The Highland Hideaway is a perfect place for the whole family to relax and enjoy. A small herd of Highland cows live here. A wet-weather creek is just behind the house, with a rock bluff and fire pit. There is a foos ball table and massage chair for your enjoyment after a day of hiking. The Hideaway is located 3 miles from Carver Landing. You'll be within easy access to SO MANY gorgeous places, including the national park. Like Music? You will love this house. This is the old Mountain View Music Store and sits right on the corner of the square where all the music happens. The house is on the National Historic register and was built in 1910. The rental is the entire upstairs of the house. There is a private entrance off the front porch which leads to a completely updated living quarters. Sit on the balcony that over looks the square and enjoy becoming fully immersed in the old world charm of Mtn View.

This cabin sits on 68 secluded acres near the Buffalo National River, mid-America's premier canoeing/kayaking destination. We are located near Buffalo Point in the lower Buffalo River section. Be sure to review driving directions as navigation apps are not always reliable in this area. You will drive approx. 4 miles on maintained gravel road.
