This is a lovely base from which to explore beautiful Rutland. I live in the main house, and will be pleased to meet you and help you enjoy your stay. This studio flat is self contained, sharing the back door to the main house.

Rutland Passivhaus Stay

A super insulated house designed to the Passivhaus Standard. Located in Whitwell Village on the north shore of Rutland Water. Space offered is a self-contained double bedroom with a separate shower room and entrance. Parking is provided. Tea, coffee and breakfast items are provided including fresh fruit. Please note that the room does not have direct views to Rutland Water but the water is just a short 14 minute walk away or easily enjoyed from the garden of the main house.

Oak Tree Annexe is set in a secluded and secure walled garden. You can park for free directly outside the house and will be staying in one of Rutland’s most desirable villages. Set on the fabulous cycle route around the water and with access to great walks directly from the house or a short drive away it’s a perfect location for exploring Rutland. Our village pub is a 3 minute stroll, serves food 7 days a week and offers our guests a 10% discount on their meals.
