You can stroll along the canal bank, catch a train from Risca train station which is 4minutes walk away (270yds) to Cardiff to an event (30 minutes by train). You can cycle or walk in the Cwmcarn Forest Drive 5 miles away or the Syrhowy Valley trail enjoyable for all levels of fitness and ability. You can relax and enjoy the lovely cottage in the light, comfortable indoor space or the pretty garden.

Easy access to the hiking trails of the Brecon Beacons and only minutes from the main A40 access road. The perfect location for walkers, birdwatchers and fishermen. For cyclists the renowned Black Mountain begins 500 metres from the gate. Cars and motorcycles have plenty of room to park.
