Thank you Ovidia for the kind words. Please allow me to shed some light on your constructive criticisms.
Rooms are $30USD / night (now) during our low season and up to $35USD in high season. We never provide free pick-up service but I made an exception for you (1st time ever) because it is low season and you still received the low season rate.
It is clearly stated there is no AC, as it is not needed 11 months out of the year, this month has been extremely humid and no rain like normal but we do provide fans in every room either overhead or standing which is efficient for 99% of our guests.
Mosquito nets are laundered once a month. Many of our guest do not feel the need to use them as it really depends on the individual and their relationship with mosquitos. I really don't think we have many mosquitos here, roosters yes but mosquitos not at all. ;-) I've never slept with a mosquito net (and do not even have one in my room) in my 3 years here.
Pool is cleaned twice a day every day (8:00am & 1:00pm) except Sunday, the staff's one day off but I take over this chore in the morning. Yes flowers and leaves fall from our garden in-between these cleaning times but the water always, always remains blue.
I think one can always find something that is not perfect when you are unattached to the surroundings, which I understand. You came in at the last minute for one day and was gone. You never had a chance to really experience our small community here. See, the best thing about Villa Mantra are the people who stay here and our sharing time together. My intention with this place is to attract high vibe, mindful and conscious travelers looking to meet and share experiences with others. Having a meat, smoke and alcohol free environment normally attracts a certain type of person. Unfortunately you did not book enough time here to have these experiences. It is our most attractive asset. You did tell me upon leaving that you'll be coming back and you would like to stay here again, so I hope you will give yourself more time in the future. Thank you for your thoughts and I hope to see you again soon.
Love and light,
