The Oryx Suite

The Oryx Suite is one of 5 suites and twins at the Misverstand Boutique Farm Lodge (www.misverstandboutiquefarmlodge.com). This is the master suite in every respect and is situated, for additional privacy, down a dedicated passage at the eastern end of the Lodge and thus benefits from the incredible sunrises. The total suite comes in at around 100 square meters and includes a huge bathroom with breath-taking views from the oval stone bathtub, a separate black granite and glass super shower and the twin wash basins. The bathroom is mainly glassed to access the bushveld and views but has curtains for privacy. There is a separate toilet as well as an outdoor shower. The bathroom has underfloor heating. The beautifully appointed bedroom features a four poster King bed with a luxurious down mattress-topper and a goose down duvets made up with Oxford cotton sheets and oversized pillows . There are block-out curtains for the deepest sleep and the room opens onto a private patio with seating and superb views over the rim flow pool and beautiful bushveld and then onto the spectacular Vredefort Dome and the Vaal River in the distance below. Guests have access to the full house which contains different lounges, dining areas, entertainment areas, a heated pool, cinema-style screen for viewing your favourite sports and movies, a top quality sound system and more. This beautifully appointed room features a King bed with gorgeous leather headboard and a luxurious down mattress-topper and a goose down duvets made up with Oxford cotton sheets and oversized pillows . There are block-out curtains for the deepest sleep and the room opens onto a balcony and superb views over the rim flow pool and beautiful bushveld and then onto the spectacular Vredefort Dome and the Vaal River in the distance below. A black granite tiled bathroom is fitted with a bath tub, separate generous glass-doored shower as well as a toilet and wash basin. Tierra Pequena is suitable for individuals and families with kids. There are 4 rooms inside the guest house to accommodate 2 people each, the Horseman (2 bedroom apartment) that can accommodate up to 5 adults and At the Stables (3 bedroom house) accommodating 6 adults. We are situated in Ballie Park - a safe, 2 hectare equestrian estate - very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life yet still in town. We are 5 min from the Mooiriver Mall and 15 min from the University.
