The loft at Aumoku Hale (pronounced OW-MO-KOO HA-LAY) is on the Windward side of the Island & close to public transport & Windward Mall & across from 24 Hour Fitness & Windward City Shopping Center. Just only 10 min away is the popular Kailua Beach area and 30 minutes away from Waikiki and 60 minutes from the North Shore.

Aumoku Hale is located on the 2nd floor of a single family home with its own private entrance and good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and small families.


Welcome to Aumoku Hale! We hope you enjoy your vacation. It rains often on the windward side of Oahu keeping everything lush and green. The space is a great getaway when exploring the island.

You have a private access up to the loft. The home includes a full kitchen including stove, refrigerator and microwave as well as kitchen supplies for your cooking needs. There are 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms with a very open floor plan. A walk-in closest to tuck away all your luggage and space to unpack your clothing. We provide all linens, including beach towels and have a hairdryer and iron/ironing board for your convenience. There is also a large balcony right outside the living room. Although we do not have a TV we do have WIFI and an office area.

The home is for 3 people, $25 additional per night for 3rd guest.

You will have access to the 2nd floor of this home including the balcony. The 1st floor is restricted, the on-site manager lives on the 1st floor.

48 Hours prior to your arrival you will be sent additional information on your stay. On the day of check-in you will get the access code to the lock box to enter the home. When inquiring please list the names of all guests so we can have it on our files.

We are here to help if needed. There is an onsite manager available if you have any questions, but we also give you the privacy you need. We ask you to keep in mind, this is a privately owned home. Humbly, we simply ask that you respect & take care of the property as if it were your own.

The loft is really well setup with super modern kitchen and clean well set out bedrooms and lounge room. It is very close to shops and was a great spot for us to stay. Couldn't recommend enough !!.

My fiance and I had a lovely stay at Cherie's place! Great location for food and shopping! The on site manager Cheryl that was super nice and responsive. We would highly recommend this place to everyone. I must share one tip, remember to bring your bathsoap and shampoo! If you're like us who hates traveling with toiletries, there's a Longs Drug Store across the street to complete our needs Mahalo! Til we meet again

The home was lovely. Nicer than advertised. Quiet neighborhood and good sound containment. Air conditioning worked great and was an absolute life saver. Convenient shopping right across the street. Short drive to downtown and beaches. Good option if you want to avoid the horrific traffic.

Cherie's place is exactly as pictured, even larger than it looked! It was extremely clean and air conditioning worked great!! It was also in a very convenient location. There is a Foodland right across the street as well as gas station and other shopping should you need anything. It is within 15 minutes of Kailua and Lanikai Beaches and an easy drive to Waikiki, Kualoa Ranch, Mac nut farm etc! Cherie was available as needed to answer questions and responded promptly to all my messages. Highly recommend!!

This is a modest, clean apartment in a suburban-feeling area. It is very close to nearby homes and across the road from a small mall, which adds to convenience (a drug store and a Starbucks) but not ambience. House was missing several things that seemed pretty basic to me (notably porch furniture, given a lovely porch and no real indoor dining area) but was attractively decorated. Bed in master bedroom is very soft -- not great for anyone with back issues. Manager did not respond in a helpful or friendly way when I asked if the items I expected to find but didn't were tucked away in places I hadn't looked.

Cherie's place was absolutely gorgeous and spacious. I loved the modern decor. There's Foodland, Long Drugs, Starbucks and a 24-fitness across the street. Everything you need is within walking distance. All major roadway was within a 5 minutes drive. AC is available in every room but if you leave the windows open the Hawaiian breeze is much more soothing. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay here! We used it as a central location to explore Lanikai, Kailua and Honolulu. The design and aesthetic was relaxing, ultra zen like. Cheryl was very friendly and helpful.
