Miejsce
Our cosy but spacious annex is the perfect place for a break. We live on an idyllic lane in the heart of the village. This private space offers an open plan airy living room (TV and WiFi)/ fully equipped kitchen. Including: oven, microwave, toaster, washing machine and table.
The bedroom is airy with a comfy super kingsized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a modern shower/bath. We provide soft towels, shampoo and soap. Guests will have use of one double wardrobe, the other has a few family items in it. Your view from your bedroom is into our secluded peaceful back garden.
We provide you with essential items and tea/ fresh coffee. Fresh milk, butter, jams and honey are in the fridge. Breakfast is stored in the cupboards where you will find a selection of cereal and some fresh bread.
The annex is purpose built with its own private front door.

Dostęp dla gości
The annex is attached to our family home. We are not noisy but you may hear us occasionally:Muffled voices and footsteps
Our dogs are often in both the front and back garden.
There is a table and chairs for your use at the front or the house which gets the sun all day.

Inne ważne rzeczy
We have two labrador dogs and a friendly cat. The dogs are sometimes laying on the grass in the front garden.

Due to our stunning walks in the National Park, we do have visitors to our village throughout the year. Parking is sometimes tricky as our beautiful lanes weren’t designed at a time when cars were so numerous.
Occasionally it’s not possible to park directly outside the house and you may need to park further along the lane.

Ditchling, Anglia, Wielka Brytania

Ditchling is a picturesque village at the foot of the Sussex Downs, it is a popular and beautiful location. If you enjoy walking, or cycling there are miles and miles of unspoiled routes to explore; Choose between the beautiful South Downs National Park or stunning Cliff top walks at nearby Seaford and beyond. Walk from here up to Ditching beacon and take in the magnificent views, maybe take a picnic and watch the stunning sunset.

It is well worth a visit to one of the several local vineyards, we love Black Dog Hill and Ridgeview.
Hungry? There are also two fantastic pubs just a short stroll
From your front door: The Bull won pub of the year 2016 which is a gastropub with delicious food and the White Horse serves great traditional “pub grub”.
The Green Welly is a fabulous (and our favourite) cafe, with scrumptious food and a delightful walled garden. It welcomes cyclists walkers and dogs too! There is also a traditional and popular tearoom called the Nutmeg Tree.
The Larder is a deli right in the centre of the village.
Velusso at the top of the lane serves delicious coffee.
We have the impressive Mid Sussex Golf Club up the road if golf is your passion.

We are a beautiful walk from the Jack and Jill windmills with stunning views of the coast in the distance.
Ditchling Museum is s short stroll away, famous for its art and craft collections, it has a small shop and cafe. Just by the Museum is a quaint duck pond and a lovely Church. Brighton is just a twelve minute train ride journey away, with at least three trains an hour in the day.

Just on the North of the village are theTurner-Dumbrell Foundation workshops they are let by the Turner-Dumbrell Foundation to tenants who are engaged in art or craft work: worth a visit.

In Summertime Cricket is played on Saturday and Sunday at the village recreation ground. Turn left out of the gate walk 50 yds to farm lane on the left and then a further 50 yds to the bright yellow gate. Go through the gate and you will see the cricket ground. Visitors are welcome to have a drink at the bar when it opens (ad hoc)

Stoneywish Nature Reserve, just across the fields, offers 50 acres of meadows, wetlands and woodland, full of native flowers and home to a wealth of wildlife.

Brighton is only ten miles South. Hop on a bus or train if you fancy some sea air or shopping.
There is so much to explore in glorious Sussex, and we are perfectly positioned to make the most of this idylic part of the world. Visit Charleston Farmhouse, Plumpton Racecourse or Hickstead Showground. There are also many fine properties and Gardens open to the public.
