If you'd like to discover an authentic part of Malta and at the same time stay in a traditional townhouse full of charm and with a pool then look no further! Our place is located in a quiet street leading to the main square in Paola (Raħal Ġdid) with free parking outside and close to all amenities. Buses going directly to Valletta, the Three Cities and the airport pass frequently close by. The house is just a couple of minutes away on foot from the Hypogeum and the Tarxien Temples. This spacious, bright and quiet apartment is centrally located in the historic and picturesque Grand Harbour area of Floriana, just 7 minutes walk from the heart of Valletta. The apartment is on the second floor (no lift access) of an early 20th century listed building and has high ceilings and a traditional Maltese timber balcony. The space consists of a fitted kitchen equipped with all appliances, a large master bedroom, spacious living and dining areas, and a bathroom with walk in shower.

Further up, around 15-minute walk there is a larger supermarket which also does deliveries. Also nearby, precisely in St. Thomas Bay area, you will find charming pizzerias, cafes, and restaurants. Should one wish to opt for the local public transport, you will also find a bus stop a few meters away from the property.

The bus stop is just outside your door, as well as coffee shops, bakeries and take-away places. Top-notch restaurants at the Birgu Seafront and the Rinella beach are also withing walking distance.

Birgu/Vittoriosa is a medieval city surrounded by fortified walls and flanked by a sleek marina. The parish church is dedicated to St. Lawrence. It is one of the oldest cities, playing an important role in the Siege of Malta in 1565. The 0.5 km2 city is located on the south side of the Valletta Grand Harbour, with a long history of military and maritime activities. Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans Byzantines, Arabs, Normans, Aragonese and The Knights of Malta all shaped and developed Birgu.

Free wifi is also available. The house is close to shops, public transport, open market, chemist, banks.

My refurbished seafront first floor apartment facing the historical town of Senglea is situated in the victorious city of Birgu (Vittoriosa). Right into the spectacular Birgu's harbour creek this apartment enjoys 180 degrees unobstructed breath taking views. Valletta (World Heritage by Unesco) the capital city of Malta which has been also chosen as the City of Culture 2018 is reachable in only 15 minutes by ferry from my apartment. Ferry berths a few metres away from my place.
