I am a bit taken aback by this guest's review, as this is not consistent with any of our prior guest stays at our cabin.
At the time of Brandon's reservation, the listing was for 4 bedrooms with a pullout couch for a total accommodation of 10 guests. The reservation was for 6 adult guests and the cabin has accommodated that many and more guests in the past with no issues. We have been working to open up a 5th bedroom to accommodate 12 guests for future reservations, and at the time of the reservation our listing indicated as such.
Although the guest indicated that he tried to communicate with us on February 9th, I have no messages through Airbnb, phone calls or text messages stating there was an issue. I followed up on the day of their departure, as is customary with our previous guests to thank them for staying and wished them a safe trip home and at that point there was still no communication from the guest.
As for the cleanliness rating, I wholeheartedly disagree, the cabin is thoroughly cleaned prior to all guest arrivals. Clean and fresh bed linens are provided, new towels put out, soap bars etc. Bathrooms, floors and carpets are washed and/or vacuumed before every visit.
As with any service, unfortunately you cannot please everyone, so we will continue to strive to offer a clean and pleasant cabin for all of our recurring and new guests.
