For a relaxing break, a wedding, a mid week get away or somewhere nice to come back to if on business or working away.
A stunning and unique setting above the Stroud valleys, close to the M5 with easy access to the Cotswolds, with Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Cirencester, Gloucester, Cheltenham and their surrounds well within an hour.
You have sole use of a double bedroom with en suite basin, shared use of facilities including the garden and a log burning fire. Feel at home when away from home!
Situated on a working farm in an unspoilt area of Stroud, we offer you an opportunity to get away from it all while also being close to where you need to be. The property is a converted 'end of barn' in the old farm buildings which overlook some of the many picturesque parts of the area. Your room is in the eaves with the gabled frame clearly visible, so it has a rustic feel albeit with electric heating, satellite TV, Wifi and a landline. You are welcome to use the lounge and wood burner as well as the kitchen for meals. In addition to your room, there is a 'put you up' option in an adjoining room that may suit a second or third person for a short stay.
Whilst you have your own amenities in your room, you will also have shared use of the kitchen, where meals can be cooked, the bathroom, lounge and outside areas. Wifi is available throughout. There are walks on the farm that are available as desired.

Being on a private farm, the views of the Malverns, Severn Vale, Marlborough Downs and the Nailsworth valley are truly breath-taking.
You should note that it is in an elevated but sheltered position and that can mean that we can be magically above or in the cloud or experiencing a wind. The dawn is often worth getting up for.
As this is a working farm and there are livery horses, live stock and a shoot, pets are on application. Please also be respectful of other residents' parking.
Please be respectful of other neighbour's and parking.
Please take your shoes off in the house.
I am a professional with 30 years experience in the UK property industry. I have my own business as a consultant and work from home much of the time although business can take me across the UK.
I have two children; one a graduate working in London and one at school locally. My son spends time with me during school time and some weekends.
I have a range of outdoor interests living in the country from walking and sailing when possible to horses - Gloucestershire is horse country. I also like to travel and explore new places. Croatia and Sailing is a favourite with the kids and Egypt for scuba diving. I have an interest in alternative health practices and would like to go to India at some point.
My thoughts on hosting are that you should be able to make yourself feel at home and enjoy your time here. If there is anything you need and think of just let me know!
