"Lost Eden" Raystown Lake, mountain views, hot tub

Get "lost" to nature in this luxury house for two, located a 5 minute drive from Shy Beaver boat launch. Atop a meandering mountain road, this unique chalet has treetop views, a 30-foot-high living room, and a open bedroom with a king bed. Lots of natural light filters in from skylights and windows. A spiral staircase adjoins both decks. The lower level has a relaxing hot tub with a privacy wall and patio furniture. A cable railing incloses the deck for an unobstructed view of nature.

Hemlock Hills Farm

Hemlock Hills is a rustic and beautiful all-seasons hideaway situated on 500 acres of private property in the heart of the southern Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania. A 2-acre, spring-fed lake on the property is perfect for swimming and catch-and-release fishing. The property also features three outdoor fire pits, a tennis court, two indoor fires, a horse shoe pit, and a large downstairs hall with a pool table. Blue Knob Ski Resort is a 20-minute drive.

McCann, 25 minutes to Juniata college. The handcrafted sauna easily accommodates 4 people. We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home. It's the perfect cozy and welcoming space to rest and relax whether traveling for work, visiting family, or exploring the beautiful surrounding area.
