This apartment is located in Supetarska Draga on the island Rab. Supetarska Draga is one of the oldest towns on Rab, surrounded by a necklace of uninhabited islets and their natural beaches. If you plan a day trip to one of these islands bring a picnic basket and water, as there are no bars and restaurants there, only sun, sea and sand for enjoyment.
Due to its long naval tradition it is a favourite spot for mooring sailboats. It is also home to oldest benedictine abbey on the island, whose beauty appeals equally to tourists and religious people.
Depending on when you arrive, you might come across a food & wine event, as well as various sports or enterntainment happenings. There is a lot of traditions on Rab, but “Rabska fjera” brings in more than 10.000 tourists evey year. During those days streets of Rab become a stage for a medieval festival.
Another great date comes around the last Sunday in April, when all citizens of Rab and Lopar celebrate Križi.
Lopar celebrate a 150 years old ritual doning traditional masks and singing old folk songs, moving from one home to the other where they are greeted with food and drinks.
