There are four people in our family.
I love cooking, music, singing and watching our grandgirls play together and do gymnastics.
We do not smoke nor do we have pets.
Five things I prefer not to live without: my grandgirls, my daughters, my husband, music, clean air. MY HUSBAND says he cannot live without water, shower, tv, bagels (haha), and grandchildren. My GRANDGIRLS say they cannot live "without books, my toothbrush, a blanket, a camera, and my sisters".
Books our older grandchildren like: non-fiction and fiction. Particularly animal books. MOVIE: Smurfs II SHOW: The Fresh Beat Band, Backyardigans, Olivia, Wallace & Grommit, Octonauts. MUSIC: We all like Frozen music, music, Jaci Velasques. FOOD: Pernir, empanadillas, Latino food, asparagus, carrots, salads, French and Italian bread, ice cream, fish, pizza, pasta, etc. etc.
We recently went to London for our daughter's wedding and fell in love with the country. It was our first time outside of the U.S. and I was first a little worried about traveling such a distance but once I got there I knew I would continue travelling abroad whenever we get a chance. We also visited Paris and loved the warmth of the people and the quaint shops and narrow streets.
We were always hotel people but once we stayed at an airbnb in London and Paris we knew that there probably would not be much hotel staying and we got the idea of renting out part of our home for people to enjoy as we did when we stayed at the airbnb's abroad.
My life motto is: Live and let live! My 9 year old's grandchild motto is: Consequences work better than punishment.
