Il Metato is an old stone building that the inhabitants of the village used as a place to dry their chestnuts, and is now converted to a lovely stone house with panoramic views of the Apuane mountains, from its stone flagged terrace and beautiful rose filled garden. It is situated in the historical heart of the Tuscan hilltop charming village of Luscignano, in Lunigiana (ancient Italian region, divided between Liguria and Tuscany), surrounded by chestnut woods. Il Metato has been lovingly converted into an original and comfortable private house with a natural style of living. The ancient structure of the house has been preserved as well as the original stone walls, floors and chestnut wood ceiling beams. You enter into the kitchen-dining room fully-equipped with all the modern conveniences that you need for your everyday living: gas stove, electric oven appliance, refrigerator, table with seating for four people, wood chest stocked with dishes and glasses and a beautiful originalmarble sink. The highlight of the kitchen is an original large stone firewood oven – still working. Walking through an original solid wooden door you enter into the spacious living room with a comfortable sofabed for two people, a large armoire, writing desk, shelves for storage, books, magazines, etc., and a radio. Here you will find a ladder which will lead you to your loft bedroom, with a further sleeping capacity for two people, for a total of four, with a double bed and large armoire for clothing. Step down a few stone steps from the living room into the bathroom, which has been restored with ancient flag stoned floor, and completed with a modern bathtub with shower, toilet, bidet, sink and washing machine. Three ancient wooden steps from the living room lead up to a private terrace filled with fragrant rose bushes. Here you can dine, with panoramic views on the Apuane mountains. The house is the ideal place for a couple and also for a family with one child or two children, for a relaxing holiday, with the rhythms of nature, a peaceful starting point for wonderful walks in the woods, hiking in the nearby Alpi Apuane, or to discover the ancient villages and the many castles of Lunigiana and its historical, artistic and natural treasures. Sleeps: 2 (normal bed) + 2 (sofa bed). Appliances: refrigerator, oven, washing machine, radio-cd stereo, wi-fi, no tv, free parking nearby. Linens, utilities (water, electricity, stove), central heating are included.

La casa degli ospiti è immersa nel giardino: è un luogo silenzioso e romantico, dove si respira un'atmosfera artistica. Arredata con gusto, ha tutto ciò che serve per un soggiorno piacevole e rilassante. La piccola cucina è ben servita. Si possono fare belle passeggiate e gite alle città più belle della Toscana. Lucca dista 3km: è facilmente raggiungibile in auto, in bicicletta e in autobus. A pochi passi la Fattoria Sardi propone wine tasting tours nelle vigne e il suo ristorante è ottimo.

Ottimo punto di partenza per itinerari turistici in città d'arte, parco naturale di San Rossore, Centro Termale Bagni di Pisa e il mare del litorale tirrenico (Marina di Pisa, Tirrenia, Marina di Vecchiano, Viareggio, Versilia). La casa, circa 40 mq si snoda su 3 piani, ristrutturata in stile toscano, con giardino attrezzato.

Silenzioso, riservato e a 20' dal mare. OSPITIAMO SOLO ADULTI NON FUMATORI. Ciao! Sono Eleonora, e abito al piano di sopra! Il vostro appartamento, si trova sulla parte sinistra della casa e gode di un ingresso privato e recintato, bagno con doccia privati, cucina con sala da pranzo e una meravigliosa camera immersa nel verde. Pedona, dista 5' a piedi, e offre 2 alimentari e 1 ristorante. Abbiamo un Wi-Fi MOLTO PIGRO, ma la "connessione", non è la nostra priorità 😉

The Belle Vallé faces on an incredible view thanks to it’s position which is situated on top of a hillock along the shores of the lake. Outside in the garden you will be surrounded by beautiful chestnut trees and can relax having your breakfast, lunch and dinner in front of the peaceful and calm green waters of the lake.

All'esterno del monolocale un grande giardino dove riposarsi comodamente dopo aver goduto degli splendidi paesaggi della Garfagnana e della Valle del Serchio. Ottima base di partenza per escursioni sulla Alpi Apuane e sull'Appennino Tosco-Emiliano e per visitare Lucca distante 40 minuti in auto, Pisa un'ora, Firenze un'ora e mezza, la costa della Versilia un'ora.
