewater in Colorado. The Cache La Poudre River is protected as one of the last "Wild and Scenic" rivers in the United States. From DIA take Groome Transportation Shuttle right to our doorstep ~$48.
We live on a gravel road in a semi-rural part of town surrounded by open space great for running dogs. There's horses across the road and we often see deer. Guests often remark about the number of stars that are visible.

Całkowity komfort i relaksujące uczucie - całkowicie wyluzuj!

One of Estes Park’s most popular vacation rentals, for good reason! This modern studio offers a private deck & great views in a quiet mountain neighborhood near Rocky Mountain National Park (Permit 3281). You will likely encounter herds of elk & deer, and are welcome to enjoy the starry night in the hot tub. A cozy, private space with its own entrance, a luxurious queen bed, sofa bed, & kitchenette. Conveniently located 1/4 mile from Marys Lake, and 4 miles from downtown & the national park
THE TOWN HAS SHUT DOWN SHORT TERM LODGING UNTIL 4/17! You can only rent now for 30+ days (so we have 1, 2 and 3BR units available for monthly stays at reduced rates), and now to those exempted: you work here (ie, travel nurses/healthcare); you are under quarantine with a note from county public health; you have symptoms; or you can demonstrate good cause to stay. Please inquire if you meet the requirements. NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. This is a gorgeous, modern studio apartment in my home's walkout basement, with amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. As you can see in the photos, there is a front living area and a rear bedroom area, but no door separating them. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! Past reviews have raved about this property: "... the best I've stayed at." "... a surreal environment with beautiful artwork and clean cut simplicity in design" "... a must stay if you are in the area." "... tons of wildlife right out the back door." "... pictures can’t truly describe the view from the deck." "... an incredible value for all it gives. Amazing location and view!" Note that some months of the year I live upstairs, and other months I am gone. When booking, assume I'll be here -- but also understand you'll have your own private studio, kitchenette, bathroom, deck and entrance as shown in the photos. You probably won't see me unless you need me, and I give guests privacy. I figure that's why you're here in the mountains in the first place! Rest is so important after a day hiking around Rocky Mountain National Park! Sleep soundly on a Serta queen mattress and a super comfortable 3-inch memory foam topper. The bed is the third most loved aspect of my unit, aside from the view and hot tub. The front living area has a futon sofa that can be converted to a full size bed, so the unit can accommodate 3 or 4 people. There is an extra per person fee for more than 2 people. There is little better in life than sitting in this cozy space (or on the deck!) after a great day in Rocky Mountain National Park, and watching deer and elk graze nearby. If you're lucky you'll spot the neighborhood bobcat, badger, or raccoon family. This rental is situated a fantastic rural neighborhood on the slopes of Prospect Mountain. The house has unobstructed views because of its elevation. Due to the topography, the house is very isolated and private -- you can't see neighbors and they can't see you. Recurring comments from guests include the great views, the privacy, the deck, the hot tub, the uncluttered and open space, and the fact that you can watch the sun rise over the mountains from bed if you're so inclined. You'll be well equipped to do your own cooking while you visit: the kitchenette features a fridge and freezer, a two burner cooktop, toaster, stainless steel pots/pans, dishes and cutlery, water boiler, and more. Please see the photos for more details. There is no oven. The deck is perfect for lounging and enjoying the view and relaxing. It features two big chaise lounges. The deck's railing has a thick piece of wood on top, and guests often use that as a table top and sit on bar stools and watch the sunset and eat dinner. This unit does not feature a television, but there is speedy WiFi if you want to stream Netflix to your computer or tablet. If you want to fish, Marys Lake is 1/4 mile away. There's even a beach for sunbathing. If you like rock climbing, there are boulders from V0 to V10, trad routes from 5.5 to 5.12, and sport routes from 5.7 to 5.13 on Prospect Mountain, all of which are 15-20 minutes by foot from the front door. There's also a great hiking trail that goes to the top of Prospect Mountain (the trailhead is 5 minutes by foot from the house), and once there you'll have one of the best views of Estes Park around, with a full panorama of the Continental Divide and Estes Valley. The entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is about 7 minutes via car. As you can see in the photos, you do need to walk down several flights of steps to get to the unit. Be prepared for this! Overall, this studio is a great base for outdoor lovers who want peace and quiet and want to experience all the wonders of Estes Park and the Rocky Mountains.
This is a wonderful neighborhood in one of the more rural parts of Estes Park. We are only a few miles from downtown, but things are quiet here! The home is nestled in a huge ravine on the slope of Prospect Mountain, so you can't see the neighbors homes. It feels pretty secluded. You can actually hike out the front door and in about 45 minutes be at the top of Prospect Mountain, which has one of the most incredible views in all of Estes Park! You can see the entire national park and the continental divide in a giant panorama. The home is also about a quarter of a mile from Marys Lake, where you can fish. I love this area and am grateful to live here. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD IN YOUR CAR. Local bears have been known to get a little curious.

Soothe your soul in a hot tub above downtown while staring into Rocky Mountain National Park after a long day of hiking (STR#3126)! You'll love my historic cabin, built in the late 1800s but modernized for your comfort. Its cozy 540 square feet provide great views, a full kitchen & bathroom, fireplace, inviting and warm bedroom, and a deck overlooking Lumpy Ridge. + Walk to downtown and the Stanley Hotel + 8 minute drive to the park A perfect base for up to 4 people for a mountain getaway!
NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. My cabin rests on a hillside above downtown in a small neighborhood of other historic cabins. This was one of the original neighborhoods when people first settled in the Estes Valley. The place predates most other buildings in the area, but it's been lovingly cared for and is in great shape. I love being able to walk to town from here, but still come home afterward and sit in the hot tub. Afterwards, I enjoy lounging on the sofa and just relaxing in front of the fireplace. There are other cabins close by, so if you are looking for total seclusion this isn't your best bet -- but there aren't many vacation rentals out there offering the great combination of views, a hot tub, fireplace, deck, full kitchen, and the ability to walk to town. ⛰️ BEDROOMS ⛰️ My home offers 1 bedroom, plus sleeping for two more on two Ikea ottomans that convert to single beds. Bedroom 1 - A comfortable mattress will ensure a good night sleep after a long day of hiking. It's a cozy space with wood paneled walls throughout, and north facing windows so you can watch the sun light up Lumpy Ridge as you wake up. ⛰️ LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT ⛰️ Living Room - There's a spacious dining room table and a comfy couch to lounge in while you stream your favorite Netflix series on the speedy WiFi. Feel free to fire up the fireplace -- it's electric but offers a great ambiance as the flames flicker on the cozy wood walls. Deck & Hot Tub - We have a small deck with a grill off the front door overlooking Lumpy Ridge, a perfect spot for BBQ.. Our hot tub fits two comfortably but you could squeeze more in if necessary. It has a small fence around it for privacy from our neighors' cabins, but the northern side is open so you can watch the mountains. ⛰️ LAUNDRY & COOKING ⛰️ Kitchen - The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, small appliances, fridge, freezer, full size oven and stove, microwave, drop coffee maker, toaster, and more. You may not actually use it that much because you can walk to all the great restaurants in downtown! Laundry - We do offer a full size washer and dryer for you to use!
My cabin is located in a neighborhood of other historic cabins on a hillside just above downtown Estes Park. You can literally walk everywhere in town -- to the Stanley Hotel, Ed's Cantina, local coffee shops and restaurants, etc. Because it's on a hill, you have a great view of Lumpy Ridge to the north from the deck and hot tub.

Z przykrością wyjeżdżaliśmy i na pewno wrócimy, by tu zostać ponownie.

    Katie2020-01-15T00:00:00Z

Come stay in this newly remodeled 3-bedroom riverside cabin 2 blocks from the edge of downtown (STR #6089). Features a hot tub, gazebo and picnic area, and you can literally walk 40 feet from your bedroom to fish. Relax in the hot tub after a long day in the mountains & then enjoy the fireplace in the kitchen/dining area. Relax in a comfy reading chair chair, leather sofa, or giant bean bag. Perfect for couples or groups up to 6. New paint, carpet & 55" TV!
THE TOWN HAS SHUT DOWN SHORT TERM LODGING UNTIL 4/17! You can only rent between now and then for 30+ days (so we have 1, 2 and 3BR units available for monthly stays at reduced rates), and now to who are exempt, which includes those who work here (ie, travel nurses/healthcare); who are under quarantine with a note from county public health; who have symptoms; or who can demonstrate good cause to stay. Please inquire if you meet the requirements, or if you're interested in month to month options. NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. This beautiful, cozy cabin is located in the most perfect spot in Estes Park, literally on the edge of the Big Thompson River about a block and a half from the edge of downtown. The cabin features a huge, open living/dining area with lots of sunlight, a private hot tub, a gazebo with a BBQ for outdoor living, and a river with some fishing. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! Past guests have raved about this property: "We loved the hot tub, the stars, and sitting by the river after dark." "Nathan's beautiful cabin along the river was just amazing and we seemed so 'at home' there." "More spacious than it looks in pictures!" "It truly was a home away from home." "The hot tub is world class." "We loved sitting down by the river and grilling dinner each night!" When you're here, you can leave the car behind, avoid the traffic of downtown, and just walk a block and a half to the edge of downtown, where you'll find restaurants, bars and shops. At the same time, it's on a private side road with no traffic, allowing you to have all the benefit of being centrally located without having to deal with the congestion. Additionally, the National Park entrance is a quick 5 minute drive from the front door. This unit is meant for people seeking peace and tranquility; it is absolutely not a party house at all. Water Dance (the cabin’s name) is tastefully decorated with mountain and cabin-themed decor, complete with beautiful handmade Amish furniture. BEDROOMS This home has 3 separate bedrooms with 4 beds in total. Bedroom 1 - The master suite features a gorgeous, hand-made log bed with an Olympic queen mattress and private bathroom. Bedroom 2 - A queen bedroom with a slider door opening out toward the river. I love sleeping here on warm summer nights to hear the sounds of the river through the screen door. Bedroom 3 - Perfect for kids, featuring two twin beds. ★★★★★ PLEASE NOTE: The master bath has a tub but no shower ★★★★★ The kitchen is fully equipped with a blender, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, pots and pans, cutlery, silverware, baking supplies, and all the gadgets and utensils you can imagine. There's a great breakfast bar and a kitchen table. The open living space also features a huge couch you can sink into, as well as additional seating, all centered around a cozy gas fireplace. There's fast WiFi as well as a 55-inch 4K flat panel television in the living room with Sling, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and a host of other streaming television services. You can watch sports, news and movies to your heart's content. The outside area is shaded thanks to tons of mature trees. You will likely see deer or elk grazing on the grass. When summer arrives, all the plant foliage will grow thick, and you'll hear the leaves rustling all day in harmony with the breeze. Many of the town's top restaurants and attractions are all within a short walk: the Estes Park Brewery and Rock Cut Brewery, the China Garden restaurant, The Barrel bar, Sweet Basilico Restaurant (tasty Italian food with great pizza), and much more. In the same 2 block radius is a liquor store, a winery, a couple of food trucks (parked at Rock Cut -- sometimes you'll find fried chicken and other times you'll find a crepe truck). Be sure to walk to the gondola during the summers; it goes up Prospect Mountain and offers breathtaking views of the continental divide, the national park, and the entire Estes Park valley. The kids can walk a block to Fun City and enjoy the bumper boats and bumper cars, mini golf, a giant slide, a bungee trampoline, and go-cart racing. A half block away is the super fun aerial obstacle course of the Open Air Adventure Park. Some of these attractions are closed seasonally, so please check them out on the Internet. The free summer shuttle bus that goes all over town has a stop a half a block away, so you can board it and get around for free. The place is extremely family friendly, though it is on the edge of a river so be sure to supervise your kids, particular during the early summer when the snow starts to melt and the water level rises.
If you don't want to bother cooking, simply walk a half block to the best pizza/Italian (Sweet Basilico), brewery (Rock Cut), and chinese food (The China Garden) in the city. In the summers, the Two Chicks chicken food truck is often parked outside Rock Cut on the edge of the creek.

Travel back to 1914 in a vintage 2BR hillside cabin blocks from the Nat'l Park (STR #6190). Enjoy the sounds of the Big Thompson across the street or stare at the high peaks while BBQing on the wraparound deck. A king master bedroom & private fireplace ensures a restful sleep, along with the upstairs queen bedroom and lofted sleeping area. Elk, bear and wildlife abound. - Walk to fishing, Nat'l Park & Dunraven Inn - 7 min drive to the Park visitor center - 8 min drive to downtown
My home is perfectly situated blocks from the boundary of Rocky Mountain National Park and across the street from the bank of the Big Thompson River. It's is more than 100 years old, lovingly cared for and meticulously restored. Though it predates most buildings in the Estes Valley (and even the Town itself) it's in great shape and has been been fully modernized for your comfort. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! You can watch the sun rise over the mountains from bed, eat breakfast while elk and deer mill about, hike into the National Park (either Beaver Meadows or to the top of Eagle Cliff Mountain) from the front door, and come home and watch the stars over the high peaks as you BBQ on the deck and listen to the sound of the river. *** BEFORE CONTINUING, NOTE THE FOLLOWING *** 1) The master bedroom is on the first floor but you must climb the ladder to get to the lofted sleeping area and queen bedroom, where headroom is limited. 2) By booking, you are agreeing to the house and neighborhood rules at the bottom of the listing. You MUST read them, as this property is located in an HOA neighborhood containing other vacation homes nearby. 3) The home is a very useable 1,334 square feet but it may seem smaller due to the funky a-frame construction in the loft. 4) This is an old, old home!! The living room fireplace is original and does not burn efficiently. Wood logs, especially when wet, will smoke out the house. You may only burn Duraflame or equivalent woodchip/sawdust logs in the living room fireplace. You can burn regular logs in the bedroom fireplace. ****** Now, onward! I invite you to stay in my cozy cabin! You will love its warmth, cleanliness, retro feel and authentic mountain vibe. It's perfectly appointed with comfy furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen, a washer/dryer, and countless amenities so you can feel at home during your mountain getaway in Estes Park. Guests here have raved: "... The cabin is an absolute delight! The location couldn’t be any better." "... I travel the country frequently and have added this to my list of return trips." "... Absolutely beautiful place, in an amazing location. Can't wait to stay again!" "... In a nice location by the river and with great mountain views... looks exactly like the pictures posted!" "... Beautiful setting and amazing host." I spent a month giving my new cabin a facelift to create a quiet, relaxing sanctuary for your mountain retreat. Improvements include: + Updated lighting + Brand new smart TV + New, luxurious queen bed in the upstairs lofted bedroom + Twinkly, cozy lights throughout + A new smart TV with lots of streaming options, + Super fast WiFi with no dead zones You will enjoy two bedrooms, a full bathroom with toilet/shower/tub, a utility room with a washer/dryer and a shower, a living room with games, puzzles and a smart TV, a dining area with seating for 6, a vintage rock fireplace that will take you back in time, two screened in porches, and a big wrap-around deck with a picnic table and BBQ. My favorite feature is the wraparound deck, which offers a straight view of Hallet Peak glistening in the morning sunrise and glowing beneath the Milky Way at night. BEDROOMS My home offers 2 bedrooms plus sleeping for two more in the loft above the living room. Bedroom 1 - A massive master bedroom with a sofa, huge king bed, reading chair, interesting bookshelf, and mid-century modern fireplace. My favorite part of this bedroom is that it opens directly onto the huge wrap-around deck. Bedroom 2 - A funky and cozy loft with an incredibly comfortable queen mattress, a small dormer to sit in and drink tea and read. If you like to get in touch with nature’s daily rhythms, sleep here and stare out the skylight above the bedroom. You can see the Milky Way from the warmth of your bed! Sleeping Area - The lofted sleeping area above the living room has two twin beds, both situated directly below skylights so you can stare up at the stars as you fall asleep. LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Deck - This is the hallmark of my home, and it's my favorite place to spend time. There’s a picnic table and BBQB there so you can relax, read, watch wildlife roaming around, stare at the mountains and stars, and just chill out and enjoy the peace and quiet. I promise that when the Milky Way rises, you’ll see more stars than most people ever have in their lives. You'll often feel like you're in a zoo; because the national park boundary is literally a few blocks away, herds of deer and elk are constantly roaming around. Living Room - You'll pass much of your time here, either on two super comfy recliners or on a luxuriously soft leather sofa in front of the fireplace. Twinkly lights overhead light up the space, and a cool vintage Edison-bulb chandelier puts off a cool old-school vibe. There is no drywall -- it's all warm, cozy and inviting wood. My own art adorns the walls and a smart television hangs above the fireplace, so you can stream pretty much anything you’d like with your friends and family. There’s a small library of puzzles and games for when you want to detach from technology. WiFi - I moved the home’s WiFi location to provide a centralized access point with no dead zones on the property. You’ll enjoy a strong 100Mbs connection for streaming, entertainment and work. LAUNDRY & COOKING Kitchen - The kitchen is fully stocked It features a big oven, a full sized fridge/freezer, a microwave, dishwasher, various small appliances, cutlery, dishes, utensils, bowls/pots/pans and virtually anything else you may need or want. It opens directly to the dining area so you can socialize as someone's cooking. Laundry - There's a small utility room with a washer and a dryer that you are free to use. Please do! I try to keep the detergent stocked but don't guarantee it, so it may be wise to bring a little of your own. It is a VERY cramped space, so be warned. You can also use a small second shower in there. ESTES PARK'S MANY AWARDS Estes has become sought after year-round destination over the last five years. In fact, a few years ago the town was named to more than 50 lists of Best, Favorite and Top Destinations. Here are a select few: - Best Mountain Town - Sunset Magazine - Top-Rated Vacation Destinations in North America - Expedia - America's Most Scenic Roads - Travel + Leisure Magazine - Top 20 Mountain Trips - Sunset Magazine - America's 15 Most Romantic Cities for Winter Travel - Trip Advisor - 10 U.S. Places To Travel Before They Get Famous - Huffington Post - The Ten Most Beautiful Towns in CO - TheCultureTrip.com - The Most Romantic Weekend Getaway in Every State - Thrillist.com - 50 Small Towns Across America with the Most Beautiful Fall Foliage - Country Living - The 15 Most Beautiful Spots in CO - TheCrazyTourist.com - Best Towns in Colorado - Niche - Top 10 Adult Spring Break Destinations in America Revealed - World Property Journal Here's what National Geographic Magazine wrote out our little slice of paradise: "Rising up along the Continental Divide, Rocky Mountain National Park is a natural overachiever, with 77 mountains above 12,000 feet—including 14,259-foot Longs Peak—and a span of alpine tundra. Snow-packed granite peaks tower over a calm of ponderosa pines, which ease toward meadow and meandering stream—four ecosystems within one park. It’d be simple to cover them all on a drive along scenic Trail Ridge Road, but why not channel Enos Mills and hike some of the 355 miles of trails instead? You might hear elk bugling or spy otters swimming among lily pads."
My historic cabin is along Highway 66 only a few short minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It's a quiet area that sees little traffic, and the park boundary is a few blocks away. Additionally the property backs up to a nature easement. This means that elk, coyotes, bobcats, foxes, bears, raccoons, hummingbirds, and mule deer frequently pass by. The Big Thompson River across the street can be fished once you get a permit from the state (available at local outfitters, etc). The Dunraven Inn, one of the town's best restaurants, is 2 blocks away at the entry to my neighborhood. VERY IMPORTANT: My place is in a small development for vacation homes, so there are a few rules that you are agreeing to when you book my place -- and they apply to my entire neighborhood, not just my house: - No smoking ANYWHERE AT ALL in the neighborhood or inside or around my house. - 15mph on all roads once you enter the neighborhood. - Quiet hours from 9pm to 9am. That means no parties or noisy socializing on the deck. - No RVs, ATVs, motorhomes, campers or motorcycles - No open fires - No pets - There is a wonderful playground for families about a block away in the neighborhood.

It's approximately 600 sq. ft. It is located in a cozy and quiet neighborhood, so it is not ideal for noisy travelers looking to party. We love hosting our guests and everyone always says they are very comfortable and cozy. The entire property, home and grounds are smoke free, this includes marijuana. Thank you. Kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, hot plate, toaster oven, Keurig, coffee, tea, utensils, plates, bowls, and cups. About 35 minutes to Boulder and Fort Collins. About 50 minutes to Denver and Estes Park.
Both Brick Oven Pizza and Berthoud Pizza Company are a couple miles away, as is King Soopers Grocery, a few coffee shops, Trailhead Cafe, Berthoud Brewery has great beer and food.

Walk into the Nat'l Park from this 1750 sq-ft cabin with wraparound deck and mountain views of Longs Peak (STR# 6028). Enjoy an enormous yard and rec pavillion, play games & watch movies, chill in front of a fire, or relax on new furnishings. Elk, deer, bears and wildlife abound here as we are 1/4 mile from the Park boundary. Walk into National Park & The Rock Inn Tavern 2 min drive to the Park visitor center 2 min drive to town Enjoy a private panoramic view for your next vacation!
My home is perfectly situated only a few hundred yards from the boundary of Rocky Mountain National Park. You can watch the sun rise over the mountains from bed, eat breakfast while elk and deer mill about, hike into RMNP from the front door, and come home and watch the stars over the high peaks from the deck. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! I invite you to stay in my gorgeous cozy cabin! You will love its warmth, cleanliness and authentic mountain feel. It's perfectly appointed with new, comfy furnishings as well as countless amenities so you can feel at home during your mountain getaway in Estes Park. My guests here have raved: "... This is an exceptional home with all the amenities you will need." "... Quiet location and we had deer to view on a regular basis." "... It was immaculate and clean, nicely decorated, and so comfortable during our stay!" "... The view are just awesome!" "... Remote enough that it is dark at night and can see so many stars!" I spent two months giving it a complete facelift to create a quiet, relaxing sanctuary for your mountain retreat. Improvements include: + Fresh paint throughout + Comfy modern couch, tables and chairs + New carpeting in the bedrooms + Incredible reading chairs and lamps + Twinkly, cozy lights + A variety of beds (soft, medium and firm) for a great rest. + A 55” smart TV with lots of streaming options, + Super fast WiFi with no dead zones You will enjoy 3 bedrooms each with its own private bath, a living room with games, puzzles and a smart 55" TV, a dining room with seating for 8, an antique wood burning stove that will take you back in time, and an outdoor rec pavillion with a ping pong table. My favorite feature is the huge wraparound deck, offering a straight view of Longs Peak glistening in the morning sunrise and glowing beneath the Milky Way at night. BEDROOMS My home offers 3 bedrooms, each with an attached private bathroom, plus sleeping for two more on sofa beds in the living room. Bedroom 1 - The smaller main floor bedroom has the softer mattress of all three beds in the house, plus an attached 3/4 bathroom with toilet, sink and shower (no tub). I hand made a headboard out of reclaimed pine and added a floor to ceiling armoir for storage that has a cool cork door. My favorite part of this bedroom is that it opens directly onto the gorgeous porch. Bedroom 2 - This is one of the two master bedrooms. It’s the eastern one at the top of the stairs and is the largest. It offers a chest of drawers, a medium firm bed, full blackout shades for a great night sleep, twinkly lights above the bed for ambiance, and a reading nook with a super comfy chair that gets all day sun. If you like to get in touch with nature’s daily rhythms, sleep here with the shades open and watch the sun rise as it lights up the nearby mountains. You can see the whole show from the warmth of your bed. Bedroom 3 - The second master bedroom at the top of the stairs on the west side of the home. It has the firmest bed (my favorite), but is otherwise a near mirror image of the other master bedroom. It’s got full blackout shades, unique pendant lighting, and a full bathroom. If you’re into sleeping in, this may be your favorite. Pull down the blinds and you’ll be in a cocoon until noon. Bedroom 4 - Not really a bedroom, but the living room has two ottomans with pull out beds. If you push them together, you get a queen for the largest groups. Spare linens for it are in the dining room hutch. LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Deck - This is the hallmark of my home, and it's my favorite place to spend time. There’s a ton of seating out there, so you can relax, read, watch wildlife roaming around, stare at the mountains and stars, and just chill out and enjoy the peace and quiet. I moved all the home’s old sofas onto the deck so you can laze about. I promise that when the Milky Way rises, you’ll see more stars than most people ever have in their lives. The deck has two outdoor dining tables for breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and they are great card, game and puzzle tables. You'll often feel like you're in a zoo; because the national park boundary is literally two properties away, herds of deer and elk are constantly roaming around. Living Room - If it’s cold or windy, come on into the spacious and cozy living room, which has a huge window offering the same views as you’d get from the deck. I installed a 55” smart television on a floating stand I made of reclaimed wood, so you can stream pretty much anything you’d like with your friends and family. There’s a small library with books you can read or take with you (if you take one, please leave one behind), as well as dozens of puzzles and games for when you want to detach from technology. Two doors open from the living room onto the massive deck. Dining Room - The dining room will become one of the central gathering points for your friends and family. It features a brand new birch table, seating for 8 on benches and stools, log cabin wood trim on the walls, and an antique wood burning fireplace for chilly winter nights. All combined, the mix of pine, acacia and birch wood gives you a very natural feel, and the cozy wood fireplace completes the scene. A massive door swings open onto the deck from here too. WiFi - I moved the home’s WiFi location to provide a centralized access point with no dead zones on the property. You’ll enjoy a strong 100Mbs connection for streaming, entertainment and work. REC PAVILLION - One of the most fun parts of the house is a giant recreation pavillion with a great view, open walls, Christmas lights dangling from the ceiling, and a ping pong table! This is the greatest post hike activity, aside from simply relaxing on the porch. LAUNDRY & COOKING Kitchen - The kitchen is a chef's dream! It features two ovens, a full sized fridge/freezer, a microwave, dishwasher, a large island, lots of small appliances, cutlery, dishes, utensils, bowls/pots/pans and virtually anything else you may need or want. The island also features three bar stools so people can hang out and socialize. Laundry - There's a laundry room with a washer and a dryer that you are free to use. Please do! I try to keep the detergent stocked but don't guarantee it, so it may be wise to bring a little of your own.
The Hill House is along Highway 66 only a few short minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It's a quiet area that sees little traffic, and the park boundary is within a quarter of a mile. This means elk, coyotes, foxes, bears, raccoons, hummingbirds, and mule deer frequently pass by.

Walk a few hundred yards into the Nat'l Park from my cozy, contemporary space influenced by my Norwegian roots (STR #6184). A 44" 4K TV, full kitchen, queen bed, private bath, and big deck will ensure a great getaway. My house basically abuts the park, so you'll see lots of wildlife as you sip your coffee! + Walk into RMNP & The Rock Inn Tavern + 2 min drive to the Park visitor center + 5 min drive to town Enjoy a tiny home with great amenities for your next vacation!
Thanks for checking out the north apartment in my duplex, perfectly situated just footsteps away from the boundary of Rocky Mountain National Park. You will love its cleanliness and modern, cozy feel inspired by my Norwegian roots. It's well appointed with a new kitchen, living room, TV, sofa, bed, carpet and more, and the fully equipped kitchen will allow you to feel at home during your Estes Park vacation. Note that winter tires, chains or 4WD/AWD are highly recommended in Estes Park from October to May. If you arrive in an inadequate vehicle during a winter storm and can't make it the last few hundred feet to the home, you'll need to ferry your stuff by hand and then park in our other home two blocks away and walk back. This sort of weather happens a few times a year. People who have stayed at my 425 square-foot rental have raved: "...Great place to rest your head after a long hike." "... Cute, modern cabin that is perfect distance from the National Park and town." "... Nice deck and at the top of the hill, so it felt like a true retreat." "... Rannveig was very accommodating and quickly responded!" I spent nearly three months during the winter of 2019 working to create a quiet and relaxing sanctuary for your mountain retreat. Improvements include: + Fresh paint throughout + Comfy modern couch + New carpeting in the bedroom + Twinkly, cozy lights + A brand new queen mattress for a great rest. + A 44” smart TV with lots of streaming options, + Super fast WiFi with no dead zones My favorite feature is the vaulted living room ceiling, making the tiny space feel quite big. I also love the large deck, which is surrounded by mountains. ***** FOUR IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES ***** This is a duplex, and both sides are short term rentals. The only shared space, however, is the driveway. The wall separating the units is sound insulated, but please be respectful and don't make a ton of noise. This 1940s cabin has been itching for a facelift for many years. While the inside is completely brand new (with the exception of the tub and stove), I plan to totally repaint the exterior soon, when weather allows. There are other rental units nearby in my historic cabin neighborhood. If you are looking for complete seclusion and and isolation in the woods, this isn't your best bet. Last, check in is 4PM and check out is 10AM. I cannot accommodate early check ins and late check outs due to my cleaners' schedule. It's a super tiny mountain town and the cleaners are slammed and there just aren't other people to clean. I'm sorry about that! BEDROOMS My home offers 1 bedrooms with its own private bathroom, plus sleeping for two more on a living room sofa bed. Bedroom 1 - A comfortable memory-foam mattress will ensure a good night sleep after a long day of hiking. Attached is a large closet for your gear, plus a full bathroom complete with shower/tub, original wood siding from the 1940s, and a brand new toilet, vanity and medicine chest. Blackout shades ensure privacy and a sound night's rest, but if you like to wake up with the sunrise, you can leave them up and close the sheer curtains and watch the room light up in the mornings. Bedroom 1 - Not really a bedroom, but the living couch turns into a full size bed that can comfortable accomodate two. A spare set of sheets and blankets is in the chaise part of the couch, which flips up. LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Living Room -There's a brand new 44" 4K smart television with Roku. Come on in and log into your favorite streaming service. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sling, Hulu, etc. WiFi - My home employs a mesh WiFi network with no dead zones. A strong 100Mbps connection will allow you to stream and work without any issues. LAUNDRY & COOKING Kitchen - The galley kitchen has everything you need to cook, despite it being so small. There's a full stove and oven, fridge and freezer, and assortment of pots and pans. My brand new knives are sharp (dull knives are a pet peeve!). There are cutting boards, wine glasses, coffee mugs, and a french press so you can get your caffeine fix before you enjoy the park. Laundry - My tiny space features a full size washer and dryer that you are free to use.
My neighborhood has about 30 historic vacation cabins. There are other buildings nearby so if you are looking for total isolation and wilderness seclusion, another home may be better for you. That said, the location can't be beat. You can hike out your door and straight into the National Park. The top of Eagle Cliff Mountain, which my home sites on the side of, has one of the best views in all of Estes Park. Standing atop it afford an unobstructed view of Beaver Meadows and all the high peaks along the Continental Divide. An unofficial trailhead is about 3 minutes from the door. You'll be on the west side of Estes Park, so you don't have to brave downtown traffic to get into the National Park. Driving into the center of town is a short 7 minute journey, and the closest grocery store is 5 minutes away.

Enjoy the best of two worlds with a mountain view deck area! This vacation rental is located just 10 miles from Downtown Fort Collins, and eleven miles from the Colorado State University Campus but is also just 1 mile from the turn off to The Cache la Poudre River Canyon / Roosevelt National Forest and is close to Lorie State Park on Horse Tooth Reservoir.Dow
This vacation rental sits on the side of a mountain that over looks The Cache la Poudre River Valley and The Front Range Mountains. It has world-class bird watching and you can often see eagles and hawks flying over Lake Watson and sometimes soaring right above the deck as well as hundreds of other species that either migrate through or nest in the trees on the property. The place is of rustic, mountain style décor and construction. Almost everything is made from local rocky mountain pine trees. The place is always in good shape and has a cleaning service. Kitchen and bathroom fixtures are a little bit out dated but in good working order.
The Cache la Poudre River Canyon is truly a hidden treasure, with majestic cliffs and intriguing rock formations enveloped in ponderosa and lodge pole pines and aspen. It is famous for it’s river rafting, back country skiing, hiking trails with spectacular views of The Rocky Mountains, canyons and river valley meadows, fishing, designated wild life viewing areas for unique animals like big horn sheep / rams and is also a great place to simply take an incredibly scenic drive and stop for lunch or dinner at a restaurant if you are only here for a short while. You can watch the rams while you are eating. Downtown Fort Collins is a scenic area called Old Town that is rich in history. It is comprised of old western, false front style, stone and brick buildings with a bricked in street that provides for a pedestrian mall. It is home to numerous, wonderfully unique non-chain restaurants, all kinds of shopping, arts and crafts, world famous independent beer breweries, music and art festivals, the beer bike tour and more!

There are many walking trails right outside our home with fishing, boating and horseback riding within 10 minutes. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from our new 2 sides wraparound decking and grill burgers for dinner after hiking. We have spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains in a quiet setting. Up to 10 people can be accommodated and the whole house is yours for your entire stay. We have 3 queen-sized beds and 4 twin beds (two trundles) to make your stay comfortable. We have a hot tub on the back covered patio of our home with 33 massage jets for guests to enjoy. It seats 7 people and is excellent to soothe your muscles after a great hike in Rocky Mountain National Park.
NOTICE TO GUESTS: We care about the health and well-being of all our guests. We want to assure you, our valued guests, that we are doing our part in keeping you and family/group safe. Our housekeeping staff take extra care and time to make sure that proper disinfection of our home is done after each and every check out. We are using bleach and lysol to disinfect surfaces. All cleaning staff must be healthy before going to our vacation home. These health safety measures are in place to minimize the risk of spreading germs and make our guests feel comfortable that they are coming into and staying in a very clean home, which was prepared for them with much care. FREQUENTLY ASKED BOOKING QUESTIONS: 1.) What will I be paying? The total amount of your stay including Airbnb booking fees of 6% to 12%, cleaning fees, taxes of 5.5% ( county sales tax and local marketing district tax) , maintenance of the spa, one time snow plowing, utilities etc are shown when you enter your booking days and the CORRECT NUMBER OF GUESTS. That is the amount that will be charged to your credit card by Airbnb. Follow the simple booking steps and make your booking using your credit card. 2.) Is my money safe? Yes it is. Airbnb holds the amount charged until 24 hrs AFTER you check in. We get paid 24 hrs after you check in. This ensures that you are checking in to a decent accommodation before we get paid. 3.) What about the security deposit? The security deposit of $500 is held on your credit card as a damage insurance. The amount is NOT included in the amount owed for the reservation. The additional security deposit is held SEPARATELY on your credit card just as when you check into a hotel or rent a car. That amount is voided 48 hrs after you check out and no damage has been reported by us to Airbnb. 4.) I would like to pay a reduced down payment to make my reservation. You can choose the option of "pay less upfront" when making your payment on the Airbnb webpage. Your payment will then be split into two equal payments by Airbnb. This is not a discount but it splits your payments into 2 easier payments. 5.) Why am I paying a slightly higher amount than the nightly rate. Because the additional fees are the Airbnb booking fees, taxes and cleaning fees paid for a professional cleaning crew. Your entire breakdown is shown clearly on your Airbnb webpage of your computer screen or cellphone screen. 6.) What about your cancellation policy? We have a strict cancellation policy. You have 48 hours after you make your booking to cancel and get a full refund. After that you will get a 50% refund up until 1 week before your scheduled arrival date less the Airbnb booking fees. If it's less than a week, you will not get any refund. However, we do understand that unforeseen circumstances do arise, and therefore, we will allow you to reuse your money for another date within a year of your original scheduled arrival date at the price for the specific dates requested provided we are able to book your dates with other guests. So we ask that you please be 100% sure before making your booking. In the unlikely event that you have to reschedule your visit, we ask that you please inform us immediately to give us enough time to rebook our home. You can make only a single change in case you have to change your scheduled arrival date within a 12-month period. You also have 48 hours after making your booking to cancel your reservation without any penalty. 7.) Why do I see a larger amount being charged for the reservation? The full total amount due includes the Airbnb booking fees which varies between 4% to 12% of the reservation amount. The lower percentage is for larger amounts and the higher percentage is for smaller amounts as already explained clearly on the Airbnb website. 8.) Is there a charge for extra people? Yes, there is. You are not charged for up to a total of 2 guests. Any additional guests above 2 people will be charged an additional $25 per person, per night. The amount owed will show on your screen when you enter the correct number of people along with the dates requested. After renting for more than 8 years, we realize that invited day guests visiting you like the home very much and enjoy your company so much that they inevitably end up spending several nights at the house. So for this added reason we recommend you declare the total number of guests right from the start and pay up front to avoid any uncomfortable situation. Extra guests means our housekeeping staff have to prepare the entire house accordingly for the extra number of guests with extra bedrooms being opened and prepared, extra beddings and supplies. This therefore adds to the amount of work done and amenities provided for the comfort of our guests. And so, for the above extra work needed in preparation of the house, we will NOT allow alterations to decrease the number of expected guests within 72 hours of your scheduled arrival date and definitely no decrease in the guest count once you have checked in or during your stay. Our neighbors have direct views of our home and they do a head count when we are not around and inform us as to the total number of people in the house. We have also installed cameras with infrared detection to monitor the house from all entrances to the house in order to prevent any misunderstanding as to how many people are checking in and preventing people from abusing the system and misinforming us as to the total number of guests checking in. 99% of our guests are honest and decent people. However we do this for the 1% who may try and abuse the system. 9.) Is there a limit as to how many people can stay? Yes. A maximum of 10 guests are allowed per City and County vacation home rental rules and fire department and safety rules. Any person who breaks this rule will be subject to eviction and will forfeit all monies paid and will be liable for any fines imposed by the county and homeowners association. 10.) Is your home accessible in winter? Yes. This is a log HOME and NOT a cabin. It is built for 24/7 living in all seasons of solid full logs and completely insulated with heating, cooling and all water and sewer hook ups to the City of Estes Park. A paved road leads to our home and a concrete drive way leads up a small hill to the house. We are in a subdivision of Carriage Hills. 11.) Do I need a 4-wheel drive in winter? Yes. The Department of Public Safety recommends a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive in winter for safe driving in the snow during winter from November to April and sometimes in early May for the occasional late snow showers. You may have difficulty driving up our driveway or in the mountains if you come in a 2-wheel drive. PLEASE STAY INFORMED ABOUT THE WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR STAY IN ESTES PARK INCLUDING UPDATED AND RECENT ROAD CLOSURES OR REPAIRS and plan accordingly especially regarding the use of a 4WD vehicle in case of unexpected snow fall. 12.) How much snow can I expect? It starts snowing in Estes Park usually by late November till late April. Occasionally we get earlier snow showers in early November and late snow showers up till early May, but it usually melts within 24 to 48 hrs. Several feet of snow can be expected as accumulation from January till late April. 13.) Can I ski and build a snow man? Yes. You should be able to build a snow man by Xmas all the way through the end of April. You can cross country ski in the Rocky Mountain National Park from January till April. The amount of snow we get is usually less than high country areas so always be ready for the unexpected as weather is highly unpredictable. If you are unable to ski or go snow sledding or tubing down the parks hills, there are many other things you can do to enjoy yourself in this stunning environment! El Dora ski resort is a beautiful 45 minutes drive from our home . 14.) What about the sleeping arrangements? There are 4 bedrooms / sleeping areas in the house. The 1st is the loft above the main level living room area that looks out at the mountains. It has a queen-sized bed and an enclosed trundle with two twin-sized beds which is set up depending on the total guest count. It has its own full bathroom upstairs. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are next to the main living room area and each bedroom has a queen-sized bed in it. These bedrooms share a full bathroom with two sinks, over-sized shower and Jacuzzi tub. The small 4th basement bedroom also has 2 twin-sized beds in it in a trundle. The downstairs bedroom has access to a small full bathroom through the door going into the garage. So we have 3 queen-sized bed and 4 twin-sized/single beds in all. The laundry room downstairs has a massage chair. The laundry room CANNOT be used to sleep in as a bedroom as this room has NO EGRESS window in the event of an emergency! THE TRUNDLE BED AND BEDROOMS ARE OPENED DEPENDING ON THE TOTAL GUEST COUNT. 15.) What activities are there to do in winter, spring summer and fall? The greatest tool to explore these questions are your computer. If you do an internet search for the above questions for a particular season you will get numerous answers to your questions that tells you all the numerous activities you can do in beautiful Estes Park as an adult, as a family or as a thrill seeker. You can accordingly plan your trip to suit your desire. There is fishing within less than 2 miles from our home at Lake Estes. There is fishing in the big Thompson river less than 5 miles from our home. 16.) Can I book less than a 3 night stay? Yes you can ONLY IF the calendar shows fewer than 3 nights available between already scheduled bookings. Otherwise we cannot accept fewer than 3 nights in Winter and 3 nights in Spring, Summer and Fall/Autumn due to the overhead costs involved. 17.) What if I wish to add a few guests for only a few nights of my entire stay? We will charge your extra guests for the ENTIRE stay. It becomes too difficult for our caretaker and neighbor to try and do a daily count of the guests. So we have a simple rule of charging the highest guest count for the entire stay. The house is prepared for the highest guest count and is cleaned once at the start and the end of your stay. We don't want to review every minute of what our outside cameras are recording as to how many guests stayed for how many nights. The cameras give us the highest guest count of people entering and leaving the house. After renting for more than 8 years, we realize that invited day guests visiting you like the home very much and enjoy your company so much that they inevitably end up spending several nights at the house. So for this added reason we recommend you declare the total number of guests right from the start and pay up front to avoid any uncomfortable situation. 18.) I see different rates when I put in my booking dates? The rate you see for those particular dates are accurate. The rates vary from weekday rates to weekend rates which are higher. The summer rates are higher compared to winter and spring rates. Holiday rates are also higher. The Airbnb website will show you the lowest nightly rate, but that doesn't mean you will get that rate as our rates are based on the pricing as stated above. We do NOT control the Airbnb app or their computer system. 19.) On rare occasions we get asked about bed bugs, mites or mosquito bites. Per the EPA or Environmental Protection Agency, all of these are present all across the United States and they are "excellent hitch hikers." We take every SAFE measures recommended by the EPA to prevent any of these bugs being in our home. We treat all beds and furniture with ultraviolet light after every check out. We wash every bed linen for 30 minutes with high heat and then dry them in the dryer for 30 minutes under the highest heat setting. This eliminates any bugs. We will NOT refund any money in the extremely unlikely event that we are told that you were bitten by bugs or mosquitoes. We do appreciate being informed of any such incidents and we actively continue to prevent any such incidents per the recommendations of the EPA. We also use EPA recommended bug spray to spray the entire inside and immediate surroundings of the house with bug spray every 3 months when we have no guests in the house for a period of 48 hours. If you have been bitten by bugs, we recommend you wash and dry the entire contents of your suitcases, bags, handbags and personal items under high heat for a minimum of 30 minutes to prevent spread and refer to the EPA standards for treatment and prevention on their website. 20.) My plans may change and I may have to cancel my trip, but I do not want to lose money. We recommend you buy travel insurance if you wish to insure that you do not wish to lose money. 21.) I need housekeeping issues taken care of. Please message me on the Airbnb webpage and TEXT MESSAGE me on my cellphone the same day of your check in and also call our housekeeper, in case there is a delay in getting back to you. Her phone number is listed on the laminated stand welcoming you to our home. We will take care of any issues you may have the same evening or the next morning. 22.) Where is the airconditioner? It is located above the loft bed. The remote control to the AC is attached to the wall next to the loft bathroom. It is very quiet and cools the entire loft, main level and bedrooms on the main level if you keep the bedroom doors open. With higher temperatures seen during the summer months of June till the first week of September reaching up to 94 degrees Fahrenheit or nearly 32 degrees Celsius, the airconditioner is a true blessing to enjoy those hot days! 23.) Do I need to inform you about normal wear and tear of the house? There is NO need to list what is considered "normal wear and tear" of the house. Remember that this is NOT a brand new home. So just as you rent a used car, you will expect normal wear and tear of the house. Let me know if there is something broken or making you feel uncomfortable. I will send Frank, our handyman to fix the issue. 24.) There are no bright lights. In accordance with City of Estes Park regulations all bright patio and deck lights have been removed so they do not bother the neighbors. Only down facing entry lights are allowed by the front door. If you need to walk outside after dark, please use a flashlight, be careful and do so at your own risk. Kindly TURN OFF all outside deck or driveway lights before sleeping at night. 25.) Is there UBER service? There is ONLY Uber service from Denver International airport to Estes Park back and forth. It's quite expensive. There IS NO LOCAL UBER SERVICE. So you will need your own car or a much less expensive rental car from Denver International airport. 26.) How far are you from Downtown Estes Park? We are in the city limits of the Village of Estes Park. We are only a very easy 10 minutes drive from our log home to downtown or 5 miles. 27.) How far are you from Rocky Mountain National Park? Estes Park is the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. Our log home is only a 10 to 15 minutes drive to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. 28.) How far are you from Denver International Airport? We are a beautiful 90 minutes drive from the airport or about 75 miles. Driving distance to Boulder is 39 miles or 45 minutes. To Ft. Collins it's 40 miles or 60 minutes. To Loveland 32 miles or 45 minutes. To Longmont 30 miles or 30 minutes. All drives are beautiful as you drive through the Rocky Mountains and along side rivers. 29.) Why do I need to complete and sign the Docusign information? This information includes important information about how our log home works. It is sent to your personal email address so you can understand how our home works to make for a pleasant stay. Your email address is never shared with anyone and will never be used by us for any other purposes except for our personal communication, if necessary. The Airbnb email is not compatible with the Docusign information, therefore we send this information to your personal email. 30.) Do you have outdoor seating on the deck? Yes we have 6 seats outdoors and an additional 6 folding chairs inside that can be used on the deck to enjoy the spectacular views. 31.) PARKING ALERT : THERE IS NO OFF STREET PARKING OR PARKING ALLOWED ON THE SIDE OF THE MAIN ROAD. You must park on the big concrete driveway in the front of our home. A friendly reminder that I will go over again the day prior to your check in: NO MORE THAN THREE (3) CARS ARE ALLOWED TO BE PARKED IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE AT ANYTIME INCLUDING TEMPORARY CARS as required by the City of Estes Park vacation rental rules otherwise there is a $300 FINE which will be withheld from your security deposit. Therefore, any temporary delivery cars, friends visiting or stopping by to say hello, guests stopping by for lunch or dinner, cannot park in our driveway if their car will increase the number of cars to more than 3 cars. Thanks very much for your kind understanding and cooperation in helping us follow the City of Estes Park vacation rental rules!!! Our neighborhood is peaceful and avoids the tourist crowd of summer in the downtown area which is easily accessible. Watch the elks graze right by the house in the early mornings and late in the day. Watch the yellow and golden fall colors during the season. Safeway is a 10-15 minute drive from our home. We shop at it and they have the best fuel rates for the car. There is an inexpensive Redbox in the Safeway grocery store where we rent movies. There are beavers that reside in the creek along Fish Creek road that can be seen and photographed before sunset. Hike Bear Lake, Sprague Lake, and visit the Alluvial Fan waterfall in the Rocky Mountain National Park for spectacular photographs. Lily Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park is less than 10 minutes drive from our home. Drive up to Trail Ridge Pass in summer and have lunch near the skies. You can do a day trip starting in the morning all the way past Trail Ridge Pass to Grand Lake on the other side and you may spot some moose on the way. Shop and eat downtown at the many shops and eateries and have a picnic by the river in the park by the post office. Hike the trail around the lakes that you will see when coming into town-Lake Estes and along the river downtown. Do a boating trip on the lake. For those with young kids, use the children's playground at Stanley Park off Fish Creek Road. Enjoy the Spring season flowers. Get away from the heat of summer to cool mountain evenings needing a light jacket. Go white water rafting through the many companies that advertise online or do some horseback riding in the park or right near our home. Putt putt golf with the family in Estes Park by the river at 2 locations. Trout fish at Trout Haven in Estes Park and grill or broil the fish for dinner. Fly fish the Big Thompson River. Enjoy the spectacular July 4th fireworks over Estes Lake without excessive large city traffic by lazing on your chair or picnic blanket at Stanley Park. There is the farmers market every Thursday in summer at the Estes Park Fairgrounds from 8 am-12:30 pm. There are seasonal arts and crafts and food festivals that you can look up online. They have free concerts downtown in summer. Use the swimming pool at the Aquatic Center for a very small fee by Stanley Park. Watch the stars at night on the deck of the house and cuddle up under a blanket on our big deck or go to the observatory off Fish Creek Road by Stanley Park to see the far stars and planets. The Scottish/Irish Festival starts at the beginning of fall and enjoy the aspens turning gold and yellow in fall. That is when the elks start bugling and so always stay away from the elks at any time in the year as they are massive 500-700 lb wild animals. Winter brings the beautiful white snow that can be watched as Longs Peak, Mt. Meeker and the Twin Sisters accumulate snow for the holiday season. The holiday lights twinkle in the snow. Cuddle up by the fireplace and tell stories to each other while eating popcorn and drinking hot cocoa. Or you can relax in the hot tub for up to 7 people with 33 massage jets on the back patio of our home. Use the hot tub outdoors in the enclosed spa area (for privacy) or the Jacuzzi tub indoors after ice skating downtown or at the YMCA. Go sledding on the hills in the National Park with the family. You can snow shoe walk or cross country ski. If you wish to do some downhill skiing then drive about 45 minutes to the El Dora ski resort area in Nederland or the Boulder ski area. Estes Park is for all seasons and will create everlasting memories for you, your family and friends and we are happy to be part of your experience.

Best of The Mountains and Town Enjoy the best of two worlds with a view! This vacation rental is located just 10 miles from Downtown Fort Collins, and eleven miles from the Colorado State University Campus but is also just 1 mile from the turn off to The Cache la Poudre River Canyon / Roosevelt National Forest and is close to Lorie State Park on Horse Tooth Reservoir.
You can enjoy a verity of near by outdoor activities, zip down and enjoy all the attractions of Fort Collins or just stay here and relax. You can enjoy the view from the deck or from inside as there are large windows all the way across the front of the house. The Cache la Poudre River Canyon is truly a hidden treasure, with majestic cliffs and intriguing rock formations enveloped in ponderosa and lodge pole pines and aspen. It is famous for it’s river rafting, back country skiing, fishing, hiking trails, with spectacular views of The Rocky Mountains, canyons and river valley meadows, designated wild life viewing areas for unique animals like big horn sheep / rams and is also a great place to simply take an incredibly scenic drive and stop for lunch or dinner at a restaurant if you are only here for a short while. The place is of rustic, mountain style décor and construction. Almost everything is made from local rocky mountain pine trees. The place is always in good shape and has a cleaning service. Kitchen and bathroom fixtures are a little bit out dated but in good working order.
Zatrzymałbym się tu ponownie w mgnieniu oka i poleciłbym go każdemu.

Uczynił to łatwym i prostym procesem.

One mile to the new CSU stadium...easy to stay here and have a leisurely stroll to a football game. Don't let the size of this small room fool you. Just the right size for one person. Two bathrooms shared by the whole house. You must read and agree to all of the rules and additional information. Hint, hint I'll know if you've read them.
Cozy and comfortable. Very old fashioned bed, but new mattress and box springs. Egyptian cotton blanket, luxorius sheets and pillows. The home has two shared bathrooms.
We are really about four blocks from just about anything you would want in Fort Collins. We are very close to some commercial businesses , so there may be some noise and since College Ave is one block away, you can hear the traffic from there also, there is a train that runs through town several times a day...early mornings and night with horns sounding. So, if you want to hear crickets chirp this might not be right for you. Please note that the house is 120 years old...you may see the occasional mouse...old houses have lots of cracks and spaces. It's not for lack of cleanliness, it just happens.
  • Świetna jakość, świetna lokalizacja, miłe osobiste dodatki.

  • Doskonały!!!!!

  • Cindy to doskonała gospodyni! Taka niespodziewana i urocza niespodzianka. Z chęcią zatrzymałbym się u Cindy!

Perfectly located between Lyons and Estes Park, we offer a very comfortable queen bedroom, a private bath, sunrise views, a living room including a separate entrance in the lower level of our home as well as a TV with Chromecast, small refrigerator, coffee maker, electric kettle and accoutrement. There is also access to a shared deck with a wide open overlook on 8.5 secluded acres and a shared kitchen you may use.
NOTICE: The highway to Estes Park and RMNP from our home is CLOSED between Mar 9 and April 7. In order to get to Estes from our house during that time requires driving back to Lyons (8 miles) and taking Highway 7 around. Also, we require AWD or 4x4 vehicle during heavy snowfall thru April. Our home is a warm and friendly place off the beaten path - down a bumpy driveway and less than a mile of gravel road - but not far from the highway. There is more room than we need and we are happy to be able to share it with you. AWD or 4x4 is needed during snowstorms thru April. The view from our house is far and wide with not a single house in sight and includes plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the woods. We offer a comfortable queen bedroom with a private bathroom, living room and entrance in the lower level of our home. We live and hang in the upper levels (with the exception of the laundry room). For extra guests we can offer a mattress topper on the floor or there’s a small couch in the guest living room. Each morning we take in the sunrise from our east windows and deck. You don’t even have to leave the guest bedroom to see it! One child 10 years old and under is free as an extra guest. If you are booked on Sunday (in winter), you may ask to book Monday as well. Dogs are $25 a piece extra for the whole stay.
". . . .a quiet and peaceful mountain hamlet. Pinewood Springs, an unincorporated mountain community in the Rocky Mountains. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of Roosevelt National Forest. The National Forest offers many hiking trails, biking trails and hunting opportunities. Mountain biking is quite popular. Pinewood Springs is located along Colorado State Highway 36 between Lyons Colorado and Estes Park Colorado. It is 12 miles from Estes Park and 8 miles from Lyons. The entire area is a wildlife corridor for elk, deer, coyote, smaller animals and the occasional bear. Just 20 to 30 minutes away is all the big traditional shopping and malls in the neighboring towns of Longmont and Boulder. One hour away is Denver and Denver International Airport. Going 15 minutes west along Highway 36, you will find Estes Park, Colorado, Rocky Mountain National Park and the continental divide. Estes Park has 8000 permanent residents and offers several good restaurants, a super market, movie theaters, a robust art community, 2 golf courses, cross country skiing and of course more hiking and wild life. Be careful of the elk jams that materialize on the local roads. Just 8 miles down the road to Lyons, a wonderful community packed with great restaurants. The Little Thompson River runs through, Pinewood Springs, formerly known as Little Elk Meadows, and provides us with water almost year around." Tom Adams, local real estate agent.

Come enjoy the peace and quiet at our beautiful cabin which sits on 35 Acres. The home is well furnished and very comfortable. IT IS VERY REMOTE and well off the beaten path. The nearest convenience store is 30 minutes away. Nearest full grocery 45-1 hour. Only 45 minutes from Ft.Collins, Red Feather Lakes, Laramie and Cheyenne this cabin is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the beauty that unfolds in every direction.
All of the beds will be made up with fresh linens for your arrival. We have plenty of blankets and pillows. An accurate head count will ensure we place plenty of fresh towels in the bathroom. Our kitchen is well equipped. The nearest grocery store is 45 minutes away so stock up on food to avoid unwanted trips back into town. We also have a gas grill (propane provided) for outdoor grilling. There is a Kuerig and small coffee pot with filters available. Please bring your own coffee as none is provided. We have a DVD player with a wide selection of movies to enjoy. We also have a handful of games (skip-bo, phase 10, Yahtzee, Risk, and sequence). Stargazing is spectacular on clear nights and we have outdoor camping chairs on site. There is also a fire pit out near the green art studio. Grab chairs from the shed if you'd like to sit around the campfire. We have a soaking tub in the bathroom, it is an old claw foot tub and is stained from well water. We do clean the tub very well, however its age does show. Thanks for your understanding.
