The property is tucked away in a sought after cove location on the grounds of Porthilly Farm, just a short walk across the beach to Rock. This charming little gem is an idyllic coastal getaway perfect for romantic breaks, taking it easy by the sea or for adventurous getaways alike. We run a working dairy and shellfish farm and our oysters & mussels are grown in the estuary.

The town's cosy pubs and award winning restaurants are a short stroll away. The property is also a perfect base from which to explore the beautiful North Cornwall coast and beyond.

Our 300 year old grade II listed Mill is set in a peaceful wooded valley location and retains many of its original features. These include the original water wheel, low doorways, beams and millstones which all set off this historical gem. The cottage is beautifully furnished with a classical elegence and features its own private terrace for alfresco eating, private gardens and stream. With easy access to the North Cornish Coast and Camel Estuary you will never be short of something to do.

Rafters occupies the first and second floors of Althea House, giving a cottage-like feel. On entering Rafters you are greeted with your own, private lounge with a 4K TV. The fully equipped kitchen adjoins the lounge and has solid granite worktops. Rafters enjoys beautiful views over the rooftops of old Padstow to the estuary. Rafters has a Laura Ashley king size bed with a pocket sprung mattress. The en-suite bathroom features a large roll-top bath as well as a separate shower enclosure.

Greenhorn is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi detached cottage in the historic town of Padstow. It offers open plan living downstairs. We’ve furnished our place with comfort and style in mind and welcome families and pets (£25 fee). Brand new shower room fitted March 2025 and water pressure improved. Off road parking for one car and a 5-10 mins walk from Padstow Harbour and town. Patio area to the side of the house as well as decking at the rear via bi-fold doors in the lounge.

There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.
