Come & enjoy nature without all the work. Your tent is furnished with a real queen bed, antiques, and a small deck overlooking a neighboring lake. We provide all of the bedding and towels. You will also have access to the shared fully equipped camp kitchen (with fresh water), toilet and solar shower (bring your swimsuit because it is all out doors).
Georgetown/Coloma/Lotus are only minutes away and the site provides an excellent place for star gazing. There is another tent that sleeps 4.
Located on 10 acres at The Headless Horse Ranch we have 2 outfitter tents installed on the north end of the property. The Glamp tent is raised on a platform and can sleep up to 4 people with the addition of floor mats.
We are close to rafting at the South Fork of the American River, the Marshall Gold Discovery State Park in Coloma, hiking, biking and equestrian trails. Each year in Georgetown there is the Jeepers Jamboree where people come from all over to participate in off roading adventures. El Dorado County is fast becoming a great destination for wine tasting and we are only 90 minutes to South Lake Tahoe and 30 minutes to Placerville or Auburn.
Guests are free to walk most places on the property. The only restriction are the two pastures on either side of the driveway where the goats and green house are located.
Please shut each gate behind you to avoid Roux following you into the foxtails. He will be jealous that you are going without him but a firm "wait" is usually all he needs. If something happens and he slips by you please let Claudia or Michael know immediately noting the direction he was headed.

While traveling I like when my guests send me texts ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) about their arrival time.
We love learning about our guests but leave the amount of interaction up to them. We serve breakfast on our back deck in the morning.

Please keep food items contained in the kitchen area when not in use and that trash can lids are on securely. There is a camp instruction sheet so please take the time to familiarize yourself with it.
We are in fire country and are located 10 miles from the King fire from a few years back. Know where the escape map is located and familiarize yourself with the various ways to get down the hill. Always be safe with flammables and know the location of the fire extinguisher.
