This is a family-run business, something we do "on the side." Relations are pretty informal and sometimes we hang out by the pool, or go on excursions with guests when there is an event of interest, such as summer theater, or a cycling or rafting expedition, even a simple mountain hike.

I am a semi-retired somatic psychotherapist with a super-light work week and considerable flexibility. I have traveled the world and always much prefer staying in peoples homes than in hotel rooms.
Recently, I spent 5 months in Asia (mostly India) looking for "what to do with the rest of my life." Stranger things have happened, but after raising a family in Chicago for 30 years, I am back in my hometown (Montreal/Sutton) doing what I love best: being in nature, hiking, skiing, drawing, painting, meditating, and now learning how to play the guitar, timidly trying out my voice when no one is in earshot... Mainly, I'm really enjoying my solitude! (Paradoxically, I still love meeting new people and chatting up a storm when there's time.)
My parents have always owned residential and recreational rental properties, and now that I am in my "second childhood," I am loving the learning curve for how to slowly renovate and tend some really beautiful country-style chalets.
I hope you decide to explore this neck of the woods. I'm hoping that a lot of my former neighbors (Americans) discover the charms of the Quebec ski resort town I grew up loving, and now appreciate even more. It's really beautiful here, and the people are so friendly! (Not to mention how the Canadian dollar makes it such a good deal too.)
