The beautiful family-run farm sits atop its own hill, overlooking the Merse river valley. The estate is spread over two thousand acres of land covering fairy tale woodlands, fantastic cypress avenues, holm oak and cork oak trees, fields of wheat, barley, sunflowers and maze, and groves of 3,000 olive trees from which a delicious DOP extra virgin olive oil is made. Each farmhouse has been renovated in great detail, the style, décor and charm of Montestigliano make it a special and unique destination for a wonderful, enjoyable and most importantly memorable holiday. The farm offers traditional Tuscan cooking classes and olive oil tastings, starlit dinners, pizza feasts and in-house private catering or massage services. While the surrounding area presents numerous opportunities to go on peaceful strolls in nature, taste typical dishes at local restaurants, go horse riding or on bicycle tours, visit a local market, relax in a hot spring or take an afternoon dip in the nearby river. This first-floor apartment, which sleeps up to 4 guests (approx. 60sq m), is one of two apartments build into this traditional Tuscan farmworker’s house that to this day retains its rural simplicity with whitewashed walls and terracotta floors, the pair of apartments is perfect for small family groups. In keeping with the typical farmhouse layout, the living quarters are located on the upper floor of the building, as the lower spaces were originally used as storerooms, animal enclosures or wine cellars. Casa Virginia 2 is accessed via an external stone staircase that leads to a cosy, shared, covered south-facing balcony complete with wicker furniture, perfect for relaxing cocktails with views of the family’s olive groves, cypress avenues and surrounding woodlands basked by the late afternoon sun. The apartment shares a large open garden with furnished vine-covered eating area and is located at the centre of the hamlet, just a few metres from both swimming pools. It has a light and airy living/dining room and fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom with shower.

L'appartamento si trova nel centro storico, a poca distanza da magnifiche chiese, luoghi storici e bar, in cui fare una dolce sosta. i parcheggi sono al di fuori delle mura di Montepulciano, ci sono parcheggi liberi ed a pagamento, proprio fuori la porta di Bacco si trova un parcheggio libero e salendo delle scalette si può accedere al centro storico. In paese passa il Pollicino ogni 10 minuti, piccolo autobus che percorre tutto il paese. Inoltre nella parte bassa del paese c'è la stazione degli autobus. linee per Chianciano per la stazione ferroviaria di Chiusi, per Firenze,Siena ed Arezzo. durante il soggiorno estivo gli ospiti potranno trascorrere una giornata in piscina presso la nostra abitazione in campagna.

The annex IL Forno sleeping 4, in front of the swimming pool, can be rented together with the main house only. At the disposal of the guests the large swimming pool (15 x 6 m - depth from 1.20 to 2.50 m) surrounded by a grassy garden with deck chairs and sun umbrellas.
