There will always be a friendly welcome at Cwt Blawd, a cosy and stylish retreat on the hillside, overlooking the Clwydian Range. The historic market town of Ruthin is a mile away and holds a wealth of history with it's castle, and beautiful buildings. Ruthin has numerous restaurants, pubs and take-aways (which includes deliveries). North Wales attractions are accessible by car with Snowdon and Zip World only 1 hr drive away. Walks and cycle paths are plentiful in the surrounding area.

It has been recently renovated and sleeps two people in one open plan space so, is ideal for couples or friends alike. It has a modern kitchen and en suite shower room. Our place is in the village of Rhuddlan near a 13th century church and castle, the River Clwyd, the Clwydian Hills, the beaches of Rhyl & Prestatyn, and the North Wales Expressway (A55). The peaceful, historic village has small local shops, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The modern, ground floor annex is private, with its own front door, hall, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower and small kitchenette. It is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

Outdoor pursuits and many other activities are available in the Snowdonia National Park and along the beautiful North Wales Coast.

There is a parking space for one car. This is a perfect couples retreat. We are situated 2 miles from the delightful, medieval market town of Ruthin with it's historic buildings and castle, on a quiet country lane. There is a wealth of cycle routes and walking paths locally.

You will have use of our cosy self contained annexe - with parking, wood burning stove, and basic kitchen facilities. The views of open countryside and our garden (currently a work in progress) are stunning. We have chickens and there are often lambs in our two small fields.
