The Gables is a charming and elegant property which can be described as comfortable, warm and inviting. The location is perfect as it's on the Wild Atlantic Way. The Gables is an ideal base whether you are looking for a relaxing break in a great location or if you want to explore the south and west Donegal coastline. The Gables is 5 minutes walk to Laghy Village, and 5 minutes drive to beautiful Murvagh beach and Murvagh Links Golf Course, and within 10 minutes drive to Rossnowlagh beach
The Gables has a fully fitted Kitchen with conveniences, sliding doors link the kitchen to a spacious and relaxing sitting room with '50" TV, Another set of sliding doors lead into a sun room. The sun room is a place you could sit yourself down and enjoy a welcome cup of tea or glass of wine while relaxing and looking onto the garden. The property has 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom is ensuite, a second spacious bedroom with king sized bed is adjacent to a large upstairs bathroom.
Downstairs are two bedrooms both with feature, full length high arched windows which allows sunlight to flood the bedrooms with their polished wood floors. A shower room is adjacent to the two bedrooms on the ground floor. Wifi is available throughout the property.

The Gables, is on the Wild Atlantic Way route, stay local to Laghy and Donegal Town and explore its fabulous coastal walks, and beautiful beaches, try our championship Golf Course at Murvagh, go surfing in Bundoran which has been championed by CNN as one of the world's top surfing towns, take a boat trip on Irelands largest water bus to see the seals or enjoy some deep sea fishing.
Laghy is close to two beautiful beaches. You can walk to Laghy village which has two great restaurants, 'The Flower Pot', and 'The Pantry', two well known pubs, 'The Seven Arches' and 'The Dew Drop Inn' both offering traditional music, a supermarket, filling station, shop and ATM facilities.
Donegal Town is a 5 minute drive from the Gables, it is a fairytale of a place it features a charming harbour, Donegal Castle steeped in history, a where you can take a trip down Donegal Bay, Donegal Craft Village, famous 'Magee's of Donegal' specialising in design and weaving natural fabrics and making Magee's suits. Donegal Town is packed with little restaurants serving amazing food. It's pubs and hotels offer traditional music and entertainment nightly.
It's no wonder Donegal was named as the 'coolest place on the planet for 2017' by National Geographic.
Children aged 8 years and over are welcome to stay at the Gables, the house is not equipped for younger children
My life's motto is "keep moving" and I do! I am a business teacher, a mum of 2 beautiful girls, Ava age 13 and Lana age 11, an excellent cup cake maker and desert maker. I love going for dinner with my husband, Richard on the weekends. I enjoy swimming and jogging to stay in shape.
I can't live without my car (as I live in the country), high heel shoes and music!
I like to travel with my family a few times a year, see others family, friends and the sun! I run a busy household and take pride in my home. I respect this space as its always good to find a home away from home for my family.
