We are located in the shy area of Tentena. Our place is set well away from the busy city (a fifteen minute walk to reach the heart of Tentena). Our neighbors consist of lovely lake fish, monitor dogs and incredible birds.
Our aim is to interact daily with the guests, if they so wish, with the friendly staff on site to aid your necessities.

Miejsce
The Dodoha Mosintuwu building pro- cess has created what nowadays is being touted as ‘The Ripple Effect’. It has content of social solutions, providing alternative livelihood and income through creative work and knowledge sharing. To date, some of the locals continued working with bamboo, a couple of them taking or- ders of bamboo furniture from new customers, and most importantly, they now know that nothing in nature was created without value, including bamboo.

Here’s the combination of three core materials of Dodoha Mosintuwu: bamboo (that was being treated na- turally by soaking it in the lake water like what the ancestors did), rumbia (sago leaves) for the roof, and local- ly-sourced wood panels for the hall flooring and bridge/jetty.

Right in the center of ‪Dodoha Mosintuwu‬‬‬ building is a 360` library. Win dow to the world for local children and youth, who usually come for a vi-sit after school, picking books-of-the- day that catch their eyes the most. Inspired by globe shape, it was built using bamboo with pegs and black thatch ropes as its core elements. The space can occupy up to 20 adults or 30 children, and has functioned for many educational activities and events for children.

The first and second storey of ‪Dodoha Mosintuwu‬‬‬ function as the working zone. Humbly said, the Co-Creating Space. It’s where many of wonderful hearts who truly care for women , youth and children in the post-conflict society in Poso have contributed their thoughts, ideas, time and energy. They brains torm. They work on their mindfulness in writings and discussions, but they do more than they speak.

This space situated at the edge of the ‘fish tail’, and like the rest of the com-pound parts, bamboo, rumbia (sago leaves) and wood are key materials of the space. Affirming the balance of strength and flexibility, not only about the vibrant space, but more of the soul of the people live in it

The last core parts of the body of Dodoha Mosintuwu is the multipurpo- se hall. Stands toward the lake, the 14m-diameter circular hall becomes the building’s forefront, the gateway to the entire compound. Primarily functions as classroom for the Women School, the hall also takes a significant role as community space, with a number of events held such as photography exhibition, art performances, cultural gathering, children’s meeting, inter-village conferences, and one of the biggest event conducted was the regional Poso Women Congress in 2014.

When there are no occasions being held, the hall transforms into restaurant that serves local culinary of Poso/Pamona. This being a part of cultural preservation effort through food as well as a good practice of social entrepreneurship. At certain times, neighboring children who come to the library would grab a couple books, and pick a corner of the hall as they dive into their imagi- native world.

Lian, the owner started to open the room as part of ecotourism project. The idea is to help fund the mobile library that's Mosintuwu Institute runs which is still underfunded and to support the campaign of climate change. So by you booking this room, your money is going directly to funding a fantastic project that brings kids together from different faith and ethnic backgrounds that have no access to books in remote villages of Poso, and to support more ecological and enviroment project.
