This eclectic three-story log home is on the edge of Lake City. It offers stunning mountain views. This colorful house can sleep up to 8 people. The house has stairs including a tight, narrow spiral staircase to the basement. It has an open-floor plan upstairs with a king bed & a full bathroom. There are bunks beds in the basement along with only one TV. This home is ideal for people looking to unplug & unwind. It also has a wrap around deck with a BBQ & parking for a truck & trailer onsite.

Our home is clean with rustic charm of the old west, sprinkled with modern conveniences and antiques. We use green friendly cleaners. With our unique location, you can enjoy all the mountain benefits of exercise, adventure, sight seeing, or shopping, then escape for solitude and relaxation in a homey atmosphere. Soak in the nearby hot springs pools, enjoy one of the local restaurants, or relax on the deck and eat in. There are several trails nearby for skiing, hiking, or mountain biking.

Backcountry Basecamp Lodge

The main lodge is approximately 1900 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths which are private to each room. There is a main kitchen and living area with wood burning fireplace and woodstove. There is also another room with a small full kitchen. The addition on the back of the lodge is a separate Airbnb listing but may also be available. This addition is 420 sq ft. With a kitchen, bath, king and a twin bed. Cabin is across from visitor center and post office at north end of Town.

Riverfront Cabin 7 - Pet Friendly - Hot Tub Access

Cute and cozy riverfront cabins with electric are available as a more economical option for guests who want to have the cabin experience and still have the convenience of being close to downtown Ouray. PLEASE NOTE: Cabins do NOT have water or bathrooms inside. Drinking water is readily available. Heated restrooms / shower facilities are a short walk from the cabins and checked multiple times daily. Pets are allowed ONLY with pre-approval / additional deposit & nightly fees.

River View - Cabin 7

Great cabin with 1 queen bed, kitchenette and private bath. Can add 1 full size bed for $20 with advance notice. 2 night min. stay for holiday weekends. Bedding, towels, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator and basic kitchenware provided. Pond and river view. Our new wifi has been reliable. Pet fees are $15 per pet per night to be paid on arrival, no pets on furniture, must be leashed, picked up after and not left unattended in cabins unless crated.

Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with all amenities located in a scenic countryside setting. Driving distance from Telluride, Ouray, Ridgway. Great for family vacations, hunting trips, hiking, and biking. This house is for rent nightly or weekly. We can not accommodate any pets. Please note that the base price is for 2 guests; additional guests are $30 each. We do keep track of the number of guests in the house, simply because we care about our home.

The bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity with sink. Outside is a small porch sitting area with a table and chairs. This cabin has WIFI and ROKU TV.
