An ideal escape, our Studio is a private, self-catering garden unit located on the mountainside on a 300 Ha farm , with a pool (shared), & beaches closeby (15 min). Off the Grid - own power supply & fresh spring water extracted high in the mountains. Panoramic views over sea and mountain landscapes , surrounded by fynbos and wild birdlife , close to Capetown (55 km), airport, (40km) shopping amenities (7km) . Unwind after a busy day and relax at your private boma or around the pool.

Fijnbox eco-cabin

Enjoy the tranquil and peaceful environment with panoramic views over the Stranveld’s mountains and fynbos. Fijnbox is a 20ft eco container cabin situated on the mountain side overlooking Murasie and the small town, Baardskeerdersbos The cabin is perfectly suited for two adults, a great romantic gateway. This self-catering eco cabin is secluded and powered by solar and gas. It has a lovely braai lapa, with a wood fired hot tub on the patio. We provide all the luxuries you need during your stay.

A little forest in the heart of the Winelands cuddles this secret gem #jangroentjiecottage close to a dam fed by the fynbos covered Helderberg. a Selfcatering hideaway that sleeps two with a fireplace, braai and a woodfired hottub. Within walking distance from Taaibosch, Pink Valley and Avontuur Wine and stud farm. Just across the R44 Ken Forrester Wines is luring. For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

Lily Pond

Lily Pond, is a luxurious guest house just an hour and a half from Cape Town. Lily Pond is set on a natural pond brimming with incredible bird life, creating a serene atmosphere unmatched anywhere else. With no other cottages in sight and located on a picturesque wine farm, it offers a rare blend of privacy and luxury. The indulgent outdoor bath overlooking the pond, combined with the beautiful walking trails, enhances the sense of peace and seclusion, making this retreat truly one of a kind.

Mountain & Sea Cottage

A neat comfortable flat in a peaceful neighbourhood, a 500m walk away from the Onrus to Sandbaai coastal path. Great locations for swimming, surfing, diving or just catching some sun rays. If you like mountain biking or hiking the mountains are also just around the corner. The stoep features a wood fired hot tub and fire pit and looks towards the mountains and a stand of bluegums which attracts a lot of bird life. The flat is on our property but is completely separate with secure parking.

HoneyOak Tiny house & jacuzzi next to a WineEstate

Nestled between two oak trees on the edge of a vineyard and at the foot of the Simonsberg mountain, lies HoneyOak cottage. An exquisite garden, cosy firepit, enticing jacuzzi and seasonal herbs to pick for dinner, all add up to a unique experience. Being mere minutes from central Stellenbosch and down the road from an excellent shopping centre and Health Hydro, just add to the convenience of HoneyOaks situation. The cottage borders a working wine farm which boasts a beautiful labyrinth.

Potato Patch Self Catering Cottage

This versatile thatched roofed cottage is centrally located in a private setting offering contemporary country comfort with a dash of history. It is one of the two cottages located on the owners property with its own entrance and secluded garden. The cottage consists of 3 en suite bedrooms furnished with king sized beds. The rates are based on 2 people sharing a room. Using additional rooms comes with an additional charge. Pets are permitted on request at an additional charge.

Heidi’s Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

When we first opened our spot we were truly over the hills and far away... now the village has grown around us a bit, but the place can still feel pretty secluded. The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.
