“Establishment within a vineyard on a hill with natural wild vegetation. Taste Corfiot cuisine at its best with a fine selection of original local dishes alongside with fine red and white wine made from grapes that grow within the estate. Ideal for lunch during spring and afternoon evenings in the summer. Available store to buy local products. Make a reservation before you go!”

“The museum is housed in the Old Fortress in the beautiful church, dedicated to the Holy Virgin “Our Lady of Antivouniotissa” (Kyra Antivouniotissa) which is one of the oldest churches in Corfu and dates from the 15th century. It is also the oldest, most complete, and best preserved example of the ‘Heptanesian Basilica’ style church. The Museum collection includes significant works by both well-known and anonymous artists, dating from the 15th to the 20th century and represents six centuries of artistic religious expression and creation in Corfu and the Ionian Islands.”

“The Historic Folklore Museum of Messi, Corfu, was inaugurated in August 1982 in the traditional village of Sinarades, 13 kilometres from Corfu Town, while since 1985 it is housed in a private old two-storey mansion. Access to the house’s first floor is provided by an external stone staircase, which ends in a “bontzos” (veranda). This floor presents a rural house of a medium financial condition, as it evolved within a century (1860-1960) in the villages of Messi region of Corfu. The house includes a “portigo” (entrance), a kitchen, a dining room, a hall and a bedroom. The respective furniture and utensils have been placed in those rooms.”
