Chicken star Homestay is a nature first family guesthouse in the rice fields of Mae Keawtai, Chiang Rai.

All meals will be provided(other then the odd lunch at the market which will be only about 25 baht!) which we will share together, tea, washer and drier and much more. We want you to feel like family!

We just ask if you borrow our motorbike that you fill the gas :)

At our homestay you will be able to stay in simple cozy bungalows on the farm and attend our daily local family life. We are growing our own rice, bananas, longans and many different herbs and vegetables (all of which we will share with you!)

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will shift your perception on Thai hospitality and culture, we take care of our guests as if they would be our own family members.

There is always something new to eat and lots of it, as well as some people around, from little kids to old folks, but you may also enjoy alone time if you wish to. Most of us speak very little or no English at all. It’s always very enjoyable for us to speak with our hands and communicate with body language.

We provide bicycles, free of charge. There are a lot temples and farms around to see and explore (Bamboo farm, pig farm, buffalo farm, mushroom farm, all sorts of farms, really...)
There also are fruits native to South East Asia growing everywhere and you will be able to pick them yourself.

This home is perfect if you want to get away from the busy city life and relax on the country side.
Enjoy the simple things in life, great food, extremely friendly people, the soothing gentle sound of crickets in the night, a sky full of stars, and walks to the morning market.

This is a family home farm in the country side of Chiangrai province.

We would like you to come and experience our way of life. We take care of our guests as they would be our own family members.

There is always food on the table and there's always people around, from little kids to old folks. Most of them speak very little or no English at all. It's always fun to speak with hands or use (Hidden by Airbnb) translate; specially interesting mixture of Thai and English.

We provide bicycles, free of charge. There are a lot temples and farms around to see (Bamboo farm, pig farm, buffalo farm, mushroom farm, chicken farms...). There is fruit growing everywhere and you will be able to pick it yourself.

We have our own little farm with rice fields, bamboo and banana trees.
Lately we try to grow our own vegetables too.

This home is perfect if you want to get away from the busy city life and relax on the country side.

My name is Au and i will take good care for you if you come to stay with me and my family. My English is the best among my family but everyone is keen to learn!

We enjoy socializing with our guests, we'd like to show you around our village and farm, as well as take you on a trip to Chiang Rai.
If you do wish to spend your stay without much socializing please let us know before hand, we can make sure your stay is equally great!
