Appartement Kuhglocken "Cow bells" is a large newly renovated 4/5 bedroom, 2 bathroom flat over the whole of the top floor of our Haus Felix. It is situated in Hasentalstrasse, in a picturesque and quiet part of the Partenkirchen Old Town, on the side of Mount Wank. It is a 10 minute walk down to the shops, cafes and bars of the historic Ludwigstrasse. It has two balconies- one with great views of the whole valley and the Zugspitze mountain range and the other overlooking the Wank mountain.

Miejsce
In the summer, cows are in the field behind the house where lots of hiking trails start. In the winter, this hill behind the house is a popular toboganning spot and we provide sledges free of charge.

We have one parking spot in a carport for this apartment. Further free parking is available on the street outside the house. The house is built on a hill- so there are about 40 STEPS up from the carport to the house itself. So this house is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The apartment is on the first (top) floor of the house.

Children and babies are welcome and we supply baby beds and high chairs and toys free of charge. One or two dogs are welcome- we do ask you to tell us beforehand and there is a 40 euro additional fee.

We had a lot of fun renovating this apartment- using a mix of traditional Bavarian and modern furniture with a modern kitchen and modern bathrooms. We hope guests will feel at home!

PLEASE NOTE FIR Summer 2020 We will have the very large GARDEN available for guests with an amazing patio and views. We have a barbecue and also has 2 large tables with benches for guests to eat on the downstairs terrace. This garden is usually private and used by the owner who owns the ground floor apartment. However as the owner is based in the UK and will not be visiting Garmisch this summer- due to COVID travel restrictions, our fabulous manager Jenny will be in charge, be the lower garden and patios will be available for use for guests from Apartment Cow Bells. Pictures will follow. It really is a lovely space however!

There are four large bedrooms plus a sleeping niche- or 5th bedroom accessed through the 4th bedroom with a separate door- ideal for families with children.

Bedroom 1- two traditional painted Bavarian single beds. Can be pushed together to make a double. Door to front balcony.

Bedroom 2. Traditional Bavarian painted double bed. 180cm. Access to back balcony.

Bedroom 3. Traditional painted Maria and Joseph bed. 180cm. Can be separated into 2 single beds. Access to back balcony.

Bedroom 4. Double bed. 140cm.

Door accessing the sleeping nook- with a further 140cm bed. Limited headroom.

Bathroom 1: Modern walk in shower, basin and WC.
Bathroom 2. MOdern shower cubicle, basin, WC and washing machine.

Large kitchen with full size oven, 4 plate hob, microwave, dishwasher. Fully equipped for all guest group cooking needs!

Living room with a large square dining table and corner bench ( eckbank) Room for 8-10 people.

Large corner sofa, TV, DVDs, books and games.

Great views and access to the front balcony.

As I have just renovated this apartment, for bookings in February 2020 there are very few reviews online. But we have been renting apartments in Garmisch since 2011 and on Airbnb since 2018 so please do look at all our other property reviews- www.airbnb.com/p/garmisch .

This really is a beautiful location- just a short walk to the Partenkirchen pedestrian zone and super quiet. It is a 10 minute drive to the Hausberg ski lifts and hiking trails start on the doorstep.There are beautiful views from both balconies and the apartment is light and spacious. It is a very expensive residential street in Garmisch due to the lovely views!

I moved from Brighton in the UK to Garmisch over 15 years ago. Quittting a London based job involving lots of travel organising conferences to being based in the Alps is a decision I have never regretted. It really is gorgeous here. My son who is now a teenager grew up here and we love all the local skiing and boarding activites in winter and the summers based around paddle boarding at the local lakes and hiking with our two dogs. During school term time, we are based now back in the UK and guests can be met by Jenny who co hosts this apartment or can just use the pincode entry system or keybox, but if we are in Garmisch I enjoy meeting guests personally. We started the holiday rentals business in 2011 and have had lovely people visiting us from around the world. We have only been hosting through AirBnB since May 2018.

We have a lovely Appartment Manager, Jenny, based in Garmisch who is available by phone to help guests during their stay and can pop over if you need anything. Access is via a keybox with a code so a late arrival is never a problem. We have check in any time after 3pm, check out by 10am. The owner, Suzanne is always available via email to answer questions and to help you plan your stay.
