Dog Bank is a fabulous base for access to most places in the Lake District and there are some wonderful walks straight from the house and bike rides both mountain and road. The local village is 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car and there is a wonderful real ale pub with home cooked food 5 minutes walking distance from the house.

We love living in the Lake District as we are keen walkers, climbers, bikers and runners & its all on our doorstep. We have two teenagers and two Jack Russell's who also adore walking in the mountains and the surrounding countryside. We hope you will love it here as much as we do.
