We are proud to offer you the chance to stay at our house in the beautiful village of St Georges, Hesdin. The property takes full advantage of its rural location but is yet only a 5 minute drive from the major historic town of Hesdin. There you will find a wide range of amenities including a new sports center which has an indoor/outdoor pool/slides +Ten Pin bowling lanes. Don't miss the vibrant market within the town center which takes place every Thursday and a number of other events throughout the year. The location is perfectly placed for guests traveling from the UK. We are only 1 hours drive/60 miles from Calais. We are a 30 minutes drive from the stunning sandy beaches of Berck and Le Touquet. The historic battle ground of Azincourt is only 5 miles away & some of the major 1st and 2nd world war battle locations are within a hours drive. Our house is new to the holiday market & as such we have taken the time and attention to make ever part of your stay perfect.

The Farmhouse
Venue: -
The property sits in half an acre of land. To the front, the buildings radiate of a graveled courtyard. To the left is a large barn with a 15 foot trampoline as well as a table tennis table and a pétanque court. To the right is a smaller barn and also a number of stables. The main accommodation sits at the back of the court yard. To the rear is a large garden, most of which consists of lawn. A patio with a table and 6 chairs provides you with tranquil views. A large wooden swing set sits in the corner offering hours of fun for children.


The accommodation: -
The farm house offers 150 square meters of living space. This is all contained on a single level. The kitchen consists of newly fitted units, electric oven/hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. There are adequate cooking utensils as well as crockery and cutlery. The living room has a 42" flat screen TV as well as a DVD and video player. WIFI & satellite TV is provided. There is adequate seating for 8 guests and includes a sofa bed which adds additional sleeping room for a further two guests. The dining room has a table which seats up to 8. The master bedroom contains a king sized memory foam topped bed. There is the addition of a portable foldaway travel cot should it be required. A wardrobe can also be found to provide you with adequate storage. The en-suite consists of a single toilet room as well as a separate room containing a power shower. The second bedroom also contains a king size bed with a pillow top. This room offers amazing views over the rear garden. The third bedroom has two single beds and is ideal for children. This contains an xbox/games/controllers and TV. The bathroom contains a bath with powerful shower attachment/sink and further toilet.


The Local Area

The farm house is located within the 7 Valleys (Les 7 Valleys) in Pas-de-Calais. This is well known as the land of rivers, streams, valleys and forests. The river Cache can be found within walking distance and is populated with rainbow trout, sea trout, eel, pike and roach. There are opportunity’s to take part in varying water sports including canoeing. The area is filled with places to walk and is perfect for a bike ride.

For the sports enthusiast Golf - there are numerous courses open to the public. These include:
Le Touquet Golf Club, Hardelot Golf Club, Wimereux Golf Club and Nampont Saint Martin Golf.

Motor sports: ‘le circuit du Ravin’ is situated within a 5 minute drive. The circuit is located within a meadow and includes a course through a mud pit, wooded holes, spaces and grassy areas for quads, motorbikes, 4x4.

‘Croix en ternois’ is a short drive away. There they have automobile competitions up to Formula 3, motorbikes, Kart racing.


The town of Montreuil-sur-Mer is well worth a visit. This has been voted as the 2nd best village in France and we can see why. This is one of the best preserved cities in France and forms the inspiration for novels of Victor Hugo, “Les Misérables”. The walls of the city have played their part in history and formed the British base for operations during the 1st world war. The town has a large market each Saturday in the town center.

Towns local to visit - Amiens. This historic town also contains a great value for money zoo. Well worth a visit. A visit to the cathedral is a must.
Abbeville. This contains a beautiful cathedral.
Arras - well worth a visit. Steeped in history.
Albert & surrounding area - a must for visiting the battlefields of the 1st world war. The nearby village of Thiepval holds a poignant & moving museum.

Beach - with many miles of unbroken sand you will struggle to find better beaches. This really is a hidden secret. If you like nature then a visit to Berck is a must. Park in an area called ‘club nautique Berckois’ and walk to the sea. As the tide is going out you will have the closest views of seals in the wild. A true delight and well worth visiting time and again.
Amusement parks of Bagatelle and water park of Aqualud make this area unmissable.

There really is so much to do and being so close to the UK makes for a fantastic holiday without traveling to far or breaking the bank.

About the owners: -
James, Donna and their two young sons bought the house in August 2016. They reside in London and have for the past year been transforming the house into what is a fully functional accommodation, providing modern luxuries whilst still keeping the rustic charm. They aspire to welcome families and give them the opportunity to have a fantastic holiday without having to break the bank.

Price List


To secure a booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental charge and the final balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival together with £100 security deposit, which will be returned within days of your departure. 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date. 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.


PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE: DOGS ARE WELCOME BUT THERE IS A COST OF £25 PER DOG. PILLOWS, DUVETS AND BLANKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. THERE IS A CHARGE FOR LINEN. THIS IS TO COVER THE COST OF CLEANING. YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO BRING YOUR OWN. WE CHARGE £10 PER DOUBLE BED & £5 PER SINGLE BED, PLEASE LET US KNOW AT THE POINT OF BOOKING AS TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS. AN ADDITIONAL HEATING SUPPLEMENT HAS BEEN ADDED TO COVER BOTH CENTRAL HEATING AND ELECTRIC FIRE FOR ALL VISITS IN OCTOBER
