This beautiful space is bright and well dressed. With views of a lovely pear tree and the ancestral stone walk, this terrific bedroom boasts an adjoining bathroom with a claw foot tub. The home and grounds show signs of there age and their history as well. Comfortable for one...cozy for a couple. Come down and experience the quirky charm of this room. It is said Ulysses S. Grant would sleep in this very room when visiting the area. Enjoy a visit to an old gem in a amazing neighborhood.
This house was built in the 1700's and functioned as the town inn and tavern, as well as the old grange. It was always a dream of Grandmothers to return it to its glory days as an inn. We continue, as a family, to constantly push toward this goal. This is a very unique house, found on the national register of historic places and steeped in rustic character and charm.
The property is full of rich history and character. Most of our guests enjoy the ability to spread out and enjoy the unique charm of the Inn and its grounds. We don't mind sharing! There are many places to relax and find personal space throughout the house. There is a television upon request. There is also a beautiful fireplace and large dining table in the main room available to all upon request. We have a large yard with shaded terrace, small fire pit, berries and fruit trees for the picking, croquet, and disc golf baskets.

Quiet time after 10.
I am a forty one year old father of three. I am a cabinetmaker by day and innkeeper by night. My children are my everything. We have returned from New Mexico to try to breath some new life into this wonderful property, which belonged to my grandparents. We love it. They loved it. We think you will love it!
