This is a lovely building. It has just been renovated and is quite quirky and cozy. Upstairs is one large area, with a great sense of space. If your chosen date is unavailable always send a message to check.
Downstairs is an entrance hall, bedroom and shower room, the window is beautifully etched which gives privacy, with underfloor heating. Two cupboards in the entrance hall house a washing machine, ironing board, iron and cleaning equipment. Upstairs is a large studio with sitting room, king-size pull-down bed, (this is a real bed), kitchen and wood burning stove. Free parking on street.
Entire property and private terrace with table and chairs. Being a little out of the centre it is quiet with good views from the park below the Grainstore. There are very partial views from the Grainstore itself across the Avon Valley to Lansdown. As I mentioned there is a park opposite within which is a small fenced play area for children.

We are normally around should you have any questions and to show you in. In the event we are not available on arrival you will receive comprehensive instructions and the pass number for the keysafe. You will also have our mobile number. If we can help with organise any activities for you in Bath do ask, from flying birds of prey to hiring bikes to swimming or canoeing, watching the rugby or football or visiting the many different museums in Bath and the surroundings. It is a good base not just for Bath but also for Stonehenge trips including Lacock, Avebury, Castle Combe, Tyntesfield House, Dyrham Park, Stourhead, Bourton on the Water, Cirencester, Malmesbury, Tetbury and Highgrove House, Bowood House, Cheddar with its cheese and Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells and it is easy to get to Bristol or Cardiff and up into the Forest of Dean....for example to Tintern with its ruined Abbey on the River Wye. Glastonbury is also close with its Tor and not many realise that this was a big coalmining area for which they built the Kennet and Avon Canal, which brings you to Bradford on Avon the very pretty wool industry village.
We would be very happy to help you access any of these places and many more, some quite unusual.

Shops are close and two pubs, directions on arrival on the welcome sheet. There is also a deli and Coop and two Tesco Express. There are taxis, buses at end of road and it is an easy twenty minute walk into town. You can take a taxi or bus back up the hill for normally £7.
This is within a residential area, so naturally the rules govern activities according to such an area. Principally no loud music or noise and all quiet outside on the terrace after 11pm
It is a no smoking property, no smoking on the balcony because it can blow back into the house. Smoking outside on terrace and an ashtray is supplied.
