Miejsce
Private large room with light filled charm in a home built in 1926 and situated on a third of an acre. An ideal, close to everything, mid-county setting. A Zen garden/pond with 22 ft wide labyrinth, mature fruit trees, a small pond with flowing water feature and a bench-swing for peaceful viewing. A large aviary next to the room with Canary and Finch singing and harmonizing with amazing toned wind chimes. A flock or 8 hens, now reduced to 2! who reside within an enclosed yard surrounding their chicken coop. The room has it's own french door to the rear deck for privacy and a en- suite shower. The large walk-in closet is ideal for longer stays and now includes newley added amenities of a classic small microwave and a mini refrigerator.
We removed our lawn at the height of the drought and replaced it with a beautiful 22 ft, wide labyrinth for walking meditation. The yard/gardens have several nooks for privacy and a hammock
Looking out from your private entrance leads across a deck and a few steps to the labyrinth which is said to bring harmony to the mind and is a delightful walk.
Classic brightly painted rocking metal deck chairs await you for blissful relaxation.

Former California Highway Patrolman and VP of Sales and Marketing for Pacific Cookie Co. Grandfather to ten including 8 year-old twin grandsons who live in the South Bay of LA. Love the ocean, both in it and on it, gardening, biking, walking in beautiful Santa Cruz, especially along the new E. Cliff Ave walkway. After leaving the highway patrol, I took a path that essentially went from CHiPS to chocolate chips! Author and Founder of DriversYoga (website hidden) a mental technique to keep you in the moment while driving. The guidebook, The Art of Looking Through the Windshield can be purchased from Amazon. Most say I get along well with being a very genial host. You can talk to me about Nowhere Yoga! Over the years we have created a mature and unique garden landscape full of beauty and sound in the mode of a zen temple sanctuary between the cities of Santa Cruz and Capitola. A visual stress remover! Come and experience, we're here for you. A relaxed self download if you will! Following the earthquake of 1989 we purchased 8K handmade bricks from the demo site of the downtown Oddfellow's building. (next door to the Cooper House building, now O'Neill's Surf. The bricks were vertical from the date of 1893 to 1989! So while here you are walking on a lot of Santa Cruz history and the building that housed the original town clock! Airbnb ask me to tell guest if I have a life motto. Well yes in fact I do; Flexible indecision with all seriousness aside and forward to the rear"! "It's always 'the ole same space" And if you come, welcome to Santa Cruz---The gem of the central coast—-A special place! Aloha and Namaste Pete
