Welcome to Klettur Cottage, a peaceful retreat on our horse farm in South Iceland. Here you’ll find comfort, quiet surroundings, and a touch of everyday luxury. The cottage offers two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a stylish bathroom, along with a private terrace where you can enjoy the hot tub and views of the mountains. As part of our farm, guests have the opportunity to book guided horseback rides or lessons with our well-trained Icelandic horses (available at an additional cost).

Easy access to hiking trails and plenty of opportunities to explore the great outdoors.

The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.

The cabin is located in Hafnarfjörður, in a peaceful, quiet location, yet in the centre of the capital area. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. 5 minutes from the city centre of Hafnafjörður, where you will find everything you might need. Very centrally located; Keflavik Airport 35 minutes, Blue Lagoon 35 minutes, Reykjavik city centre 25 min. Relax after a busy day in front of the fireplace and / or the salt water hot tub, whilst enjoying the northern lights.

Surrounded by peaceful nature and stunning views, it’s the perfect place to slow down, unwind and enjoy quality time together. 🤍 The cabin is currently undergoing a few small improvements, so you may notice some signs of renovation.These do not affect your stay or overall experience. A cozy, peaceful and affordable little hideaway for those looking to relax, breathe and enjoy beautiful Icelandic nature.

Private Cabin Suite in Icelandic Nature

Private 40 m² suite within a two-storey cabin. You have the entire suite to yourself, not the entire cabin building. 1 hr 20 min from Keflavík Airport, 45 min from Reykjavík and 36 min from Þingvellir National Park. From Reykjavík, take the second Route 460 entrance. The final 3.5 km is a countryside gravel road. The first entrance has about 7 km of gravel road. For 3 guests, the third guest uses the comfortable single bed in the living room.

Cosy cabin located on a farm only 20 minutes from Reykjavík!:) on the way to the golden circle which offers room for 4 people. Come and stay at our farm and visit our wonderful animals. There are also fun experiences around our farm such as a lot of beautiful hiking trails, horse riding and more. Very good for families. It's a very good location to plan day trips from. If there are northern lights you can see right outside the door.

It has a simple but well equipped kitchen, electric heating and shower. It is ideal for groups of 4 or 5 but can accommodate up to 7 guests if utilizing the double sofa bed in the living area.

Rustic and charming place with a hot tub

A cozy and rustic studio by the sea. A small cabin located behind our house. Kitchen, bathroom and a queen size bed. Movie projector with Netflix and other stations. Dartboard and cattle bells. Hut tub right in front of the cabin with an outdoor dining area. If you are lucky, you will catch the Northern lights from the private hut tub. Government license number: HG-00003484

Cozy off grid, rural cabin for rent

Cozy, unfinished, cabin in the mountains is a great place to sleep, wait and watch the aurora borealis. There is a ski hill nearby for skiing enthusiasts, mountain river and cold water for Wim Hoff followers and fishing river nearby. Great place for meditation, hiking in the nature close waterfalls like Þorufoss, Trollafoss, Glymur, and Hvammsvik Nature resort.
