I’m sincerely sorry if you didn’t enjoy your stay as much as my other guests do. I need to react to your completely unfair comments and private feedback.
Please read the following:
1/ Over the past 3 years I had many guests staying at my place leaving happy after 3 days or 3 months.
2/ It was clearly mentioned on the “Amenities” section that the use of my kitchen was not an option (to minimize the inconvenience for you, I’d placed in your room a basket with fruits – grapes, banana and cherries – as well as a bottle of water, a glass and a mug as well as cutlery for you to have a small meal in your room). I even offer you to put your fresh products in my own refrigerator! I’m sorry if you “didn’t feel welcome to make yourself at home and invite you to make tea” but my kitchen is private and not listed in the Amenities!
3/ I assured you that your belonging was safe with me staying home most of the day. If I’m not wrong nothing was stolen. Nobody ever asked me for a lock on their door.
4/ The two women who were supposed to be your neighbors in the other room left one day early. Instead, you’ve got this gentleman who booked the room the same day you arrived. As you enjoyed being able to booked instantly without needing my approval a gentleman did the same. I’m sorry to hear that you walk in on him in the bathroom without previously knocking on the door to make sure that nobody was inside. It is mentioned on my listing “shared bathroom”.
6/ Even at home I was reachable at all time on my phone. I cannot be blamed because you didn’t try to reach me thru the Airbnb link like everybody usually does.
7/ When you say “worst of all, you made no attempt to address these concerns”, actually you didn’t address any of those until you decided to left unexpectedly. I discover all your frustration yesterday via your review!
Finally, let me tell you that my home is an honest one, clean, very welcoming and I would do anything for my guest to feel at home, but it seems that you don’t know the difference between an Airbnb private home and a 5 stars’ hotel suite. I wish you all the best in the future.
