We're glad that you enjoyed your stay, Rebecca, and we appreciate that you left the lodge clean when you checked out.
We do have a Rental Reservation Agreement that we ask our guests to fill out and sign. It goes over rules and expectations, and also offers information on what you can find at the lodge . The most important part of this document is the guest list, at the end. We ask for a complete list of all the guests staying at the lodge, so in the case of an emergency, we know everyone that we should be looking for to make sure they are safe and accounted for.
We reference this document in the first line of our 'House Rules' in our Air BnB listing.
In the 3rd paragraph of our listing, under 'Guest Access' we clearly state that special rates may apply to smaller or larger groups, and we request that guests contact us in these situations.
We have exactly enough beds to sleep 14 people in a conventional way. It is absolutely possible to sleep more, if guests are comfortable sleeping 3 in a bed or on a couch. However, I do not feel that advertising this would be an accurate reflection of our property.
I strongly believe that if a guest plans to bring more people to a property than they book for, it is their responsibility to be upfront and honest about it. They should also expect to pay for additional guests.
Thanks for your review, Rebecca. We always appreciate feedback as it helps us improve how we manage our property in the future.
