The Hemlock Hideaway is a charming, rustic cabin in the woods designed for rest and relaxation. Guests will journey into simpler times, inspired by antique furnishings that remind them to slow down and unwind during their stay. The cabin is isolated yet only 10 min drive to Jiminy Peak for skiing as well as park and trails for hiking, apple orchards, excellent restaurants and foliage viewings. Cherry Plain State Park, Mount Greylock, Lebanon Speedway, Albany, and Pittsfield are all 25 min max.

Barn Stay at Shadowbrook Farm

Welcome to the Shadowbrook Farm Stay. Tucked in the hills of upstate New York, this 1700's Shaker barn has been restored into a beautiful guest house. It sits upon a two hundred acre working pasture raised meat farm. This barn was used to hold, and milk cows for two hundred and fifty years. Guests will have access to portions of the farm lands which are highlighted on the maps provided in the Farm Stay manual. If you follow the farm road, you are able to meet every farm animal on the property!

The property includes a master suite w/ full bathroom and laundry on the 1st floor and 2 bedrooms with a full bathroom upstairs. There is also a full kitchen and dining room on the first floor for making and enjoying meals.

The Writer's Cottage is a tiny white house on a country road; vintage, complete, and inspiring. Built in the nineteenth century, it's perfect for a solo traveler or a pair of travelers exploring the Berkshires and the Hudson Valley. If you like rustic buildings, you'll be a fan of the cottage; it's an incredibly cozy time warp. Queen bed and living quarters downstairs; airy loft up a narrow set of enclosed stairs. There's an orchard and lawn with grill, hammock and ironwork table.

Enter through a grand reception hall/art gallery and climb the oak staircase to the sunny and spacious second floor apartment. There's a nice view of State Street and the Empire State Plaza. Features include: a new fully equipped kitchen, comfy lounge area, dining /work table, renovated vintage bathroom, walk-in closet and new queen bed. Some of the regions most cherished restaurants on New Scotland Avenue are within a two block walk. Close accessibility to both Albany Med Hospital and Saint Peters Hospital as well as Albany Law, The Albany School of Pharmacy and Russell Sage College. This home features a newly renovated fully functioning kitchen, a luxurious bathroom with a walk-in shower and full size tub.

Our lake house is on Glass Lake in Averill Park, NY. In case you want to venture off, it is close to Saratoga (race season!), the Berkshires MA, Albany NY, and Vermont. Incredibly private with spacious property. Our lake house is great for families with kids and couples, and handicap accessible. It is great for any season (leaves, skiing, fishing, swimming). Kayaks, row boat.....and the lake!! Age requirement of at least 30 years old for guests (except kids).
