Kitchen comes fully equipped with a 5 hob electric cooker, oven, fridge freezer as well as a microwave. There is private parking for two cars. There is central heating throughout and a dish washer for your convenience. There is a supermarket 10 minutes walk away from house.

Chracaig is a cosy one story house typical of the Island. Situated within a forested garden and with the river Chracaig running behind, the house is set in tranquil surroundings. A 15 minute walk, or 5 minute drive, from the centre of Portree, here you will find the serenity of the Isle of Skye countryside whilst being close to town and amenities. This is a very special spot on the country road leading out of the town.

Self catering bungalow, ‘Crab Cottage’

Crab Cottage provides a comfy place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the Isle of Skye. This detached, self-catering bungalow for two is situated in a crofting community. The cottage is near and above the road but shielded by bushes and visitors have said the noise is minimal. Our own house and static caravan are next to the cottage. We live with 4 chickens (who live in a separate fenced off area).
