PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 4 GUESTS STAYING. The 3rd bedroom attaches to the second, and has 2 single trundle beds. It is ideal for a family with 2 children, but it doesn't give privacy to the Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, as it has to pass through the Trundle bedroom to get to the rest of the house. If you are still interested I could email or message a copy of the floor plan.
We have loving restored our cottage with a mix of family and New Orleans antiques and beach cottage furniture. Please treat it as your home. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood of locals and weekend residents. Kathy's family lived in the Pass for over 30 years, and because of this, we have many neighbors we consider friends. As such, we don't mind family and friends gathering on the porch, but please respect the peaceful aspect of the area. The Cottage and surroundings are not appropriate for loud house parties. The property is strictly a no smoking and no pets house! The house works best for one or two couples with 2 children, or a small family gathering, as the second bedroom (queen bed) passes through the third "kids room" ( 2 single beds in a trundle) to get to the rest of the house. We have a pak&play for an infant, but with 2 queens, and 2 single beds, 6 people is our limit. Please contact us with any special requests or concerns before booking. Thank you for considering our home.
Kathy and I are active frequent travelers around the world. We always book our own travel, and enjoy any feedback on the area from our hosts. This is why we try to book b&b's and Airbnb. Walking and wandering in beautiful locales is our favorite way to enjoy our travels. Good food, music, & the arts are at the top of our list. We have a vacation cottage near New Orleans that we have been renting out since 2009, and we have always learned from our guests. I am a visual romantic, and Kathy is a romantic foodie. Tuscany, Lake Como, Istanbul, Western Ireland, London, and Marrakech are some our favorites. New Orleans is a grand mixture of all our travels.
