Hello Lizzie, I'm writing to clarify as follows:
- when I found out the extra bed of the sofa had been used I immediately contacted you through an Airbnb message; as per the website procedure, you had 72 hours to reply before Airbnb was asked to intervene. You never replied to my message (more then 72 hours passed) therefore I had to contact Airbnb. Only afterwards you wrote to me and I decided not to answer to your not very friendly messages. How can you say I didn't contact you?
- I rent my apartment to one person only because I am aware of the fact that the bed of the sofa is not a great one, but I wonder, how do you know that? Why did you need to unfold it to watch TV?
- As for your last comment, so you mean that if you had known before about my message you would have left the apartment dirty and untidy? This is not the best approach a guest should have in my opinion...
however, the air conditioning was left on (and I wrote this to you, too, you never replied) and I found out the remote control of the air conditioning was broken. Not a problem, I bought a new one, but you could have told me that it didn't work (before your arrival it worked anyway).
Please note then, that you did not book an extra night but simply changed the dates of your stay, arriving and leaving one day later, just because I informed you about the date of the Palio. Otherwise you would have had to leave on the Palio day.
I don't usually write negative comments nor ask for extra money, but I just wanted to clarify. This is what actually happened. Anyway, I hope you had a nice stay in Siena and thank you for the nice comment about my apartment.
