The South West Coast Path is on your doorstep and St Mawes, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays etc are all nearby. My house is a 3 bed (but 1 room locked for storage) it has 2 king-size bedrooms & boasts epic sea views of St. Michaels Mount, Newlyn harbour & the nearby countryside. It has parking for one car, a must in Newlyn! No through traffic, a large decking & a peaceful enclosed garden to relax in. A great location to explore the great outdoors, with Penzance, St.Michaels Mount, St.Ives, Mousehole, The Minack Theatre and Land's End, all within 8 miles! Plus it's <180 yards to Newlyn School of Art.

Arty miners cottage, wild tin coast of Botallack

This old miners cottage has been colourfully transformed by the artist owner. Traditional granite walls keep the rooms cool in summer and on chilly evenings you can cosy up around the log burner. There is a good size garden with mature trees, a BBQ and outdoor dining area. It's the perfect base for exploring the mines of Botallack, where Poldark was filmed and is also close to many local beaches including Sennen Cove and Porthcurno. The house is not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Plenty of walks on the doorstep across the SW Coastal Path. The Logan Rock Inn pub is 5 mins walk across the fields and Sennen Cove surf beach is less than 10 mins drive. Newlyn, Penzance, St Michael’s Mount, St Ives are a 15-25 min drive for activities and restaurants.

The hosts live in the main part of the house and have a border collie called Bill and a cat.
