Had an amazing time staying in the loft apartment. It's a lovely apartment, very well equipped and a great size. There was a lovely welcome pack with all the essentials and some chocolates which was a nice touch. The apartment was perfect for our girls weekend. Lili, the host, was very accommodating and helpful throughout the booking process and our stay. Would definitely recommend this apartment and Glasgow is a fantastic city with lots of things to do and explore. Thank you for a great weekend.

Communication and location are the foundations for great vacations and this reservation excelled at both. Liliana's communication and responsiveness to initial inquiries was quick and courteous. The central location and light, airy flat provided a welcoming experience. Proximity to the train station, restaurants, shopping, etc, yet quiet and clean rooms, was perfect!

Lili is one of the most hospitable people I have ever interacted with. The apartment was perfect for our trip to Glasgow. It was right in the middle of the city and was a close walk to everything that a tourist would need. She went out of her way to set us up with some snacks and drinks for the apartment. She had many suggestions on what to do in the areas and clearly loves the city. The apartment was impeccable and she supplied everything one might find in a hotel. Lili was very responsive and accommodating of our schedule. We are considering going back to Glasgow and this would be our first place to book. I should note that we never met Lili in person but instead one of her friends met us and got us situated in the apartment. He was incredibly helpful and just as inviting and friendly as Lili.

We were welcomed to the property and given a full tour. It easisly accomodated all of us. As always it is a lived in house with a few rough edges but you expect that however these were minimal and more signs of everydat wear and tear. The important things were plnty of hot water, 5 mins from the train station, a few mins from the bus and a short cab into town...lots of choice and slept 5 of us easily. Thank you.

Myself was the last to arrive but the handover went smoothly. The area was very quiet and there was no problem with traffic. Pity about the road race up by the park on the Sunday made getting the car back to the house interesting.

This is an adorable flat and Rupert is a lovely host. The flat is ideally located and easy to find. It is within walking distance to the bus/train stop, several cafes, bars and grocery stores, and is right beside the River Clyde. The guest bedroom is huge and the bed is very comfortable. There is lots of natural light in every room and good wifi! I would highly recommend staying with Rupert if you are in Glasgow :)

Vielen Dank Michi & Rahel

Neill is a gracious host, helpful and generous, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The flat is just as pictured, with all amenities for eating in, cooking if you want, a quiet bedroom in the back, full bath, TV and music options, WiFi-- all the comforts of home. The neighborhood is fine; never felt uncomfortable or like we had to be too careful. And the location can't be beat for convenience-- two nearby business districts with plenty of shops and restaurants, including the best ice cream in town; a big city park; and train and bus stops within a few short blocks. The large bay window that looks out on the street became one of my favorite views-- beautiful light and sky. Neill checked in with us during our stay to make sure all was going ok, and we knew we could contact him whenever if we needed anything. Otherwise he left us to get on with our holiday, which was nice and trusting. I would return to this lovely flat in future, no question, and rent from Neill again in a heartbeat. I fell in love with Glasgow, and owe at least part of that to how easy and delightful Neill and his flat made the whole trip.

Neill's flat was the perfect place to spend a rainy weekend in Glasgow. Everything was spotlessly clean and we appreciated all the homely little details like natural wooden interiors and Belfast sinks. We especially enjoyed the sound system for playing music in the living room and bedroom. Neill met me in the morning to explain everything and was extremely helpful.

Rowan Cottage (part of Finnich Cottages) provided a delightful 4-night stay in a cosy, clean and quiet environment ideal for that much needed break away from the city. The cottage has fabulous views and our host Marguerite was warm and welcoming and ensured that we had all that we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I cannot recommend this cottage and location highly enough and look forward to returning in the near future. The holiday cottages have been beautifully converted yet still retain an element of that old school charm. A real joy and a rural gem!!!

My place is close to parks, restaurants and dining, shopping and the city centre. You’ll love my place because of the super-king size comfy bed, the location, quietness, your own bathroom and a peaceful garden also only used by you. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Our house is located in one of the most popular area in Glasgow, sitting in a very quiet but convenient residential area. The neighbourhood is very safe, even has its own professional security guard, which most of the flats in Glasgow don't have. The room is fully furnished with a good size wardrobe, a cupboard for storage and a huge super-king size bed (180x200cm). The room also contains a desk with a drawer and a big 42” Plasma cable TV with many channels. The bathroom with shower/bathtub and toilet is directly next to your room and will be exclusively used by you. From your bedroom you have direct access to the garden (also only used by you). Your room is lockable, and you will be given your own key. The kitchen will be shared with us and is also fully equipped with a modern fridge, microwave with grill, gas cooker, dishwasher and dining table. You will have access to the internet and cable TV, our kitchen, washing machine, dryer, your own bathroom and the private garden. We will try our best to help during your stay. We supply a Glasgow map, a print out of our local guidebook. We will provide free tea/coffee/hot chocolate for the guests to enjoy anytime. The check-in & -out times are guidelines. We are usually quite flexible on those times, if you would like to arrive early, please get in touch and we will see if it is possible. In any case, you can drop luggage off and collect keys earlier if it suits you. After check out, we are happy to let you leave your luggage at our house for later collection if that helps. The house is located in a closed private residential area, therefore it is very quiet and free parking is also available in parking spaces. Superbly located this much sought after area allows easy access to Glasgow City Centre as well as motorways going either end of the City. Duke Street is within short walking distance offering a mixture of day to day shops, beauty salons, pubs and food outlets. Likewise, Glasgow City Centre is notoriously known for its colourful night life promoting a mixture of swanky bars, restaurants and cultured buildings. It is an approx. 20-25mins walk into the City Centre and an approx. 3-5 mins to the bus station, 10mins walk to Lidl, Tesco or train station. Additionally the next convenient shop, where you can buy some essentials is only 2 mins walk away. There are nice restaurants within 5 mins for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A fold able single bed is available for one additional guest.zobacz więcej

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 months and we really enjoyed it. The room is very nice and it is as shown in the pictures. The TV is even bigger than it seems. We also loved the house for the private bathroom which is unusual in many other houses on Airbnb. We arrived late for the check-in, but Andreas was really kind and he waited for us. He also gave us a booklet with all the information we needed (telephone numbers, wifi infos, suggestions,...), really well organized. The house is located whithin 30 minutes walking from the city centre, but it is well connected with public transports. Buses go to the city centre every 5-10 minutes. The nearest bus stop is a 5-minute walk from the house. At night, until 3 o' clock, there are also a few buses from the centre to go back home. In the area there are some supermarkets such as Lidl (the closest one, 8 min walking), Morrisons and Tesco (better to go by bus if you have many shopping bags). The hosts, Andreas and Jie, were really nice, friendly and and they helped us with everything we needed. We absolutely recommend this place! :)

Welcome to our lovely flat in the West End. We live in a traditional Glasgow tenement flat on a quiet residential street with beautiful shared gardens nearby. Convenient for West End attractions (Kelvingrove Park and Museum, University, Botanic Gardens, cafes/restaurants etc). 10-15 minutes walk to University and Byers Road shops/cafes/bars, 20-30 minutes walk to city centre. 3 minutes walk to frequent bus service to centre. Free on-street parking outside the flat. This is our home - we have been living here for the past 4 years and it is filled with all our things making it homely and inviting. It's a really spacious 2nd floor flat, with a big kitchen/diner and a large living space with traditional bay windows. Our bedroom is light and airy with a big (140x200cm), comfortable double bed. The bathroom is bright with a good powerful shower. There is a bright and spacious kitchen with dining table and fridge, freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave and washing machine (no dishwasher!). Because we still live here some of the time there are loads of utensils and things to cook with in the kitchen and we'll make sure there's always some shampoo, things to read, and milk in the fridge! We now also have a sofa bed in the lounge for extra guests or if you'd rather not share a bedroom! It's perfect for one and cosy but comfortable for two (113x170cm). Please let us know before arrival if you plan to use it so we can leave out bedding (we have a duvet, pillows and sheets for you to use). We now have a 32" LCD TV in the lounge for guests to use. When you are staying here you will have exclusive use of the whole flat and we want you to feel at home and treat our flat with care as we would :-). We will only interact with you to give you keys and show you how everything works. The space is then yours but one of us will always be nearby if you have any problems. Olivia is from Glasgow and Ross has lived here for 5 years so we both know the city well and can give advice about places to go/things to see or do/where to eat. We live in the West End of Glasgow, which is perfect for the cafe and shopping culture the West End is famous for. Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic Gardens are a ten minute walk away, the busy shopping street of Byres Road is a ten minute walk, and we live five minutes from Great Western Road. While famous for its shopping, cafes, and bars, the West End also has numerous museums such as Kelvingrove Art Gallery; the Tenemant House, Glasgow School of Art and the Riverside Museum are also easy to walk to. The University of Glasgow is 15 minutes walk. Our street is very quiet and residential with traditional sandstone architecture all around. It is possible to walk into the City Centre from the flat, it will take about 20-30 minutes, but we live 5 minutes from Kelvinbridge Underground Station which can easily and cheaply transport you around the city. There are also great bus links on nearby Maryhill and Great Western Roads. There is lots of free on street parking outside the flat if you plan to arrive by car. All in all a great location! The flat is on the 2nd floor of a traditional tenement building (block of 8 flats with a shared stair). There is no elevator/lift.zobacz więcej

Cozy, spacious, fully and graciously stocked - we haven't felt like we've been "home" until staying here. In fact, we were terribly sad that we had only one night to enjoy this gem of a rental. Vicki is incredibly welcoming and she shares her home with you rather than the living area and kitchen being off limits. Her daughter is a little ball of sunshine and her cat Missy is the friendliest most cuddly creature I have ever met. Vicki's house is *GORGEOUS*, beautifully designed and with a setting that is out of this world. I probably spent an hour talking to Vicki when I arrived because she is such a friendly and interesting person. In the morning I was meant to leave early but i was having such a great time talking with two other very interesting guests that i didn't get on my bike until 10. Breakfast was a feast, I took a photograph of how plentiful, varied and beautiful the food looked. A genuinely life changing experience not just a place to stay.

I really recommend staying at Old Mill Cottage, I was there only for one night with my girlfriend during our visit to Scotland but it was one of the best accommodations we had. The cottage is very nicely located a bit beyond the village in a quiet surrounding on a river bank. The rooms are very nice and new. We didn't have an en suite but we has our own bathroom next door. The house is very nice, with a lot of decorations that give it a cosy atmosphere. Vicky and her husband are very friendly and nice, they gave us a lot of hints what to see in the area - the B&B is a great point for trips to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The breakfast was wonderful with a variety of food and cooked meals made by Vicky. We wished we could stay there for longer.

During our road trip through Scotland I was the most excited to stay in Loch Lomond and at Vicky's because of the wonderful pictures and reviews. Everything about our stay was wonderful and Vicky was such a welcoming host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She planned our day trips for us giving us excellent drives and food recommendations that were away from regular touristy things. She made phone calls for us to arrange bikes and kayaking. Everything was very comfortable and clean and we had a wonderful home cooked meal to start each day! We can't thank her enough for welcoming us into her home.

Arita and Kris made us feel extremely welcome. They are friendly and very sociable. We loved the room and the location was perfect for us. We could really tell that every single little detail has been thought of to make their guests stay the best possible. If we are ever back in Glasgow, we won't want to stay with anyone but them! Thank you very much for everything!

Arita and Kristaps are the best hosts ever!! Our little two-days trip in Glasgow could not be the same without this amazing room. The bed is comfortable and clean. The rooftop view is quite refreshing especially if you need some alone time from your friend. (^_^) We could not make a full use of it because of the coldness in Glasgow. The location is very convenient too.In conclusion, this is a perfect room to stay in if you want to explore Glasgow properly.

I was made most welcome by Arita and Kristaps. My room was immaculate and the washing and shower facilities were excellent. All in all I had a very comfortable stay and night sleep. I would recommend this airbnb.

Arita and Kris were lovely from the moment I booked to the moment I departed. The room itself is stunning. It has an amazing view, a great bathroom, a large space, and a big bed. They provided information on Glasgow, with museum information, and brochures of various places around town. They also left reccomended places to eat nearby. If I had any enquiries about what was around, or how to get somewhere, they were more than happy to help. This room really made my time in Glasgow even better - it was great knowing I was returning to a safe an comfortable place. I cannot reccomended them more highly.

We had a very comfortable stay with Arita and Kris. They did everything to make it smooth for us. The home was clean and the shower was great. Everything was provided for and very organised. The location is perfect for walking down to the Glasgow city centre. Would go back to stay there if we visit Glasgow again.

We loved staying here! It was the perfect location for all the spots we visited in Glasgow. It's a central location and close to transportation(like the bus from the airport around the corner). Arita and Kris were very friendly and helpful, but also gave us our space which was nice after our long days walking around the city. It was easy to relax in their place. And Charlie, their puppy, was so sweet! The room had a unique, kind of quirky style, with the mustache bed spread to the funky chair in the corner. And lots of helpful things around the room, like wall plugs(which we totally forgot about, coming from America, that we'd need an adapter), fast WiFi, and lots of Scotland travel guides. I definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay at Arita and Kristaps place :) Arita is super friendly and helpful, the room is as seen in the photo, and really quiet. The location is, as said, ideal to reach central glasgow by foot. You can go there with your eyes closed :)

Gorgeous apartment in the heart of Glasgow's vibrant west end. We've done all we can to make this bright, spacious flat a fantastic place to stay - combining a touch of retro style and elegance with great coffee, a big comfy bed and a power shower. Everything has been done to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The interior has been recently refurbished - given a grace and elegance appropriate to this landmark building designed by Alexander 'Greek' Thomson in 1865. But with a touch of retro-styling and quirkiness. The living room is bright and spacious with high ceilings, ornate cornicing, a marble fireplace and large sash windows which let in lots of light. There's plenty of room to relax, eat, cook, watch TV or listen to music. There's a HD TV and DVD player and you'll find a selection of DVDs, books, games and guide books. There's an iPhone dock. And plenty of cushions and throws. So please feel free to get comfy and put your feet up. The flat is centrally heated. It warms up quickly and it's easy to adjust the temperature to suit you. The kitchen has everything you'll need: dishwasher, combined oven/grill/microwave, an induction hob and a fridge with a small freezer compartment. There's plenty of crockery, glasses and utensils so you can use whatever you like and just pop it in the dishwasher. No need to keep washing up. There's a range of herbs, spices, oils etc so if you're planning to cook you should only need to buy main ingredients. There's a range of tea bags and coffee pods for the Nespresso machine to start you off. Help yourself to muesli, porridge and cornflakes. You'll find milk in the fridge when you arrive. The sofa easily converts to a double sofa-bed with feather duvet and pillows stored inside. The shutters can be closed to keep in the warmth and keep out the light. The bedroom has a sturdy kingsize bed with a memory foam mattress topper. Feather duvet and pillows - If you're allergic let me know and we'll replace them. The full-length curtains are thermal-lined and the shutters can be closed too. The bedside lights can be switched on and off with just the touch of a hand. In the tall chest of drawers you'll find a hair-dryer. The wardrobe has plenty of wooden hangers and space to store your luggage. The bathroom is bright and fresh with a good-sized bath and a powerful shower with constant hot water. There are white fluffy towels. Hand-wash, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. A socket for a shaver or toothbrush. A big mirror. Plenty of light, hooks and places to put your things. There's even a toilet seat that closes on its own. Well almost. You just have to start it off. In the hall there's a full-length mirror, hooks for jackets, plenty of space to kick off your shoes. And a cupboard that houses a washer/dryer, iron, ironing board etc. There's also a drying rack that fits above the bath. In the hall you'll find movement sensitive night-lights to guide you if you need to get up in the night. I have only been on AirBnb since the beginning of February and am amazed at how many bookings I've had already. If you're interested in staying at my apartment please get in touch as it seems to be booking up fast. You will have exclusive use of the apartment during your stay. The apartment is on the ground floor of a four story terraced house that has been converted in to four flats. The neighbours are all very friendly. The flat is all on one level but there is a step up in to the living room and four steps up to the main entrance. The check out time is by 11.00 am and check in time is after 3.00. I shall be as accommodating as possible so please ask if you would prefer a different time. The closest underground is Kelvinbridge. Only three stops from the city centre. The station is a approximately a 5 minute walk (I can do it in 3 if I'm rushed) but it will probably take you a bit longer if you're a slow walker or you've got luggage. Buses go along Gibson St, University Ave and Great Western Rd where it's also fairly easy to pick up a taxi. This is a great place to explore Glasgow from. If you want to go further afield, less than 10 minutes on the Underground will get you within an easy walk of Central and Queen St Stations and Buchanan St Bus Station. Parking in Hillhead is largely for residents with permits. However, there is a limited number of metred parking spaces on the next block and in the surrounding streets. Parking is free in the adjoining areas (North Kelvinside and Dowanhill) so if you're coming by car you could drop off your luggage, go and park and walk back. If you're planning to do that let me know and I'll give you directions. I live next door. I'm happy to pop in to give you any help you might need or recommend places to visit but I appreciate that you may prefer to be left alone to enjoy your stay without interruption. Once I've checked that everything is okay for you I will leave you to enjoy your stay and trust that you will let me know if you need any help. You'll find easy to follow instructions for anything that may need them. I work full-time so I have a friend who will have the place looking gorgeous for your arrival. Vibrant and bohemian. Right in the heart of the bustling, fashionable west end. With more of an eclectic multi-cultural vibe than some of the other areas, Hillhead, home to Glasgow University, is popular with students and academics. But you'll also find plenty of artists, writers, musicians and other generally creative liberal types here too. The local shops around the corner on Great Western Road reflect this. We have Roots and Fruits, a wholefood deli, florist and greengrocers. Purveyors of such delicacies as dirty carrots, alfalfa sprouts and heritage root beer. Pop in to Cottonrake Bakery for a warm sourdough loaf or pick up a box of delicate Raspberry Frangipanes for afternoon tea. All baked in-store. The Glasgow Vintage Company is a 2 storey dressing-up box of bargains for anyone - men and women - looking for something quirky and unique. Valhalla's Goat stocks craft beer and organic wine in case you fancy indulging without the hangover. Mellis, a speciality cheese shop is famously queued round the block at Christmas. Such is the draw of it's Isle of Mull Cheddar. Cook has delicious chef-made meals to take home and enjoy. The staff are great. As are there Lamb Tagines and Sticky Toffee Puddings. For general supplies there's the Co-Op Supermarket. Small but perfectly stocked. And open from early till late. Round the corner in Otago Street more vintage clothing from Retro and browsable mid-century furnishings from Authentics. You might see Paul or Robert out on the steps polishing-up their latest find. They're always up for a chat. If you're a music lover you'll love CC Music Shop. If you want to stretch out drop in to Otago Steet Pilates for a class with Rhona and her team. Tchai-Ovna serves up to 100 different types of tea, exhibitions and live music from an old stables in Otago Lane. Round in Bank Street Rajous's convenience store is hard to miss. He pipes funk, soul or jazz in to the street. His samosas are hard to beat. As is his smile and his fine line in jovial banter. In Gibson Street Stravaigin goes head to head with The Left Bank to see who can be the best gastro-pub in town. Artisan Roast serves up its own award-wining coffee with local, organic, vegan and gluten free delights. As achingly cool as it's warm and welcoming. Family run Eusebi Deli is a relatively new addition to the area. But they have been welcomed with open arms ... and mouths. For a bit of culture head to the Hunterian Art Gallery and Museum and visit the home of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Before heading north along the river to The Botanic Gardens stop off under the bridge for a pint of cask ale and a stone-baked pizza at Inn Deep. Check out their Stag in a Kilt mural or just hang out on their terrace and watch the world and his dog go by. All this ... and more ... is within just 500 yards of your front door. A short walk over the hill takes you to Byres Rd and the lanes: Cresswell, Ashton and Ruthven, for more shopping and nightlife. There's even a wee cinema with couches for two! Take a wander along the Kelvin Walkway in to Kelvingrove Park towards the world-renowned Kelvingrove Museum. Famous for its magnificent organ. (Yes really!) Or head towards Finnieston for an eclectic selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Favourites include The Gannett for fine Scottish dining. And The Steamie with its over-sized tea cups which take two hands to lift. Its old-school workbench counter is laden with thick doorstop slices of home-made cakes. I can vouch for the Lemon and Poppy seed and the delicious Iced Gingerbread. That's probably enough to give you a sense of what my pure dead brilliant amazing neighbourhood has to offer! If you'd like to come and stay I'd love to hear from you so please get in touch. The closest underground is Kelvinbridge. Only three stops from Buchanan St in the city centre. The station is approximately a 5 minute walk (I can do it in 3 if I'm rushed) but it will probably take you a bit longer if you're a slow walker or you've got luggage. Buses go in to town along Gibson St, University Ave and Great Western Rd where it's also fairly easy to pick up a taxi. This is a great place to explore Glasgow from. If you want to go further afield you can even get a bus to Oban from the end of the street. Parking in Hillhead is largely for residents with permits. However, there is a limited number of metred parking spaces on the next block and in the surrounding streets. Parking is free in the adjoining areas: North Kelvinside and Dowanhill. So if you're coming by car you could drop off your luggage, drive to find a parking space and walk back. If you're planning to do that let me know and I'll give you directions. I've written a manual to help make your stay as easy and relaxing as possible. It tells you simply and clearly where everything is and how it all works. I've included emergency contact numbers, directions to the nearest chemist, what to do when checking out, Wifi password etc. I thought about posting it here but it's a pretty dry read so I'm not going to subject you to that ... yet!! That said if you would like to peruse it at your leisure before you arrive just let me know when you book and I'll email you a copy.zobacz więcej

I can't speak highly enough about the trip to Caroline's flat. From a he moment we booked we were made to feel welcome, with great communications and assistance with any questions we had. The flat was immaculate and well stocked, and Caroline made sure we felt like we could truly relax and enjoy our stay. I couldn't recommend this more highly.

We had a lovely stay in Caroline's beautiful apartment. It is so tastefully done and conveniently located close to great restaurants, bars and walking distance for wondering around the stunning West End. Caroline was really easy to get in touch with and gave us some good recommendations. I will definitely be spreading the word about this lovely airbnb and will be staying here myself again when next in Glasgow :)

I loved the neighbourhood (near the university where the students seem very well behaved!) and Caroline's flat is a cosy little haven within it. She is a talented interior designer and an excellent host. I really appreciated her quick and clear communication. Having some refreshments and a few cooking ingredients ready and waiting was very welcome too. Another great Airbnb experience.

Information about the apartment and Glasgow was very detailed and useful. Thanks Caroline for having us in your wonderful apartment, we will definetely come back!

This was our first trip to Scotland and it was made absolutely perfect thanks to Caroline and her beautiful home! It's every bit as perfect as it looks on the pictures. We got lost while trying to find the house and she patiently explained the way to her home and helped us settle in. We couldn't meet her, but the home was so cosy and so perfect! Caroline left a manual with details on how everything functioned in the home too! The room was perfect and the kitchen was stocked with food that we could use. She even left us with toiletries to use. There isn't one thing that I can say was wrong with the place. I would definitely recommend this listing to anyone who is visiting Glasgow!

What can I say about this STUNNING location and amazing host that has not already been said? The Church is an incredible almost surreal place to stay. Its lofty ceilings and exquisite decor are decadent. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is gourmet, and the bathrooms are a slice of paradise. From this location you are a 10 second walk from one of the most gorgeous parks in all of Glasgow (Queens Park is directly across the street), a 5 minute walk to the train station and the trendy shops and restaurants of the south side, and a 10-12 minute train ride to Glasgow Central Station, connecting you to every neighbourhood in the city and every town and city in the Scotland by ScotRail. Getting anywhere from the Church is quick, easy and efficient (you can basically walk anywhere, too - a gentle stride for 30-45 minutes and you'll be in most places in central Glasgow by foot). None of this even matters when compared to the generosity and awesomeness of Arelene. Staying here is like visiting a best friend for life. You will not have a better or more attentive host. Arlene leaves her home very clean and very finely appointed for even the fussiest of traveller. If you stay here... you will be glad you did so... and when you stay here.... you will be sad to say goodbye. This truly is the very best vantage point to enjoy and explore everything that this incredible city has to offer!!

Arlene was a fantastic host. She met us on arrival and gave us a tour of her beautiful home. The house itself is even more impressive in person. Everything about the house surpassed expectations. The house is in a beautiful neighbourhood, with the lovely Queen's Park right opposite. We were also given restaurant recommendations and were told how to find our way around the neighbourhood. We felt very comfortable in her home, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic and it would be hard to find better hosts to welcome you in the area. We got a very delicious breakfast from the host in the mornings as well as very detailed information about the area that made our decision making much easier. We watched some TV with the hosts and had chats with them and it was such a pleasent experience I couldn't imagine having stayed anywhere else. The room was clean and well furbished for our short stay and the added benefit of a personal bathroom was the best. Views are amazing as well as perfectly located for anything in the city as well as trips outside the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return some other time. Many thanks

Lovely, cosy one bedroom flat, nicely decorated and furnished. Central location. Near St George's Cross underground, city centre & west end. Central heating, shower & kitchen- a wee home from home for private use. Short or longer term rental. It's a great, cosy and nicely decorated flat at a budget price. Everything you need for a short to medium term stay. Guests have the use of my flat as their home for the duration of their stay. Due to my work schedule, access during the week (weekdays Mon-Friday) is by arrangement and might be after 5.30pm. I can be flexible about check out time. I will meet you to let you into the flat, give you information to make you comfortable and then leave you to it....the flat is small and so I am not there when you are there :-) An ethnic mix of people. Local shops and restaurants nearby. Easy to get to all other parts of Glasgow. Walking distance to city centre and west end. Not the most high end part of the city, but a good vibe and safe area. St George's X underground is 1 min walk away and gets you around the city very easily. Public buses are also plentiful just a minute's walk from the flat. There is a charge to park a car on the street right outside the flat, from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. After 6pm it is free and all day Saturday and Sunday it is free. However, there is free on street parking a couple of minutes walk away if you have a car and intend parking all day Mon-Fri.zobacz więcej

I stayed at Claire's flat for several weeks whilst working in Glasgow, and the minute I walked through the door I felt at home. The flat is bigger than you would think from the photos, very comfortable and is in the perfect location- just out of the hussle and bustle of town, but close enough to be in the centre or the west end in a few minutes. Claire is a great host; warm, welcoming, communicative and very obliging. I had a couple of queries during my stay and Claire responded very quickly and sorted them straight out. I very much hope to stay here again next time I'm in Glasgow. Highly recommended!

I had an absolutely lovely time at Claire's flat. She gave me a tour upon arrival (even though I was late!), and then left me to it-- she provided a useful list of instructions, and was quick to reply to my questions. The flat is in a great location for accessing both the West End and City Centre, with lots of pubs, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. The building/flat is clean, feels safe, and has a lovely wee back garden. Highly recommended for a stay in Glasgow!

Merci encore !

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers & business travellers. If you like being bang in the centre of all the action, then this is the place! With gigantic windows over the busiest clubbing street in the city, there is always plenty to see! The heart of the city is a bustling, vibrant and busy place - if you're a very light sleeper, this may not be the best place for you. However, we do provide ear plugs and a white noise machine to help guests get a good night's sleep. With gorgeous big Victorian windows overlooking the Glasgow School of Art, this is a really unique place to stay. It's a busy street, so don't expect silence at night - rather, this is like being in a city that never sleeps! We have just renovated the whole flat, painting it in Farrow and Ball colours and installing a brand-new Ikea kitchen with all-new appliances. With super-soft cotton bedding and a snuggly duvet, it's a great place to rest your head after a busy day (and night!) out. All of it! My husband James and I will be on hand throughout your stay if you have any questions or concerns, or just want some tips about places to check out! We're in a fantastic central location a fifteen-minute walk from George Square and about ten minutes from the West End, so we're pretty handy for most things you would want to see and do in Glasgow, be it the School of Art, Kelvingrove Museum, shopping on Buchanan Street or going for drinks in the Merchant City. We go out for dinner a lot so do ask us if you'd like a recommendation, or for us to book a table somewhere for you! You can walk pretty much everywhere from here - it's about a ten-minute walk from Buchanan bus station, about fifteen minutes from Glasgow Central train station and is close to several bus routes too. There is also the option of Uber for getting to and from the airport - it normally only costs around £15-20. If you have trouble sleeping, we do supply earplugs and a white noise machine - however, it should be noted that without either of these, the street noise can be quite disruptive so unless you are used to sleeping in a city environment you may struggle with this.zobacz więcej

Absolutely stunning apartment! James met us at the flat, and kindly let us check in earlier than planned. He showed us around the flat and explained all about the heating etc. He also gave us directions and tips on where to visit in Glasgow. Prior to arriving, Stephanie also very kindly sent us a long list of great shops all over the City to visit, which was super helpful. The location was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to which was great. The apartment was homely and cosy and beautifully decorated - my Mum loved the fact it was built by the Mackintosh company! The kitchen was equipped with tea, coffee, milk and a lovely variety of food for breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the living room was also a great place to chill out. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay - we will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at Stephanie's flat, she and her husband were so accommodating, flexible with our check in and check out allowing us to have a proper little holiday. The flat is gorgeous and in a perfect location for restaurants and bars, in the city centre but remarkably not too noisy. The kitchen was perfectly equipped too enabling you to cook properly and easily. Definitely recommend this gorgeous flat.

This apartment is in a fantastic location in Glasgow, we had travelled up to see my brother's final degree show, as he was graduating from GSA, and couldn't believe it when we discovered we were staying opposite the show. It is close to the train station and within a short walk of some very trendy bars. There is also a small tesco on the corner which is really handy for any food/drink items. It is really spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for the 5 of us. The host was really easy to communicate with and very helpful in answering all my questions. I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend staying here.

The apartment was fantastic, even better than the pictures showed and the fact that there was parking available was a massive plus point. The location was fine and central with everywhere that we needed to go within walking distance or a short taxi journey away. I would happily stay again and will most likely be my first port of call then next time I'm in Glasgow.

Prime Location. This stylish flat has a cosy cottage-like feel on a quiet leafy street with access through the garden. It is next to the University, Kelvingrove, Botanics and a 3min walk to Byres Road with cafes, bars, supermarkets and Hillhead Tube. This is a rare property to find in such a great location. It has the feel of a cottage; entry through the private garden, low ceilings and solid oak flooring. It has been refurbished to a high standard with the furniture and fittings giving the space a bright contemporary feel. With one bedroom and a second double fold-down Habitat sofa bed in the living room/kitchen area this apartment can sleep 4. Guests have access to the whole flat including the private garden. There is a main entrance upstairs and also a backdoor through the garden into the lane which leads to all the cafes, shops and transport on Byres Road. Parking outside the apartment is free! Bowmont Gardens is a safe, peaceful area of Glasgow. The apartment is particularly quiet - not even the sound of traffic as the bedroom looks onto the garden and lane at the back of the property. I will be available to meet and greet you and help you with whatever you may need. I am happy to be ready at the end of the phone. This apartment is the garden flat, part of a beautiful old Georgian house which has been divided into 5 flats and is surrounded by old Georgian buildings in the heart of Glasgow's fashionable and vibrant West-End. It is only a few minutes walk to Byres Road with funky cafes, traditional bars, restaurants, vintage and charity shops. Ashton Lane is 5 mins away where you'll find more boutique shops, bars, the famous Ubiqitous Chip restaurant and The Grosvenor Cinema where you can enjoy a glass of wine while relaxing on one of their leather sofas. Ruthven Lane is 2 mins away with it's quirky 50's and antique shops. It's a short 10 min walk turning left along Byres Road to Great Western Road and The Botanical Gardens where you can wander round the Glass Houses and have a cuppa inside the beautiful Kibble Palace. You will love The Oran Mor, an old converted chuch opposite the Botanics at the end of Byres Road. There you can have a meal or pop in for a pint and admire our local artist Alasdair Gray's painted ceiling or even enjoy a one hour theatre show with a free beverage and pie downstairs at "A Play A Pie And A Pint" every afternoon. Glasgow University is a 10 min walk from the apartment in the other direction, turning right along Byres Road and from the Uni it's only a short walk to Kelvingrove Park, The Kelvingrove Art Gallery (delicious lunch downstairs) and The Glasgow Transport Museum across the road. Hillhead Tube station is less than 5 mins walk from the apartment with a 10 minute ride into the city centre where you can shop til you drop. Princes Square is great for designer and it's well worth crossing the street to visit The Lighthouse Museum in Mitchell Lane. There's loads to see and do here! Local supermarkets within a 10 minute walk include Waitrose, M&S and Tesco. A return tube ticket costs £3 for a 10 minute journey from Hillhead Tube on Byres Road, into the City Centre (Buchannan Street or St Enoch station). To get to Queen Street Train Station you take the tube from Hillhead Tube to Buchanan Street and from there it's a 2min walk to the over-ground trains including the Edinburgh train - simply follow the signs. From Glasgow airport it's a 20 min taxi (URL HIDDEN) you see... You won't find a lovlier property in a more convenient, fun yet tranquil area of Glasgow! We had a great time at Ruby's flat - we didn't meet her, but the keys were easy to access and the flat is in a lovely neighbourhood and a great location about 5 mins walk to Byres Road and the subway into town. My experience at Ruby's place was wonderful! She answered all my pre-arrival questions promptly, and kindly accommodated a couple extra requests. The place itself is great! Stylish, clean, in excellent condition, and well appointed. It looks like the photos. The neighbourhood is lovely: very leafy, quiet, and beautiful buildings, yet just a few minutes walk to the main road in the West End (Byres), where there are cafes, restaurants, bars, and shops. Highly recommended.

Charming Victorian Period flat, with designer features but all the modern comforts of a home from home. This newly re-furbished apartment has three new and very comfortable double beds, one with en-suite shower room. All bedrooms and the living room have a flatscreen TV/DVD. The fully equipped kitchen is brand new, with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave etc. There is a separate sitting room with sofa and chairs to relax, and an iPod dock/speaker, which is also a charger. The central heating gives instant hot water, and there is everything you would expect in a home away from home, I have just installed super fast fibre optic wireless broadband, so you can enjoy internet access and emails while you are staying. The username and password are given in the instruction manual once your booking is confirmed. Fresh bedding and towels are provided as standard. Please note that the price is 99GBP for the first guest, with a modest 12GBP additional charge for every subsequent guest up to a maximum of six guests. This is to cover cleaning, laundry and utilities. Located near to Charing Cross, and very close to Glasgow University, It is almost on the edge of Kelvingrove Park with its Art Gallery. Nearby Gibson Street has endless bars, cafes and late night shops. Byres Road with its restaurants, shops and Waitrose supermarket is an easy walk. Kelvinbridge underground will whisk you into the centre in minutes, but there are also lots of buses and taxis which are quite affordable in this small city. Please note that as I live in London, you will be given the keys by a friend who lives close by, or the Housekeeper, Jacqueline. A word about check in/out. You must check out by 11 am at the very latest. Check OUT is very simple, as you you just post the last set of keys through the letterbox when you leave, and send me a quick message to say that the flat is ready for the housekeeper to service. For check in, we will always try to be flexible, and try to meet your arrival time, but do please ask if you think you are likely to arrive particularly late or early. If there is a departing guest on your arrival day, we will need enough time to service the flat before we let you in. This will usually be after 2.30 pm. As the key holder has to be on stand-by, it is extremely important that you arrive at the arranged time, so that he or she is not left waiting endlessly. If you are delayed for any reason, please be courteous and let them know as soon as you can. Once you have a confirmed booking, you will have access to their number and email, so that you can contact them directly. Parking in Glasgow - it's never simple. I usually have a car when I am up, and here's what I know. Free parking first. There is a little lane just behind the school opposite. If you can get in there it's free. I usually manage this. Alternatively there is free parking on the other side of Great Western Road in Belmont Street. This is a six minute walk from the flat. A little patience will usually get you a space. Then there is the park and ride at Kelvinbridge Underground station. If you are using the underground a whole day's parking costs 5 pounds, and you can leave the car there until 11. 30 pm, when the car park auto-locks. I think you can leave the vehicle overnight for free if you are sure you will not need it until 8 am the next morning. 2 mins walk from the flat. Parking in a metered space is easy and not too expensive - you pay from 8 am to 6 pm, then it's free. It is not ridiculously expensive, and you pay at a meter. I have never yet had to resort to this, but there are always spaces to be had. In short, you will always be able to park, but may occasionally have to pay. I tried for a parking permit, but it is not transferable to another car so of no use to me or my guests. Hope that is some help. The whole Flat, and all its amenities. I am always contactable by text or email, and the housekeeper lives very near, and can be contacted in case of emergency. This tiny pocket of the West End is just the best. Literally a few steps away are the shops, cafés, bars and restaurants of Gibson Street, yet the flat itself is quiet, and benefits from great natural light, thanks to the fact that there are no flats on the opposite side of the street, just a rather chic new modern-designed school. The location in on the edge of Kelvingrove park, with its museum and Art Gallery, and ten paces from Glasgow University, with its beautiful architecture, and Hunterian Museum. Also Nearby in A Neo-Classical Church, and The Charles Rennie Mackintosh House - a must-see for any visitor. The best thing is that you can walk to Byres Road, or into the town Centre, via Charing Cross. However transport is amazing. There are buses from nearby Gibson Street, the underground is a mere 4 mintes walk, and in four stops will whisk you into the City Centre. Taxis are also remarkably affordable, and arrive very quickly thanks to a central telephone booking system. Just call (phone number hidden). They can also be booked in advance for airport or train departures.zobacz więcej

Allan's flat is lovely and looks just like you see in the photos. All the rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. It was perfect for our family of four during our six days in Glasgow over the holidays. Jacqueline at the flat to meet us when we arrived from the airport and the flat was spotless. The location is unbeatable. You are right around the corner from Gibson Street (restaurants, coffee shops, corner store), a short walk to the university and museums/art galleries and a short walk to a grocery store. Glasgow University, Botanical Gardens, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Rennie MacIntosh House, all less than 10 min walk, beautiful parks, river walks and restaurants, cafes etc just outside. Queen Margaret Dr is the Botanical Gardens part of Byres Rd. Period Victorian Apartment with two large double bedrooms, bay windowed lounge. Edwardian shower and bath. Cable broadband. Above two really good Italian cafes and views of the Botanical Gardens. Kelvin River scenic walk right outside, but only mins walk from all the restaurants, bars and cafes in Glasgow's West End. The apartment is yours, and yours alone. I live round the corner. I will meet you, give you the keys, a map, a wee introduction to some of the hiddens gems nearby. (Most of them discovered by guests, have to admit.) Cuppa tea, quick tour of the apartment (it's only two bedrooms, lounge, bathroom, kitchen, so it's a pretty quick tour.) After that, you can contact me ANY time, 'bout anything, if I don't know (probably won't) I can find out, no worries. Queen Margaret Drive is the same street as Byres Rd, a friendly little community with a lot of cafes, craft shops and everything from knitting, piercings to bakeries catered for. You can walk to the vity centre in 25 minutes, but the Subway (Underground Metro) and bus services are 7 minutes walk. (I geekily timed it.)zobacz więcej

Great getaway cabin on the Banks of Loch Lomond, fantastic views of the loch and surrounding mountains. A great base for enjoying the many water sports available on the loch, hill walking or simply a relaxing break. Continental breakfast included. The cabin is self contained with an en suite shower room, TV and free WiFi. A substantial continental breakfast is provided within the cabin. There is a covered balcony area and garden. Our biggest asset without doubt is the unrestricted stunning views of Loch Lomond and surrounding mountains. We are in the village and within a five minute walk of all local amenities. If you are attending a wedding in the village we are located 50 metres from the church and a five minute walk to both local hotels. There is private access to the cabin from the road which can be locked, guests will be provided with a key for this and for the cabin on arrival. As the cabin is located in the grounds of my garden i am here most of the time. I am happy to help guests in any way i can to make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Luss is an extremely picturesque village in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National (URL HIDDEN) is in a conservation area with many ancient buildings, the local church being of particular interest with hump back Viking grave stones. We love, loved our stay with Alyson I. Luss. The cabin had the most spectacular, unexpected views and was absolutely beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable with great linens and the overall decor was modern and tasteful. Loved the attention to small details, the private entrance, and we were particularly impressed at the overly generous stocked fridge full of snacks, goodies, and things for breakfast. We can't wait to come back and highly recommend the property to anyone. A great value!

One of the best airbnb experiences I've had. We stayed here as we had friends wedding at the lodge on Loch Lomond, and Alysons Cabin was much cheaper and more picturesque. When we came round in the car, Alyson kindly drove us back to hotel (to save my ears from my girlfriend having to walk in heels). Breakfast was fantastic and stayed in the fridge so you could eat when you wanted and what a selection of food there was! Always available if needed but left you too it, the best combo on airbnb. Will absolutely be back here as the breakfast in bed with that view was something il remember.

We had the most wonderful, relaxing time at Vicki's beautiful house in Croftamie. Within minutes, it felt like we had come to stay with old friends & it was so hard to say goodbye after just 2 nights! Vicki's delightful daughter Daisy was enthralled by our 4 month old baby girl & the 2 of them entertained us and each other throughout our stay. The house even better than described in the listing, with cuddles from Missy the cat, fresh eggs from the hens for breakfast each morning (& to take with us!), & the tranquil riverside setting with cows & their calves roaming the surrounding fields. The house is in an ideal location to explore Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park, but even further afield too if you have more time than we did. We will definitely be back next time we're in Scotland.

We had a wonderful time staying at Vicki's beautiful home. We were visiting Loch Lomond for a swimming event, and Vicki was so kind and supportive - we had the kitchen to ourselves to make a huge pasta meal the night before :-) Utterly delicious breakfast too. Highly recommended! X

Myself a 6 friends stayed in the Riverside Cottage over Easter. We had a fabulous weekend. The house is beautiful, warm and welcoming, and big enough for everyone to have their own space. We were warmly welcomed and Vicki took the time to talk to us about the area and best things to do. The house overlooks a river which, when the windows are open, is very relaxing to listen to. I highly recommend visiting Vicki and her beautiful house in Croftamie.

The cottage was really beautiful and in a great location near the river. It was ideal for traveling around Loch Lomond and Glasgow areas. Vicki and her partner were great hosts - a friend and myself got there late after a long drive and we missed dinner as the nearby places were closed, they were kind enough to cook up something for us, which was great. Absolutely enjoyed the stay. Thanks!
