You are welcome to use the kitchen for drinks and snacks - tea and coffee included in price, and you can bring in a takeaway and eat in the dining room if you like. If you want to prepare meals or have any other requests, just ask me.

I hope you will be comfortable and feel welcome in my home. The only internal lock is on the bathroom door. I am usually home during your stay, if I'm going to be away I'll let you know. There may also be another guest staying in my other upstairs bedroom, so you'll need to be happy to share the kitchen and bathroom, and leave both clean and tidy.
Smoking allowed outside only. I have a Smoke House (shed!) in the back yard for wet weather.
No unofficial overnight guests please! Other visitors are welcome.
I may be able to accommodate your pet by arrangement.
My home is clean and welcoming. I am pretty easy going and enjoy having visitors, cooking and entertaining. I really want my guests to feel at home, so they can relax and sleep soundly. I love books and music, and enjoy cinema and theatre. The Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle is my favourite cinema.I couldn't live without my garden, and love living near the sea.I grew up in the West Country, spent 20 years in London, where my daughter was born, went back west for another 20+, where my son was born, and moved to North Tyneside 7 years ago.
I like to travel, and regularly visit friends in France and Corfu. My kids are grown up now, and I have plenty of time to enjoy life since I retired from Public Health Nursing in 2012. I try to live life to the full, and have an optimistic nature.
I love cooking Indian and Middle Eastern food, and like to learn about national and regional dishes from my guests from around the globe. I regularly make my own bread and seasonal jams and chutneys, I find home made usually tastes best.
I have such a good time hosting for Airbnb - welcoming people of all ages, from all around the world. Come and see me soon!!
