Our home is situated in a quiet private Courtyard with fields behind and within a 5 minute walk to pubs, restaurants and shops.
We half a mile away from the Arthur Findlay College and just a 10 minute taxi ride from Stansted Airport.
London is a 35 minute train ride away and Cambridge a 25 minute train ride away.
We look forward to welcoming guests of all ages and from all backgrounds.
Our house is a converted stable block in a courtyard which once was part of the Blythwood House estate, owned by Lord James Blyth. Blythwood House unfortunately was destroyed by fire in 1926. Edward, Prince of Wales was a regular visitor to the house.
Guests are very welcome to join us down stairs for a chat, or can also have use of their own private sitting room if they wish.

We welcome guests in to our house as friends.
We are a couple who find themselves with an empty nest now our sons are in their 20's and living in London and Berlin.
We spent time backpacking and on a Kibbutz back in the 80's, and have always enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life.
Travel is still something we enjoy, along with good food, music, reading, keeping fit and Yoga.
Walking with our Labradoodle Lily is one of my very favourite things to do, she is a very sociable girl and enjoys having guests here too.
Everyone will receive a warm welcome to our home, and we will always endeavour to make your stay a happy one.
